This is the only program that I could find that offers the flexibility I need so that I could continue to work. Tutoring and extra support are offered to students. Just be aware that nursing school is not easy.

I graduated from the Medical Office Administration program. The staff from instructors, to admissions, student services and career services have been helpful and wonderful since the beginning of my program. With COVID-19 being one of the greatest challenges to finding a job opportunity in my field, no one gave up on me until I landed a job! Thank you Unitek College for caring about me being successful! Horrible horrible horrible. This was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Some of the staff are decent but this place is a scam.

Horrible experience. I went for the LVN program for 2 days and decided that I didnt want this school to receive any more money from me. First, the academic admission rep misinformed the entire class on the schedule. We were all told it was Mon-Thurs went in fact it was Mon-Fri. The admission rep (Elena) also never remembered talking to me. I would go to the office to resolve issues and she would call me 2 days later as if she never sat down and spoke with me. During the first day of the prerequisites, the instructor told us many times that we dont matter right now, were nobody until we get into core. And most of you are going to fail anyways. They have no faith in their instructors, their program, or their students. I felt that I was just a number there and thats it. Dont waste any money on them because all they care about is reaching their quota.

Its just a bad school all around. Experience, if you have a class room full of students and we took a test and 90% of the class failed. The students did not fail the teacher did. Dont waste your time even looking move on

This is the second time I review this school with a different account. They keep taking my reviews down but I get why. Take your money elsewhere, this school are crooks! They steal and they have tried doing it to me and they did it to several students. They will get you signed up in their programs and once you are halfway through they will find a tedious reason to force you to withdrawal with no real basis. They are being investigated because they have been caught stealing money in the following areas, during prerequisites they were caught falsifying test scores to get the students to purposely fail so they can continue on stealing their prereq money, they have forced students with no real basis to withdrawal and mind if I tell you these are students who are under Federal assistance and private loans, they get paid up by both avenues and once they force the students out, they ask for more money to release transcripts. This school has been reported to the bureau and are under investigation. They tamper with students test scores to get people to fail, couple of instructors have given students upcoming exams so that they may pass, the rules are not the same everyone, when they know you are failing they dont tell you until the end so that way you are responsible for the whole cost of classes, another way that they steal! You have been warned, this this is the second time I review this school because they keep taking my reviews down.

Let me tell you about my experience here. I scheduled an appointment because I was interested in their LVN program. It seemed like a good school, the students were happy, the workers were happy. It felt like a good environment to pursue my career into the nursing field. They sat me down and we had a long talk, almost 3 hours, about how Unitek students never fail the NCLEX exam after they graduate. After hearing this, I was sold. However, I didn’t want to sign anything yet because I wanted to talk it over with my family since it would put me in more debt since I just graduated from a 4 year University. After talking this over with my family, we were told to sign for the pre-requisite class.Note: You have to take a pre-requisite class that is extra and costs about $1,500 plus a $150 deposit to hold your spot. The $150 is refundable within 3 business days of paying.Also, If you don’t pass the pre-req class the first time you have to pay another $1,500. After talking with more friends who went through the Unitek program. I found out that it was hard for them to get a job as a LVN. Also, LVN’s don’t make as much money compared to a minimum wage worker. It’s about $2-$5 more. So I was thinking why would I pay $30,000 to just go into an LVN program when I can take the pre-reqs at a community college and skip the whole LVN program and go into an RN program. WHICH IS A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER THAN UNITEK.Fast forward ahead. It was 3 business days after paying the fee of $150. We wanted our refund. They emailed back saying they needed a hand written note. So i did that and once that happened they stopped replying. I emailed them back twice regarding my refund. Nothing. All the reviews about this school being one that just takes your money is true folks! Save your money and take it elsewhere. I’m glad I didn’t pay the full $1,500 and go through with their LVN program. I advise you not to go here and fall for their fake smiles. Ive been trying to contact this campus for information about their LVN program and Ive requested using their website multiple times and I still have not gotten a call back. its a little frustrating when someone is trying to get an education and the campus they want to attend doesnt even give people any information.

