My 8 year old son has been attending Master Carvin’s ATA school for almost 2 years now. My friend, whose son went to Master Carvin’s school when he was growing up, recommended it to me as the best school in San Angelo and she was right. This is a great place for kids to learn self-defense and life skills. Master Carvin is great with kids. He teaches them in a fun but professional manner. My son has made a lot of great friends here and has learnt and is learning not only about self-defense and marital arts but also about the importance of such qualities as integrity, loyalty, kindness, honesty and hard work. A year after my son started at this school I decided to join as well. This place is great for both kids and adults. Thank you Master Carvin for all you do for my son and all of your students!

I am a student of Master Carvins ATA martial arts school, and I currently hold the rank of “green belt with a yellow stripe for leadership”. I have been a student for over 6 months now, and I normally attend all 4 classes a week, plus the optional sparring class when my work/home schedule permits it. I can say with all honesty that this was the best choice for myself that I could have ever made. Master Carvin is an exceptional instructor, teacher, mentor and friend!
