Super rude. I paid for my wife to go and dance and after 80 minutes of waiting outside I needed to go to the rest room. They refused to let me in. What?

Rhythmn and Motion is the best dance and cardio workout Ive ever experienced. The joy of dance and exercise among the students and staff is motivational and the community really cares and supports each other. It is non-judgmental. No body cares if you walk into a wall or move the wrong direction. There is no better place to get in tune with your body and movement. Rhythmn and Motion classes give you energy for your day to come alive and thrive.

Loving the ODC zoom dance classes. Ive taken some ballet from Marika Brussel and Chris Lam and one modern dance class so far. Excellent teachers and zoom is working great. Silver lining of the pandemic is that so many great classes are online now. (Normally I wouldnt have the time to travel to take class there.)

Disorganized…waited 50 minutes for dance class. Couldn’t get a refund so I just left empty handed.

I eagerly pray the day will come soon that this place goes bankrupt and permanently shuts down.I forgive Carlos Lopez for what I endured under his supervision. I see now what must have been his tremendous fear of having to make probation at work coupled with his ego led to a work environment wherein nothing was his fault. I wish to give back to him his profound insecurities, his wrongdoings, his mistakes, and his disillusions he projected on to me. I hope to erase from memory his disclosures about inappropriate videos he saved on his home computer saved in such a way no one could find them. I have never met a more disgusting and narcissistic thing. I believe I am in a long list of people when I say I hope to never, ever met another person like him as long as I live.

ODC has so many classes for anything youd like to experiment with. This was important especially when I was a newbie dancer. Its really an institution and its hard to find comparable offerings in even bigger cities. The facilities are nice and look pro and the Rhythm & Motion dance workout is a great way to get cardio and learn dance in a no pressure zone with multiple offerings per week you can jump into. If you want true dance classes and workshops where you learn a set choreography for the entire class, youll find it here too.

Absolutely love this institution for the classes variety, for the professionalism of the teachers.Staff: the receptionist are friendly and very helpful.Classrooms: very well lit and spacious.Class: some classes might get crowded but all attendants are friendly should you dance and bump.Cleanliness: with the amount of people attending its quite good.

Took Hip Hop Fit with Mike... it was simply amazing. The instructor does not work off of 8 counts. He simply demonstrates the move and you follow. Simple enough. I havent followed choreography in years but this was great. Recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and intense workout. O... and be ready for some serious pushups, planks and crunches.

The salsa classes here are a blast, and theres a class for every comfort level. I usually buy a five-pack, which is $65. So worth it. Sometimes you go to a salsa club and pay cover and take a rubbish class beforehand. Here, you pay but you get great instructors, you learn a lot, and you have a ton of fun. The crowd that comes tends to be super fun, too. Once a month or so, the open up as a salsa party after class. Why not try it? First-timers get their first class for $5!

I love ODC dance and especially Micayas hip hop class on Saturdays at 12noon. Shes so dedicated, and the class, moves, and structure are consistent. You learn a short dance, and really get some hip hop dance experience. Shes also a really good teacher. I highly recommend it for beginners to intermediate. Its fun and a good work out. You can go anytime, and its kind of always there and always the same experience.

I saw a dance show here and it was a perfect venue. Its small and intimate so there are no bad seats. The space lends itself to making the audience become part of the performance. I cant wait to come back to see another show.

The class pass here got me back into dance. The front desk people were very accommodating when I got sick and allowed me to extend the pass so I wasnt wasting money. This place has a wonderful variety of classes and allowed me to try all different styles.

Ive visited here only for Saturday night swing dancing (The Rent Party), so do understand that I havent taken the regular classes. With that said, heres what I like and dont like:LIKES:- Couches are cozy.- Dance floors are spacious.- Whole place feels clean and safe inside.- Theres $2 parking nearby (at least on Sat nights)- Good sound system.DISLIKES:- Check-in is often slow; last night, it took me more than 10 minutes and I was late for my class.- Feels a little bit sterile.

Don’t come to the Friday “Salsa Multi-level” if youhave some dance experience. r. I dance competitional Latin ( cha cha cha rumba etc ) and thought I’d do one class with my mum (she is a serious dancer too) when she is in-town. Since I’ve nener taking their Salsa class before They sent me to the beginner level class (although we signed up for open level ) and I ended up left early after stepping in a circle with people. I think there a difference in “beginner “ vs “first timer”. If you send people to beginner class don’t call your class “open “ level.

This is a review of Salsa Rueda @ ODC. I rarely write negative reviews because obviously my experience is subjective but teaching is a huge responsibility. Majority of us (if not all of us) learn salsa rueda @ ODC not to become professional dancers but to have fun, to meet people, to learn new skills, and to be part of the community and because of that I give this place one star. Many of the instructors here are very good, professional, and encouraging. Unfortunately a few bad apples is enough to ruin someones confidence. And thats what a co-organizer of this group does. I really appreciate when people care about what they do but its really evil when caring becomes bullying. The whole point of teaching is to encourage students to do more to take risks to succeed. Unfortunately here @ ODC the approach is different they encourage you take classes you do not need just tp make more money and they discourage you from advancing and learning new things.
