It was a long process, and I anticipated that. Mikalah (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was spunky, friendly, and did an awesome job on my hair! I did a drastic change and am TOTALLY lovin it! Before and after pics below.

Right now it seems as if theyve been closed for the last week, not sure when they will open again. Ive gone in there several times I dont have to wait very long. be sure to call ahead and make an appointment its a lot easier. Ive had no problems with my hair had to go back in for a retouch once and they didnt make me pay extra. Students are usually friendly. Just make sure you tell me exactly what it is that you want maybe you can show a picture.

Don’t waste your time! They act like customers are an inconvenience to them. They make you sign in, wait and then they call you up to the desk only to tell you that they’re booked the rest of the day but they can accommodate you another time. Unprofessional and not worth the trouble — take your business elsewhere.

I called to ask about a service and they stated that they are fully booked. It was only 10am in the morning!

No one really knows what they’re doing, I get that it’s school but come on now how many clients have y’all had several of you guys should get it by now. I’ve been here a few time getting my hair colored and so far so good until June this lady messed my hair leaving me looking like a baboon. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and ended up receiving a massive mess my hair was to even straighten right she didn’t even fully blow dry it. I will not be going here anymore due to poor service.

FINALLY!! Makenzie did an absolutely perfect haircut for me. She listened to what I wanted and did just that. I hope I can keep track of her when she graduates! Thank you sooo much for fixing this frazzled mess! ❤️

They don’t know how to schedule appointment or write down the service you want this has happened on multiple occasions I feel as it is poor management

Absolutely horrible experience. My hair is not even close to what I requested. Next time I will pay the professionals . I was wrong to assume they knew what they were doing. They need more then 1000 hours of training.

My time at tcc was absolutely amazing! I felt I got all the education I needed and for sure got all the practice I needed! Would definitely recommend someone else to attend and be apart of the tcc family! It was definitely an experience I will never forget and definitely made some forever friends!

Guarantee of a good haircut, as teachers must check it first. $6. The beginners take longer so make sure you alot an hour for short haircut. Trimming long hair doesnt take long.

Shout out to Cassie!I first went to super cuts but there were 23 people ahead of me. So I made my way over here and they were busy too but Cassie was able to make time. She seemed very happy to do it and had a big smile. Cassie did an excellent job! She did exactly what I asked for, nothing more, nothing less. I got a V-cut and a trim. Listening is the best quality you can have and shes got it. She will do great in this field.

Loved it! These girls are very patient and do not act like they know what you already want. They listen to what you want and stick to it. Plus they are great conversationalist. Overall, will definitely support them everytime I need a haircut or makeup done.

My experience as an esthetician student at TCC was fun and memorable. I learned a lot starting from the first day I was there and enjoyed the extensive hands on experience throughout the program. I was able to build clientele as a student and gain real world knowledge of the industry. All of the instructors were helpful and communicated effectively. One of the best parts of the program was the opportunity for community service and fun in serving others through extra credit projects. I would recommend attending TCC if you are looking for a great cosmetology school in the west Texas area.

Butchered my pixie cut!!! i understand it is a school, however the student i had didnt even know what a pixie cut was. she had too little experience or knowledge to be cutting hair. she was very timid. it was loud, chaotic, and no one would listen to how i wanted my hair cut. Im now gonna have to shave it down and start over. wanted to save a little money, learned my lesson.

I went in for a dramatic haircut and they fit me in and did a fantastic job. I didnt mind the longer time to get my hair done because they were learning and it was a very complex style. I have never been disappointed and I was so happy with my happy with my hair that I got a manicure which was wonderful as well. You cannot beat the price on all the services and they are very sanitary and clean as well. The bathrooms were very well kept and clean as well. The vibe and environment is very appealing and professional. They do sell hair and nail products as well.

They do a great job! Its well worth the money. They are learning if you have a question or concern feel free to have your stylist call for there teacher. It really will help that stylist out later when they get a real job and someone wants a haircut similar to yours! All in all its been great and I love coming here. $6.00 for a haircut and a wash cant beat that with a stick. I appreciate it! Thank you guys. Tom ^.^

The staff is amazing and the students are always ready to listen to every single idea or thought to better their skills. Ive always walked away with exactly what I wanted and an amazing experience. I love going here and its so cheap since its just a school.

Do not recommend. Went in to get my hair bleached blonde, I naturally have brown hair. Not only did they absolutely kill my hair, I left with Stark white roots and yellow/red ends. Definitely not what I wanted. Now still, my ends are completely destroyed and NO dye will stick to them. Do not waste your money on a color.

Super cheap (6 bucks wash and cut). Instructor always present to make sure student are doing a good job. I came in with shoulder length hair and left with chin length hair with many many layers the student did such a good job she took a photo for her portfolio :)

I have been going here for over 2 years. I always ask for a mature, experienced woman. Then I stick with her. The service is always excellent. Get to know your stylist and the ladies at the front desk. Youll be fine.

Had my dreads dyed red and blue by Alex there today and I am very happy with the result. She was a great person and did a great job dyeing my hair!

Same girl does my hair every time. Does a great job. Instructors i know are polite and professional for the most part but there are student Instructors as well that still need a bit of training (or at least the one i observed). So if you have a problem talk it over with your stylist and have them get one of the older instructors.

Got a facial . So awesome

I made an appointment with a certain operator. I call to check on my appointment. They tell me she is not in that day. I reschedule for Saturday. I get there only to be informed that the operator is being sent home because she was 10 minutes late that day. I asked to speak to a supervisor. One comes out, reeking like cigarette smoke and tells me basically, too bad. We arent honoring your appt with this operator. This place is very disorganized and unconcerned about honoring appointments. I am going to give them one more chance to get it right, and if I am disappointed, Ill find another place to have my hair done. Im furious and highly dissatisfied with the way I was treated today.I returned on Nov 29 to get a hair color. I had a very pleasant experience and Jake Scott did a great job.

Not a friendly place, not a good experience. I felt like I was a bother to them, and my hair hasnt been styling correctly since I went. Only got a few words out of my stylist. Going back to the professionals who appreciate business.

I went to this place for years. Then last year, I went, and took my two small children, age 6 and 7. I sat them down where i could see them and got my hair cut. In an instant, they were gone, and I freaked out. I found them on the other side of the building near the entrance. I jerked them up and SWATTED THEM ON THEIR BUTTS. I had been terrified they had been kidnapped, and had assumed they had wandered off. Turns out, the woman who runs the place had made them change where they were sitting without even telling me. I was then ganged up on by her and another woman, and I was BANNED FOR LIFE, SIMPLY FOR SWATTING MY OWN CHILDREN ON THEIR BOTTOMS! So if you take your kids there, be sure to allow them to run wild and show them no discipline, or you may be banned too.

Well I came in about 8:30, because online it says they open at 8! I get here and they tell me I cant be seen til 9:30!! Thats ridiculous! They should post actual time they are available for beauty needs to the public; not class time for students. I have to take the bus; so now Ive wasted an hour out of my day; because the correct time wasnt posted. Hope this helps , you cant believe their post!!!

I went in there with a front and back picture of what i wanted and the girl just did what she wanted to do...she asked how long i wanted it and i told her shoulder length and she cut it reeeally short. I had long beautiful hair and now its missed up.

If you read the sign in sheet at the school there is a disclaimer that states that the people working on your servise are still students ect. I believe the Students do a fine job.
