I enjoyed teaching at this school from 2008-16. Like any middle school, this place will have some ups and downs but overall the students and staff are friendly and dedicated to learning. They also have an awesome band, put on inspiring plays, and have the best soccer coach in the city.

Yall from the perspective of a student that has gone to James Lick from 6-8.... DONT GO HERE. The school environment is definitely poor. The school is in desperate need for a team of role models to influence both Spanish and non Spanish speaking students. If that were to actually happen, we would be able to get back field trips, funding, spirit weeks. However, what we dont need, are people who try and make this school better but DONT understand the school.
