My kids have been at Discover Magical Moments Daycare Center for years. The family-run business definitely has a close-knit, personal feel. Weve had amazing experiences with all of the teachers and staff who have supported our kids. Everyone is caring, dedicated, and competent. Many of the teacher and staff have been with the center for five, ten, or more years, which seems unusual for daycare centers and is a strong testament to the positive environment.

We have had 2 of our children at DMM and both love it, currently for a total of 6 years. One has gone to Kindergarten and was very well prepared for this. Our younger child is still there. If your child has a unique situation, they will work hard to get through it. RECOMMEND!!

Our daughter started in infants and has moved on to toddlers all at discover magical moments and she loves going to school. She talks about her teacher Jessica all the time at home. We couldnt be happier to send our daughter there

Our family has used DMMDC for over 10 years with our three children and couldn’t have had a better experience for our boys. You get the reliability of a center but the care of a family run business. Great that they have built in pre-K so we didn’t have to find a separate location when each of our children became of age needing it and each have been well prepared fir the transition into Kindergarten.

Our children have loved their time at DMM and their teachers. It is a wonderful thing to know your children are being well cared for while you are at work.

I am so happy I choose to bring both Liam and Lila to Discover Magical Moments. I have had nothing but a positive experience with my children. My daughter started from the time she was able to attend daycare and has bonded with many teachers. She has been in infants and is now in toddlers and loves going to daycare to see her friends. My son graduated the pre-K program and is now in kindergarten and still loves to visit all of his teachers and friends every chance he gets because of the great relationships he has with the teachers.I have never experienced anything negative with any staff member and feel as though I have an amazing support team. All staff members are compassionate, nurturing, caring, friendly and professional. Everyone has went above and beyond to ensure my childrens safety. This includes childproofing, food safety practices, having a well-kept and maintained play space with sets of toys, and constant supervision. Discover Magical Moments has been a safe, healthy, caring and educational place for my children to learn and grow. They supported all areas of my childrens development and wellbeing.It takes a village to raise our children :)

My child went here for a little over a year, panicked every day, which I was told was normal when I discussed concerns with the director and staff. A few months later my child had major behavior issues which are linked with ptsd from trauma experienced during her time here.I was made to feel it was only my child experiencing issues until multiple other parents came forward with what they were experiencing.I hope the current investigation of what happened 2 years ago can come to a just close but wanted to warn any others that were not aware of the current history of this care center.

I used to work there for 6 months the staff are horrible and the director dont care my dad had a lot of health issues and ended up in the hospital alot and when that happend I had to be there with him and the director didnt like that so she fired me cause I had to many issues I dont even want to give them one star please go somewhere else with your kids and for different employment.

I am so thankful that both my kids attended this daycare! The director and staff are exceptional and treat the kids like family, as well as myself. Both of my kids were taught by consistent staff and had the same preschool teacher throughout our 5 years attending here. Lynn did an excellent job. If I ever had any issues with either of my children I was not afraid to speak with any teacher about working with me. They were more than willing to help as every child is different. My daughter has excelled in reading and is in the gifted and talented program in school. My son will be starting kindergarten and already knows all his kindergarten sight words and a good majority of first grade sight words. My kids always enjoyed going here and made a lot of friends. The kids always enjoyed when other teachers would cover their classroom as many of those teachers taught them as babies in the infant room and toddler room and the staff were familiar with them. I will definitely miss this place, but also so thankful the staff helped my children learn and grow. I never had any concerns while my children were in the care of the staff at Discover Magical Moments. I appreciate all the director and staff have done for my family.

Communication could be better between teacher and aids, especially during ending of the day when aids cover and have no input as to how one’s child behaved during the day. Some staff seemed friendlier than others but the turnover rate especially in infant can be frustrating. The toddler transition is a lot better as teachers are more consistent, we were fortunate enough to have a great teacher, (Jessica) she was helpful and provided great feedback.I am concerned why the classrooms are not equipped with cameras for liability for the center and as a parent would feel better that big brother is watching because a background check cannot screen out properly and having camera would assure better compliance.Overall, it’s not perfect but they do try to help with accommodation, but things could surely improve if they accept the feedback.*Get some cameras installed in the classrooms.

I absolutely loved Discover. My son loved going to daycare and seeing his friends, and adored his teachers. I had a hard time finding the right daycare, but the day I walked into DMM for a walkthrough I knew I could trust them to take care of my son and love him like their own. We will miss all of the teachers and other staff that made us feel like family.

We have been bringing our children here for 8 years (first our son and now our daughter), and have been blessed with staff that truly care for them and us. (Our son still talks about some of us teachers, and he is now in 3rd grade!)Discover Magical Moments has shown us that people come first as we have dealt with personal family struggles, and they have worked with us to ensure we have one less thing to worry about!We would highly recommend Discover Magical Moments Daycare for anyone looking for a place for their young children.

