While there were many take-aways from the course, I really valued the section focusing on communications vis-à-vis Voices and Presence. The way the topics were covered made me learn more about being attuned to my present situation or where nonverbal cues can be a tell for the person you are communicating with. I also gained from learning about the voice rankings: Connector, Pioneer, Nurturer, Creative, or Guardian. Moreover, I appreciated being introduced to DISC personality profiles (consisting of dominant, influencing, steady and compliant). Interestingly, I learned that we are all a blend of these styles. With my new understanding of personality & communication styles (with thanks to Bootcamp and Bradys effective teaching approach), I hope to be a more effective and present person in not only working environments, but also in social and personal settings.

Unfortunately for me, my laptop was working at the pace of a snail...and I was on the verge of purchasing a new computer. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Brady Helkenn and he suggested that hed be able to clear out unneeded files and applications and get my computer back up to speed...I was slightly doubtful, as I regularly clear out those unwanted files and things on my own...however, I was down to about 10 gigs of available space and that makes for a lot of spinning wheels when working in photo processing applications, so I was desperate. He was able to come to my location on both occasions and was quick and efficient...after less than 3 hours, I had more than 70 gigs of available space! I was ready to send my Chromebook back for being useless (It could see the working wireless network, but refused to connect unless I reset it entirely) but I made an appointment with BH Tech. Brady came right on time for my appointment, and was able to quickly determine that manually adjusting my settings would get my chromebook to play nice with my older Airport router. Since my appointment, Ive had no trouble and am using my working laptop to write this review! I was very happy with the work done.
