My daughter has been dancing with Ballet San Angelo for 7 years now. She has grown so much under the direction of all her wonderful instructors. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism Ms. Miller has brought to the studio this past year. Some of my fondest memories of teachers past were those who were strict but fair. I believe Ms. Miller will hold that same special place in my daughters heart. Thank you Ballet San Angelo for instilling a love of the arts in my daughter and me.

My daughter has danced with Ballet San Angelo for 11 years and I can not say enough great things about this organization. The quality of dance education BSA provides is outstanding. In addition to the superior dance education, BSA provides a positive and safe environment for its students. San Angelo is lucky to have such an incredible organization. Thank you BSA and Sandra Miller for all you do for San Angelo.

We love our Ballet neighbors. Weve been watching Ballet San Angelo grow strong, confident dancers since we began producing theatre next door to to them at their old location back in 2011. They shared one of their extra studios with us and we loved watching the dancers coming and going. The shows are simply breathtaking! (Theatre people are not nearly as graceful as ballerinas!) High quality productions focusing on classical training and innovative ideas... simply stunning. Their staff is friendly and accessible and always professional. We are so excited to share the Performing Arts Center with BSA as we transition to SAPAC. Bravo, BSA!

This ballet school is the tops! As we were preparing to move to San Angelo, our child’s ballet teacher told us to search out this school. Yes, she knew of it from several states away! This is an excellent ballet school. And I have to say that I have been truly amazed by the quality, variety, and professionalism of the shows that this school puts on. Even if you don’t have a child in ballet, you will love watching their December Nutcracker, March Contemporary show, and April Story Ballet. The pre-professional students are highly skilled and will knock your socks off with how good they are. Also the staff are very friendly, helpful, and understanding. I saw a negative review here about the staff, but that either was with a staff member who is no longer here, or maybe the blame was unjustly laid. After all, if we commit to being in a show, we do need to commit to being at the rehearsals too. It’s a big responsibility, attending all the rehearsals. If we don’t, everyone suffers, not just the person who misses. In any case, all of my interactions with staff and faculty have been great. Even when there are tough situations, they are willing to work things out. I admire them immensely, and I’ve known them all for a year now. Definitely try this place. I’m very glad we are with Ballet San Angelo. The recommendation our teacher gave back home was spot-on. This is an excellent school.

My daughter has been dancing at BSA (Formerly San Angelo Civic Ballet) for the past 13 years. She has developed wonderfully strong skills in classical and contemporary ballet, and she has also developed a strong sense of self confidence. Through responsibility and hard work, BSA develops the whole dancer and provides unique performance opportunities and great workshops with guest artists and/or touring companies. My daughter has been encouraged to spend summers in intensive training programs that required an audition, and we feel with her training through BSA, she had the technique required to be accepted into these programs. Most of all, they care about our family and my daughter, and we feel that BSA is a part of our family.

My daughter has been taking lessons from Ballet San Angelo for over 5 years and has participated in the Nutcracker for the last 4 years. I greatly appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the entire staff that works tirelessly every weekend (outside of their weekly classroom hours) from the first weekend in September thru the final performance of the Nutcracker each year. As a theatre professional, I personally have greatly appreciated the new, higher level of professionalism Ms. Miller has brought to BSA. Art as a profession requires great discipline and real commitment and dedication, hard lessons my daughter is embracing to obtain her future dancing goals.

My son has volunteered to be a party boy in the Nutcracker for a couple of years now. This year practices started in September through opening day December 15. There is a rule that you can only miss two practices. We have a split home so my son had to miss two practices to go see his dad( once a month). The last week of practice before the show( tech week) the practices are every day for 2-4 or 5 hours a day after school. This year on the Wednesday before the show our family found out about a very large tumor in our grandmothers head witch was very emotional. My son was late to the practice but did still make the practice. The following day I dropped him off at practice to get a nasty text from the director saying that I needed to pick up my son that he was kicked out of the show the day before opening night. Upon arriving I found my son sitting outside the door in tears because she had humiliated him and been very ugly to him. We were both treated like criminals and were not given the chance to explain or given grace due to the situation. It turned out that our grandmother has Glioblastoma witch is brain cancer. This director has not only hurt my son but since this has happened many parents have approached me and told similar stories of how she has been wicked and emotionally hurt many children in the program. I would NOT recommend taking your children here as long as Sandra Miller ( first year here) is the artistic director. I have heard many great things about San Angelo Dance Academy. That is where I will be taking my children from now on.