We have two children who attend the daycare center full time. Our oldest has been there 4 years now. It has been a wonderful experience! Kind, compassionate, and educated staff has made it a joy to be there. My kids now have friends in daycare with them and love to go each day. We love the projects that come home, the daily notes and the things they learn each day. It surprised me by just how much the kids learn in their preschool program! And our youngest, now toddler age, comes home humming a tune each day - so funny! A wonderful place to send your kids.

Our daughter was at this facility for almost a year and I wish that we would have moved her to another center sooner. With the exception of a few, the staff never seemed warm/friendly or as if they genuinely cared about our child. When we put in our notice of leaving, the staff and/or directors did not even care enough to inquire why or ask for feedback. We are much happier with the new facility that we have moved to.

My daughter went to the infant room for 5 months and toddler room for one month. The staff is very friendly and warm. The administrative people are helpful and flexible. I liked David, and Renee for their flexible and adjusting attitude. My daughter loved her teachers; Carol, Becky, Melissa and all others. They keep the place clean and tidy. Highly recommend them to everyone.

The staff at Discover Magical Moments is what sold me, and brought me to using them for my sons child care needs after a lengthy and exhaustive search. I found that the owners and staff are far and away more pleasant and inviting to work with than at any other child care center I had toured, and they are willing and able to go above and beyond in serving their patrons families in both care for children and in finding other programs and resources for support. It also certainly helps that the facility is the best in the area, with excellent new construction and security... but that would mean nothing if the staff werent as brilliant at they are!

My son is happy to go to daycare each day at Discover Magical Moments! As an infant he is fed and played with all day long. They keep in mind where he should be at developmentally and give us suggestions of things to work on and be mindful of. As a first time parent, it is very helpful to know that they have my sons best interests in mind.

My child has been going here for almost 2 months and I am super happy with Discover Magical Moments West. Staff are super accommodating of parent requests (like changing how much to feed, trying to work on nap schedules, doing cloth diapers, etc), everything is very transparent and they are happy for parents to stop by and visit anytime during the day. The whole place is welcoming and clean and has a fun environment for kiddos. They also really work at doing arts and crafts with even the little kids and Im always getting a new piece of artwork to take home every week or so. Theres a good balance of education but also allowing kids lots of free play time.

Staff is uneducated. No communication. The teachers are disrespectful to parents, are allowed to be disrespectful with no recourse, and make uneducated assumptions. I have 4 children, all that have been at other facilities within southeastern Minnesota. I have never been a part of such unorganized, unprofessional, and uneducated staffing. I chose this facility based on their online reviews and the tour that we were given. I was impressed to say the least. I was sadly mistaken. My 2 children did not make it six months here. It was quite an appalling experience that staff was allowed to be disrespectful and when raising the issue to the directors, they did nothing and made it quite clear that they would not be reprimanding their staff. Be very careful when choosing a family operated facility as it is apparently hard for the directors to remain objective. I am absolutely stunned by the lack of professionalism that is allowed. Do not base your decision by online reviews or facility tours. Reach out to people in the community. You will find that there are numerous other people that have heard “nothing but bad things” about this facility. Lesson learned.

They don’t even deserve one star. This facilities operations are absolutely APPALLING. If you care for your kids well-being at all please, PLEASE choose another day care. 500 some comments from former employees and families including me have all had some sort of issue with our duration using Discover Magical Moments. Don’t let your child become a victim of what they have and will continue to put them through.

Weve been to a few day-care centers in town and we are very happy at DMM. The staff all seem very friendly and our 2 kids always seemed well cared for. Recently we ran into an issue and the center director went out of her way to find a solution for us. We started out at DMMs original north center before they consolidated to the NW location and the new center is amazingly designed, clean and secure. Weve also compared prices and this center is extremely competitive.

We have been very happy with our experiences at Discover Magical Moments! All of the staff have been so caring and know the children, even if they arent assigned to their classroom regularly. Communication and caring is important to me and this staff definitely provides that for my daughters when I have been at work. Knowing they are wel cared for helps me focus on my job so I can focus on my children when I am with them.

Would give negative stars if I could. My son had the worst experience at this daycare. Staff is very rude and I would never recommend this daycare to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional staff, have also heard from actual educators to stay away from this place. It would be worth it to look elsewhere.

Our boys have attended DMMDC since they were babies starting with our oldest in 2018. Putting your child’s care in the hands of others can be incredibly scary- but Renae and the crew have listened to every concern and came to a resolution. My family is incredibly lucky to be apart of this group of awesome people!Thank you for loving our boys!
