My daughter was Iris student at Little Footprints Preschool. She was an energetic teacher who balanced learning and playing very well. When she opened Cheerful Mandarin, my two kids attended her winter camp and even though it was a short 3 day camp, they came home smiling cheek to cheek every day and were eager to return the next day. Iris was very thoughtful when designing her program and curriculum. The children felt engaged and stimulated. You know you have found a special place for your children when they want to be back again and again! And when you pick them up at the end of the day, they have no desire to leave. This summer, they will attend Iris summer camps and we are looking forward to more fun!!! Keep up the good work, Iris!

Our son goes here. Its great. The teachers are great. They have great and fun curriculum with great activities.

We know of Hsu Lao Shi (Iris) from Little Footprints prior to her opening Cheerful Mandarin. We wanted to continue our son’s learning of Mandarin and had seen a noticeable decline in his language skills after leaving LFP. Since he has been at Cheerful Mandarin his Mandarin has improved beyond the level it had been at before. And most important was he is interested in speaking Mandarin again. Hsu Lao Shi’s after school program is project based with different aspects of learning Mandarin focused on different days of the week. She is very energetic, really connects with the kids and tailors her approach for each individual child And as parents, we feel she listens to what we want from a language program and incorporates our input to teaching our son. We would strongly recommend Cheerful Mandarin to anyone looking for a quality Mandarin program for their children.
