We have 2 sons at Crown Point Junior Music Academy - we have been so pleased with all the teachers our kids have had. Ms. Mai, Ms. Macker, Ms. Tessaro-Love, and Ms. Sor. They are ALL first rate. We love the size of the school and the emphasis on music. Kids dont have to participate in the music programs but there are so many great options - why not? Both of our boys now play violin and recorder and one is starting to learn to play guitar. The other one wants to start piano this year. They even have an after school rock band. We have also been very pleased with the after school program, Connect the World, which focuses on other cultures. Its reasonably priced and our kids love it. Its our neighborhood school and we were hesitant at first to try CPJMA but decided to take a chance - so glad we did. We have made lifelong friends, along with our kids!Hope you give it a chance too.

We have moved elementary schools a couple times and landed here at crown point. I’m so happy we did!! Each year gets better and better. Each year we have had the kindest most dedicated teachers. The Principal, Mr. Lopez and the office staff is always kind, considerate and caring. The after school program is also really great. My son has truly thrived at this school and I cannot say enough good things! Very impressed! Thank You for doing what you do!

Difficult Location for Poll Site VotingThis elementary school agreed to open its auditorium for Californias Super Tuesday Presidential Primary voting. The restrooms were made nearly impossible to use conveniently, as poll workers needed to do during lulls in voter attendance. Better, more mannerly voting locations also allow voters access to restrooms. One office staffer made an insulting ageist comment to a senior poll worker, Arent you wearing Depends?

The principal is RACIST, you can say what you want but my daughter is mixed and she IS nice to me, iffy with my daughter and will NOT make eye contact at all with my black husband! Its 2017, this school needs a new Principal. She runs away the GOOD AFTER school program faculty as well! If theyre Black she just finds ways to downgrade them by telling lies. I will not allow my child to grow up at such a school who allows the leader to be racist.

Our family chose to live in the Crown Point neighborhood for this school and we are so happy! This small magnet music school serves grades Pre K-5. My son has been attending this school for two years now and loves it. He especially loved his first grade teacher this year, Mrs. Tessaro-Love, who has been teaching at this school for many years and sends her own children to this school. The unique violin music program offered to every student was a life changing experience for our family this year. My first grader can play multiple songs after just one year, that is amazing to me. Mr Luchs, the violin instructor, is an expert at teaching these young minds to play the suzuki method. The school has a family feel to it and all the staff and teachers treat my child as their own. The principal Mr. Lopez is very invested and dedicated to making this school great. The rearranging of classes this past year caused some unsettled parents and he took the time to listen to each parent, including myself, and was thoughtful and kind in response. The Three Treasures after school program that my son has been in for two years has taught him life skills as well as meditation, patience and is passionate about teaching the kids about developing good character. We cant say enough good things about this school!

That was a very good school called “Crown Point Elementary School” and also that was awesome and they know how to act and we are awesome over there and I had some of the problems over there and it was good directions and that needs to have your body listening and just like level 0 is no sound, level 1 is whispering and it was just like the music was pianissimo and 2 is piano, level 3 voice is like forte and level 4 is like fortissimos and also 5 is extremely fortissimos and that is what it was and also walking speeds is like walking tempos and also level 0 is rest and level 1 is adagio, level 2 is andantino, level 3 is allegretto and level 4 is allegro and also level 5 is presto and also level 6 is prestissimo and that is what it should go by like the music does and if you walk in the hallway, classroom or from recess to lunch or lunch to recess, you need to be at adagio or andantino and also on the grass field or dirt field, it would be like allegro to prestissimo and also when your teacher is talking, you needed to be at no sound and also no fortissimos, fortissimo and also no forte and the loudest needs to be at piano and that is what it needs to be at when you were in classrooms, only teachers needs to talk like piano to fortissimos and that is how the voice goes and there is also music lessons and P.E. in there and also there is speech and O.T. in there also and that is a very awesome school and I was there for summer school and that is the extended school year and also my class is the best class now and it serves from TK-5th grades and I am a good 5th grade student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Incredible music based curriculum. The Hawaiian Band Pepper recently went thru educating kids about recycling, reducing, reusing, hydration. Refitted entire school with water fountains equipped to refill water bottles, & they gave everyone a reusable drinking water bottle for personal use!!! Aloha Nui Loa Cuznz!
