Northstar Christian Academy staff, administrators, coaches and teachers invested tirelessly into our children. Due to their genuine interest to equip young people to pursue Gods call on their lives, both attended college and are now serving our communities in the medical and education fields. A combination of academics, athletics and spiritual education, was exactly what they needed to stay on a path to successful living. Highly recommend a Northstar education -- it is worth every penny!

Some of the teachers here are mean and not meant to educate children. They have retaliated against elementary age students for mistakes made long after they have been punished and redeemed themselves. They retaliate by repeatedly embarrassing the students in a group setting, as well as withholding lunch! For the values they advertise and the cost of tuition, we should all expect a warmer more excepting environment not ONLY for the children whose parents make significant donations to the school.

Great education with a small-school home-like feel. Faculty and staff genuinely care about the students--I have personally seen tears shed in compassion for them. Teachers take their responsibilities and roles seriously. I am very proud to send my 4 kids there.

Good educational system with an awesome teachers. The school is not to big that makes it more familiar. Excellent place for the teaching of Gods word.

Amazing school all around. One time a cat was stuck on the roof and Mr. Johnson let it jump to its doom because in his words “if it got itself up there, it can get itself down.” I’m so glad he’s teaching our students the hard rigors of the real world. The staff are also very kind and forgiving. Just the other day I heard a student yell “You know nothing about basketball JJ, don’t tell me to get my grades up!” Normal schools would give punishment to the basketball player for saying that but the forgiving staff had mercy and let him play the next game. By far however the nicest person in that building is Daniel Vacco. Mr. Vacco has been brightening students days for as long as I can remember. He once found a kid crying in his class and asked what was wrong. The kid said he was getting bullied. Mr. Vacco told the kid to just stop getting bullied. That kid grew up to be Kim Jung Un. Overall the best school I have ever stepped foot in and I will continue to send my kids there if the vaccination law gets changed.

Great private school with a Christian emphasis. Students are well behaved and encouraged to be active in the community. The teaching staff is exceptional.

Been going here for years. Rules still pretty strict, some of the teachers are really nice while others are harsh. Education is questionable at times, sometimes information (especially in history) is inaccurate or wrong. Biblical doctrine is different with each teacher, some contradicting eachother. Chapels are extremely boring and dry. In a safe area, only concern are the residents at dun tower because of the amount of cops and first responders who go there.

Eh, a lot of the reviews here are from people who work at NCA. Used to be better, current admin could be better but it is what is it.
