First I want to say I HIGHLY recommend Adelina as a Spanish teacher. She is patient, kind, extremely intelligent and offers fun easy ways to learn Spanish. It isnt always easy learning a new language and sometimes it can be frustrating. Adelina gives great tools that are fun and easy to use for learning. Also Adelina helps me to reset when I get frustrated with myself. She has a way of showing me that I have accomplished a lot and helps me to then build my self esteem while learning this new language.She gives homework which I like because it keeps me practicing between our lessons. She has great ways for incorporating Spanish into your daily life. We laugh a lot too. That is important to me. Learning something new to me needs to be relaxed and fun. Adelina is an engaging woman who takes her job of teaching Spanish seriously, yet with humor and compassion. She is good at adjusting to the level of the student and gives excellent instruction on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. She teaches the Spanish of Spain in contrast to that of Latin America. I am retired and studying Spanish to improve my mind, but I believe Golden Gate to Spanish would be particularly good for a business person who wants to use Spanish in the context of their job, or for someone who wants to pass a standard examination in Spanish competency, as well as someone who just wants to learn the language for its own sake.

I have been taking private lessons via Google Meet with Adeline and each class is organised and personalized for me. Adelina takes your learning style into account and tailors lessons for that. She is very patient, kind and overall a wonderful teacher. She is also very encouraging throughout the class and takes time to explain grammar - once, twice or thrice if needed! I recommend classes with Adelina if youre wanting one on one Spanish lessons where you learn at your pace with lots of support.

I have been taking semi-private Spanish classes with Adelina for 1.5 years. The progress we made is huge.
