We love Universal Movement & Dance!!! My daughter danced for another dance studio a few years ago and Ms. Julie was her teacher. When Julie left to opened her own studio we followed her. Ms. Julie and the other teachers makes classes so much fun as well as a valuable learning experience. They make everyone feel welcomed and valued. I would highly recommend this studio!!

Our son has been dancing with Miss Julie for many years, in fact we followed her to this new studio because we couldnt imagine him dancing anywhere else. We couldnt be happier. Our son has always felt listened to and comfortable. He considers Universal Movement and Dance to be a second home! We have always felt that the support he feels, not only from the instructors, but also from the other students and families, is invaluable. Additionally we have been so impressed by how the studio is making itself safe during this time. This and theater are the only activities that we have felt comfortable having our son participate in during the pandemic. Thanks so much to Julie and all of my sons teachers!

My daughter has been dancing with Universal Movement & Dance for the last 2 years. My daughter loves her teacher as well as the owner. The staff are all respectful and accommodating to families and the girls dancing. They follow all Covid-19 guidelines and regulations the owners have gone above and beyond to make it so the girls can dance with a pandemic going on and a as family I appreciate that. I recommend this dance 100% they are the most reasonable place around

This dance studio was recommended to me by one of my daughters friends. My daughter joined a few months ago and has loved it. It was so nice that she was allowed to try out a few classes to see which one she liked best before committing. She is meeting new people, getting some much needed time out of the house, and enjoying the class and teachers.

My granddaughter wanted to check it out since her friend goes there for several types of dance. My granddaughter had the opportunity to try all of them before choosing which ones she wanted. At no cost to me. She now takes two classes and always enjoys going. She’s looking forward to the May recitals this year. I have recommended it to other friends and their daughter joined as well.

Our girls started dancing with Miss. Julie this year after our old studio suddenly closed. Her passion for dance is contagious! All are made to feel welcome! Miss Julie is responsive and easy to talk to/work with! Having a dance studio open for classes during the pandemic is no small task yet Universal Movement & Dance has done it successfully! All of the teachers here care about their students and make learning dance fun. We love our dance family and would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking 👍❤️🙂

My daughter is a student at Universal Movement and Dance and we couldn’t be happier! The teachers are fantastic and truly share their love of dance with the kids. The atmosphere is very family oriented, and the owner has done an amazing job at keeping things as “normal” as possible for the students and their families, despite the struggle of running a business like this during a global pandemic. We absolutely love this studio! My daughter has grown more confident in her abilities and always comes out of class very happy and excited to go back. I see a huge difference in her since we’ve joined this studio and she genuinely enjoys learning here!! For reference she is six and has been dancing since she was 2 but this is the first year here and the first year we’ve seen her over the moon happy with what she’s doing!

My daughter went to a different studio in Greece for 2 hrs. Hated it. Every week we forced her to go. Started at Universal over the summer, my daughter loves going. She had made some great friends. Ms Julie has been great working us.Would recommend Universal Movement to anyone

She pushes my daughter to try her hardest and to expand her talents! We could NOT have asked for a better place for our daughter to hone her skills doing something she loves with someone who sees the potential in all her students and encourages them at every turn!

I started dancing at Universal Movement and Dance after my old studio closed and it is a great place! The owner and teachers are all excellent teachers and have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere for dancers of all ages.

This owner and staff are highly qualified and work very well with children. The owner cares about the safety of all participants and practices proper COVID protocols. HIGHLY recommend!

I said “no” on the form when asked if my daughter’s photo could be used on social media, and the owner posted a photo of her on their social media page anyway.Owner committed a federal offense by putting my refund for class directly in my mailbox. My family was alone in her waiting room with a friend who we see outside of dance and the owner called to tell me my daughter was no longer welcome due to our “unacceptable behavior” (not wearing a mask). The state mandate says mask when not able to socially distance. It also says that those who are unable to medically tolerate a mask are exempt, but we almost always obliged to avoid conflict for the mere 30 mins. Would not recommend. Also, a woman named Melissa has a daughter who takes multiple classes and complains the entire time she’s in the waiting room. She removes her mask when she’s hyper about whatever she’s complaining about at the time, but the owner works with her outside of dance so she doesn’t say anything. Very thankful we found another dance facility, but we were five months into classes and the owner’s actions led to canceling the class altogether which caused my friend to lose dance for her daughter as well - they were the only 2 kids in the class.

This studio owner is SOOO passionate about dance & teaching!!!!! Jamieson is also very qualified to do both! Their COVID protocol is safe & necessary. The whole staff goes above & beyond for their students always. Thank you Universal Movement & Dance & keep up the phenomenal work-Highly Recommend! 🤍💫
