Another year ! With all the pandemic and difficult times , I’m grateful of all the new ways Mrs Cindy and staff used this year to keep the place clean , sanitized , but most important FUN ! My daughter would not have it any other way , she loves it . If you are looking for your kid to be awarded for hard work and dedication while making it a fun environment this is the place. If you are looking to satisfied your childhood needs and relive them through your kids without any constructive criticism , this is not for you. My daughter is on her 6th year , and she looks forward to 2021/22. She’s never been what some call in some reviews “Favorites” but like I said that’s not why she goes there for . She goes there to learn , become better , and have fun . Mrs. Cindy and staff keep on Dancing it away and look forward to year 7 ....

*First, please note, many of these reviews with 5 stars are for the event facility - not the actual dance studio for children; otherwise, the review score would be much lower.Cindy is rude and unprofessional. I was certain I had to pull my daughter out of any class of Cindys in order to protect her and make sure Cindy didnt ruin dance for my daughter. Separately, both my childs father and I were completely thrown off guard by Cindys bizarre communication style regarding my childs behavior. Cindy made it a mission to loudly, unprofessionally, and in front of the other parents, point out that our daughter was not paying attention on 1 occasion last year. Then we heard nothing more until the start of this year and didnt notice any behavior that was noticeable compared to the other 4 year olds in class. Then this year, Cindy made it a personal mission on the first day of class to run over to me 3 times to point out my daughters behavior in the same unprofessional and rude fashion. She never said hi to us and didnt focus on much else during class. Cindy painted my daughter out to be bad and behind. My daughter loves to dance.After that incident and now that we have found another dance studio, Edge in Lake Mary, that is actually FUN for kids, no wonder why our daughter who is normally well behaved was bored in class. It was a completely different dance experience and the teachers at Edge knew how to keep the childrens attention with fun games while learning that dance is fun. It was clear, I agree with the other comments about favorites, I am glad I got to see Cindys unpleasant behavior before my daughter got too far into her studio. I danced for 15 years and would suggest that the teachers should have the capability of disciplining a 4 year old and some training rather than texting Cindy in the middle of class like its the end of the world if a 4 year old isnt at Juilliard level. Even her final email was rude when I politely asked her to disregard our registration- to get her final word in. Miss Cindy was incredibly OBNOXIOUS.This is my first bad experience with a teacher. My childs grandparents who witnessed Cindys behavior and we as parents agreed, that if Cindy had no problem talking to adults the way she did, we were worried about the damage she would do to our daughter. We moved on to a friendly and encouraging environment with relief and peace.

Cindy and her team are kind, conscientious, and run classes and events with firm and appropriate discipline. The studio is absolutely beautiful, clean and well-kept, nestled in a charming section of historic Downtown Sanford. We came back after being gone a few years, and were welcomed with open arms and warm smiles... Cindys is the best!!

My daughter danced there and it was such a horrible experience she quit 10 years of dance and felt like it ruined her passion completely for dance. Cindy is perfect in her own world!!! Picking favorites and yelling at the students VERY rudely! My youngest now 9 dances at Focus off Reinhardt Rd is AMAZING!!! Dont go to Cindys unless you like to be abused and treated terribly!!!! God help the kids that still go there!!!

My daughter is now in her second year of dance at Cindys. I will tell you, Ms. Cindy is very organized and puts together a very memorable recital at the end of each school year. Great confidence builder for young kids! Highly recommend!

I went here for a few years when I was younger, it left such a lasting impression I’m coming back at 22 to leave a review. I had a very bad home life and it reflected on my personality as a young child. It was obvious I was crying out for attention and had issues adjusting to anything. I was belittled so much while training at this studio my self esteem was 0. Cindy had favorites and it was obvious who they were and if you weren’t one of them you didn’t matter. I learned more from a teacher here that sat down and ordered you around all through the class than her I quit dance because of this studio. Something I had been doing for over 10 years. Do not take your children here there are places with much more experience that would be better with cultivating a love for dance this studio killed mine.

I wouldn’t even give it 1 star, but I had to to leave this review. Rude obnoxious mean and just nasty the owner and teachers... especially the owner. My daughter was crying because she was screamed at by the owner. Never will I recommend this place nor ever return. Be careful because they treat kids and parents rudely. At first things will seem good then the true face of the owner shows. I witnessed parents leaving and not bringing their children anymore because of how they were treated. So be careful if you go here.

I wouldn’t dare recommend this place to any one. The faculty is nice but the owner is a very rude and nasty individual. This is not someone you would want to do business with AT ALL! I wouldn’t even give it a one star but I had to inorder to leave a review.

I am rating this venue as a rental for private events. I would highly recommend the space. Cindy was professional and a pleasure to work with. The room was clean, dignified and a perfect fit for our farewell party of about 120 people. The entrance is nice and there is a wonderful space upstairs with wing back chairs and a chandelier which is ideal for serving hors doeuvre and drinks.

Hello F family and friends would like to share my experience with cydney dance studio owner in Sanford Florida ...my wife contacted Cydney in regrads to her rental of her studio top and bottom Cydney agreed and appeared to be a very nice business like lady..We came in to make last payment and Cydney appear to be someone totally different attitude was very rude and disrespectful Cindy also went back on agreement that we had made for top and bottom allowing us only to use the top.... Being very confrontational saying the top and bottom was never allowed to be used I went back and forth with her telling her I have been there and it was used besides that was something she agreed on she began to say someone must have broke into her bottom building as we went back and forth a Caucasian couple walked in she immediately left us sitting and cater to them as far as showing building and going over contact.. at this point there was no way I could have changed my location of my reception so I had no choice but continue with Cydney dance studio at the time of our reception which time frame was 9am until midnight.. during the reception Cydney stayed downstairs in her office and watch the entire reception from her phone she came upstairs and embarrassed me with my guess by having an argument with one actually clapping her hands in her face also she accused one of my guests as sexual harassing her after making the comment she was flirting with him then she actually had the policeman come out and end my reception early!!The feeling I have for that day is unbearable that was a very special day for me and my wife and it basically was ruined we were lied to disrespected in so many ways!!! This is something I dont want to happen to no one else please share we need to put a stop so this type of behavior we paid our money and wanted to be treated fair!! I recommend this building to NO ONE if so make sure your contract States everything she told you PLEASE DO NOT take her word!!!!!! This lady is horrible disrespectful and very rude once shes paid in full please share This information needs to get out Im sure Im not the only one!!!