I simple words “ donot go there”.

Worst school ever! They are falling apart. Out of 30 people 5-7 people usually pass. This school is so bad they take questions from other schools and even changed their program, again. They tried to make an RN program, but that failed, because they cant even get the other programs right.They have tests where everyone fails and the retake for the test is even harder. The teachers and staff hate it and dont even fight for the students, because they are afraid to lose their jobs. They put test questions on things that werent even taught. I graduated from here and HIGHLY regret it. l will continue to spread the word about how terrible this place is. They dont care about Veteran students like they say they do. They always try to get your money in cash and rush you to pay when you sign up. If you are looking to go to this school dont. Even the VA office they have next to it said its not a good school. You would have better luck driving to Freemont, going to Carrington, or Curam. I swear on everything I love that this is a conniving, theiving, and just a downright terrible school. Please Im begging you to not go here.

They have entrance exam jus to make people fool and show that this school has BIG reputation.As u put urself in here.... everything gonna run ok only till the mid.... as soon they get all of the money,Now is the time to change rules..... and .. bring more rules . Jus to fail more and more students. And teachers dont KNOW FROM WHERE THE STUDENTS SUPPOSE TO STUDY AND FROM WHERE EXAMS COME FROM.MOSTLY TEACHERS ARE OVERAGE OF RETIREMENT BUT THEY JUS STILL HERE READING LINE TO LINE FROM BOOK IN LECTURE CLASS)( they try their best to fail u in the last week of second semester coz med surg-2 is 8000 dollars, they purposely dont let u pass and u cant check your own exam after marks....)Now, You already spend 8-9 months and 36000.At the end of the second semester when u have robbed completely , and they fail 95% students..Now u have two options:--give these greedy people 8000 and try ur luck second time..(It is not necessary that they gonna be nice to you..Coz after 3rd semester , if some amount of students are not clear Nclex then this school gonna shut down automatically. SoIts totally up to you viewers......

Take your money elsewhere! This is not the school for you if you are not paying the cost out of your own pocket... communication is horrible in this institution. They wait until last minute to get documents completed for example for financial aid and then they have the audacity to threaten students that if the forms are not completed the student will be at fault and withdrawn from the program due to  their negligence. Not to mention with my situation, this school is committing fraud! They forced me to withdraw for no real reason... their words we are no longer able to accommodate you at this time. This happened after completed two semesters and being 14 weeks away from graduating the lvn program. Then they put a hold on my transcripts claiming that I owe them money when I was under FAFSA that should have covered my costs for semesters 1 and 2. Additionally, I had a acquired a private loan with this school to cover 3rd semester that was not covered with FAFSA and I have been paying such loan since the semester 1 which they didnt even let me complete and I am still paying such loan. So if anything, this institution owes me and FAFSA money! Ever since this happened about 3 months ago, I been trying my hardest to fight my way back since their grounds for withdrawal was unlawful according to the BPPE which is the bureau that sets out the laws and regulations for this school. So far I was only able to acquired copies of my transcripts after I was able to prove to them by showing factual evidence in my favor that they were in the wrong and not I. I was even able to acquired my statements from Fafsa and I correlated such statement with the schools statement of my account inquiry and I was able to figure out and show them that they were stealing from me and FAFSA which is why they ended up releasing the hold of my transcripts recently for this so call bAlance I owe them. I am yet waiting to hear from them in regArds to the resolution to all the inconveniences this institution has caused for me for no apparent reason. It is obvious to me that this school attempted to commit fraud , however, they attempted to do so with the wrong person becAuse I know my laws! And so should you prior to your enrollment to this school if my review does not give you the hint to save your time and money to go elsewhere. (FyI: my situation was not their first nor second or last)
