Marin Day Schools at Fremont Street is an excellent pre-k school. I’ve had 2 children attend, several years apart, and this program has prepared them well for Kindergarten. They have a beautiful, airy space and a private rooftop playground with a climbing structure, sandlot, and small garden. Their director has been there a long time and works hard to ensure that the program maintains its high teaching standards. My children loved their time there.

My 5 yr old has been excited literally every day to go to school. The teachers are fantastic, communicative and genuinely love kids. We could not be happier with the staff and environment. We feel that our preschooler is prepared for kindergarten and can only hope that he feels the same way about his new school in the fall.

MDS Fremont Street opened up again in September 2020 after being shut down in March 2020 with the Stay-at-Home order. We had never seen the place but were assured by other parents. We were also assured by the COVID protocols because Bright Horizons (affiliated with MDS) had open sites the entire time for essential workers during the pandemic closure. We were hesitant but knew that our preschooler needed to go to school. Off he went on the first day of pre-K and an academic year later, it’s wonderful seeing him get excited about going to school. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. Everyday our son teaches us about what hes learned at school. We’re very thankful to Elizabeth, Roxann, and Megan.

Our daughter loves it here, and the community of parents and teachers is equally wonderful.
