I’ve been Preston’s student since 2017, and Preston has helped me tremendously in improving my ballet technique and artistry. There’s no other ballet studios in the area that will give this much focus on adult dancers. We come to learn and take all his constructive criticisms and corrections with an open mind. It’s an important part of the learning process to be able to take corrections and improve upon it. We have just completed another show performance, and I’m so proud to be part of Preston’s school, and be part of the whole ballet family that he has created.

Amazing classes with great routines

Preston is one of the best ballet teachers I know. He has excellent technic and is able to instruct students in the way that they can understand. At the same time, he also emphasizes artistry and tries to bring beauty out of every one of his students.He has eagle eyes and will not miss any error you make. So come to his class and be willing to be corrected and improve! 😉

I’ve been learning ballet with Preston for couple of years. Preston is a very good ballet teacher in both technique and artistry, sometimes I even think he demands too much. But you really improve yourself a lot. This is my experience. Yes, highly recommended.

It is a wonderful school for ballet class. The teacher is nice and very knowledgeable at teaching. I feel I have improved a lot on dancing since I have started taking the beginning ballet here.

I’ve been dancing over 30 years and have seen many ballet teachers in my life. Some are beautiful dancers but bad teachers. Some could be good teachers but don’t care enough to be, just clocking it in. Preston is the real deal and the SGV is lucky to have him here. He is exceptionally passionate and sees the beauty in all of his students, including us adults, when most studios don’t regard us as having potential worth developing (just a revenue base). For children (all levels) and adult beginners: He will teach you how to dance properly (sounds basic but I was not taught properly as a child; this is critical). For intermediate/advanced adults: Some studios primarily cater to beginners (on the adult side) because they are a larger customer base and ignore the more advanced customer base, which is admittedly small; you will not be forgotten with Preston and he is genuinely delighted to continue your ballet development. He is also rare in that he emphasizes both technique and artistry. He is the best teacher in the SGV, hands down!!! One of the best I’ve had in my life.

I’ve been learning basic ballet from Preston for a year now, I got so much improve of ballet technic. Never too late to learn on my early 50. Will try to learn my pointe shoes.
