I grew up speaking a bit of Mandarin but havent spoken in a while and definitely need more vocab practice.(+) a variety of levels. I think Im in a bit of a lower level for what I should be, but Im still learning here and there and its good fundamental practice.( ) Note: I did think I was going to be learning to read and write, but this is just speaking and listening with a bit of pinyin. I think pinyin is pretty useless and never learned it growing up, but it is what it is.(+) Small, intimate class sizes. I really like all of my classmates.(+) Good teachers - I can really only speak to my one teacher, but hes super patient, funny, and I really enjoy his classes.(+) Affordable. Im doing a M/W class that is 1.5 hours for a month and it was $290. Not too bad.Already registered for the next level of classes next month.
