I wouldnt even give this school 1 star if I didnt have to. I was so extremely discusted with the special needs department that I would not recommend this school to anyone for that reason alone. They have no structure and no real consequences or anything for their students. I realize that it is difficult when you cant get a student to do anything theyre asked to do but I dont think that they should bribe them with candy or threaten to take something away that they do like if they dont follow assignments or rules. If they say that you are going to lose recess if you dont do your assignment, and then they dont follow through with it, then whats the point? The student is most likely going to play the teacher and not do it bc they know that theyll really still get their recess or whatever is said to be taken away. Its just terrible practice. I have a son with severe asbergers and severe ADHD. I Have been to about every school in the state. This was by far the worse elementary school i tried. Not only that, the teachers werent at all friendly. Not at all a good experience for me and my son. I gave it 2 years. NOTHING improved. I pulled him out of public schools and went to home/private school and in a years time hes caught up and had the most improvements ive yet to see. Parents with a special needs kid, I would not waste your time with this school!!!

Best school for my children and always
