What a wonderful neighborhood staple school. The teachers and principal used to be the best. I am not sure.about now. In the early 2000s Carver was awesome..

Great school with excellent teachers. Principal Mr Stewart is awesome and also our great Secretary Crystal White...love this school. Kindergarten thru fifth grade....

Teachers care about equity and community- love the Carver Village

I would not let my student or child go here. There are NOT quality teachers teaching every grade. The principal yells at kids daily! There are shootings every other week or so, and the staff that really is invested in the students have been asked to leave or resigned. This school is the only one I have ever seen function like this SFUSD. I would only put my kids in the YMCA program the have after school and thats only cause Aja is the dirctor. She will make sure your kids are safe and learning...besides that I have had kindergarten who dont know there ABC who are passed to first. First grades who read at lower level and then it gets worse from there. At fifth grade they may have a chance again with the great teachers they have this year...and there new PE and garden teacher.
