I advise putting your child in another school if you care about their education and the ethical treatment of your student ... they extort money from students and parents alike ... when trying to resolve an issue staff is combative and argumentative.. Some members of the staff hold themselves in such high regard they think they have more authority over your student then you the parent .. not sure if its SAISD as a whole but I do know they way over step boundaries

Although I DO go to this school I am currently a sophomore in Central their spirit of this campus is very well attained in this school. The enthusiasm in this school is a delight to see and that not many high schools have this opportunities that central has. The main problem that I very well critique is their learning system and how things are planned out in Central, including the coaches teaching math subjects that they are not interested in nor care to teach the class mainly Math teachers it seems like and although I do not blame the instructors in our class that are supposed to represent the athletics; they do not do a very good job at teaching they are only there to get the money in their hands and to actually teach an athletics group not a group of students who want and need the enthusiasm in a core class just as much as they have it for the athletics team I do respect this school but mainly kids In my classes have the same problem including Pre-AP students and Im not even in AP classes I really hope Central and Mr.Waters realizes that coaches are meant for coaching not for instructing a class who most coaches dont care to even be there except for money. They have to be the inspiration if they are willing to take the time to teach for us students not for money. Hope some changes improve in this campus.. 1/5 stars

Teachers were amazing. Classmates were amazing. Administration and the cops they had? Sucked. Troubled kids need structure, love, amd encouragement. Not a serial number and a docket at juvenile hall. Looking at you, Squeek.
