Wonderful experience taking dance lessons. Fred and Gretel are excellent instructors and make you feel welcome, especially as beginners. They are also very fun! Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to dance or take their dance to the next level.We did the two step for our wedding dance and got so many compliments! Thanks Blue Moon!

We recently had our wedding reception at the blue moon ball room and it exceeded all of our expectations. The venue is beautiful, and the staff are extremely helpful and adaptable to any situation thrown at them. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a wedding venue.

Took private tango lessons here in 2016 and 2017 for a few months, I met with Fred and Gretel, they are both really great people, I enjoyed learning the basics of Tango, Gretel was my instructor, I really do think she is a great person. If your even thinking a little of stepping outside your comfort zone I highly recommend blue moon ball room. I recently suffered an injury that will make mobility and dancing alot harder, I can honestly say, I will never forget this experience and will hold on to it for the rest of my life. They teach several dance forms, like Tango, and swing, I highly recommend the group dance events if you want to meet new people, that and they tend to be more affordable. The private lessons are well worth it for people who want to learn more quick, or are blessed with To left feet. Bottom line, if you thought you might like to learn to ballroom dance, or, even had a passing thought about learning to dance for a wedding or what ever, you would be making a mistake if you didnt sign up immediately. I am a ballroom dance enthusiast. When I moved to Rochester 4 years back, I looked for a dance studio that would fit my personality and style - casual, fun, and an opportunity to improve my technique.It has been a part of my weekly post-work commitment ever since. I have gained so much in knowledge and practice, thanks to Fred and Gretel. Their passion for argentine tango is infectious, and I am an ardent fan of the dance. Their teaching style is effortless, making the most challenging steps easy to follow and grasp. Most importantly, its fun to be part of a community.

Gretel is amazing. Fred is amazing. Classmates are amazing. Really enjoy the time I spend here.

We had our wedding reception there and it was AMAZING!! Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the dance lesson offered really made our first dance awesome and super special. I would 100% recommend this venue for smaller weddings (130 or less) because there is plenty of space for dancing and space to get off the dance floor for a break.

My daughters wedding reception was held at Blue Moon Ballroom this past weekend. This was an exceptional venue! The staff was friendly and helpful and kept the evening moving along at a nice pace. They couldnt have been nicer, and I would recommend Blue Moon for any occasion!
