Great place! Everyone is up to help you learn, not only the coaches. Stay fit and learn to defend yourself in the process.

I have been attending Jungle MMA in lake Mary for a few months now. The coaching and the culture at this location is phenomenal! Coach Brian, Coach Jen and Coach Drew are all amazing coaches who push you to get better every single day whether you are just beginning or looking to compete at a high level. If you have ever been intimidated to join an MMA gym this is the one to join. Everyone is extremely helpful from the coaches to all the training partners. Let’s go JUNGLE!

Ive been going to Jungle for a little while now, so I wanted to leave a review. The number one thing about this place is how welcoming they are. From Coach Brian to Jenn, all the way down to the blue belts. Everyone gives great feedback and ways to improve both in and out of the gym. Im a big, out of shape guy and still feel like Im able to fit in and learn.Ive only been going to BJJ classes so Ill only comment on those (this gym offers Jungle Fit and Muay Thai as well), but while the beginner classes focus on the fundamentals, even the regular classes are accessible to new people. Coach Brian offers scaled movements for people that arent ready for more complex passes or defenses, while still pushing the skill level for the upper belts.Big thing to remember if youre going to try this place, is your first year if not two is going to be mostly you learning how to survive, and getting tapped by everyone else. Use it as a learning opportunity and dont think of it as getting beaten or defeated.Im having a great time so far and hope to continue into the future.

Over the past 2 & 1/2 years I’ve been at the Jungle I have never had a problem with any other athletes, coaches, or the way the curriculum* is set. In fact, I’ve never been more happy with myself than when I joined! That’s right though, there is a curriculum! A full system on how classes are taught and later tested on technique and skill retention. On top of a killer fight team, for those who aren’t interested in fighting in the ring there is a curriculum that the coaches use to improve a member’s ability to progress. It’s not one of your typical martial arts gyms where they teach you one technique and let you go at it and whoever survives is basically the best. There’s camaraderie here, insightful & motivational coaches, and even the ability to impress yourself by how much you can do lies within the walls of the Jungle. The best thing I did in my collegiate years was walk in through those doors Summer of 2018.I’ve embarked on a journey I don’t ever think will stop. There is no finish line, and I’m okay with that. In fact I wouldn’t have it any other way. Not only does going to the Jungle improve physique, overall fitness, strength and cardio, but there is a spiritual aspect to the arts that follows as you progress through and overcome the mental challenges many people face. All I have to say is if you’re in the area, drop in and try a class out. Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu classes are run by exceptional instructors with real-life, applicable techniques and not just fragmented skills taught here and there. I can’t wait for the years to come at this place. You won’t find anything like The Jungle in the area.- Gabe GallardoUCF Alum

Reached out for info to join, received a generic text to come in same day. Replied and said I chose elsewhere as I wanted a more personalized experience (hence the goal of ‘personal goals). Received more advertising via text. On 2/21 asked to be removed from their text solicitation. Received two more lengthy texts in weekly intervals for two weeks. Sent another message asking them to stop. They could then start personalizing texts to be sarcastic, sending 2 text messages after I specifically just asked them to remove me from their text message distribution and move on. I literally said, ‘Don’t text me again.’ I got two more personal messages. Extremely antagonistic and violating of boundaries. I explored 12 other gyms in the area, no biggie None of them displayed this high of a level of unprofessionalism. Actually, ALL of them are professional, supportive and empowering. Their conduct is intrude and disrespectful. Their final response was asking me if I ‘gave permission’ to receive correspondence (with some embedded sarcasm of course). Anyone knows that the minute someone asks you not to send them texts, you stop doing it. At that point it is unsolicited advertising, it’s intrusive, displays blatant disregard for boundaries, and is unprofessional. Very poor professionalism ‘behind the scenes’ when I guess they think their supporters are not watching, never mind a sense of community. I shrugged off the sarcastic additional texts sent, but thought I’d share

I dont write reviews often, if at all. But after 2 great years at The Jungle, I feel obligated to take a moment to recommend this gym and Coach Brian. He is not only an encyclopedia of jiu-jitsu, but an all-around great person to be around.I had recently hit 40 and just fed up with being so inactive, I literally pulled into the place and signed up for a year. Now, Ive visited bjj gyms around the world, and feel lucky to call The Jungle home.

My family and I joined the Jungle a few months ago! I cannot say enough good things about this gym and the amazing coaches here!! Coach Brian is wonderful with the Little Gorillas class. It took my girls a few weeks to warm up to the classes, but now they love them! I have been taking the Cage Fitness classes and Coach Adel is so encouraging and motivating! I actually want to go to class!! If you are looking for a great place to go workout then the Jungle MMA is it! I do not regret joining this awesome gym one bit!!

I started BJJ 7 months ago at Jungle MMA-Lake Mary and Ive had a great experience so far. I usually go to the Tuesday and Thursday 11 am BJJ classes, which are taught by Coach Brian. Brian is very nice and approachable, and is very thorough in teaching all the details of each move. The daytime group is relatively small (5-10 people usually) so theres a lot of individual attention. We also have a pretty wide variety of ages (from college age to 60s), so I think its a great fit for a lot of people. I highly recommend Jungle MMA.

My 14 yr old son, 13 yr old daughter, and I all attend The Jungle MMA and Fitness. I LOVE the coaches and owners! They are very personable, family focused, and honestly care about each member. I have learned self defense through the Brazilian jujitsu classes, and lost over 25 pounds in 3 months with the Cage Fit classes! This is the only gym for my family!

Weird gym , in order for me to try a class I had to pay $20 ... Not even knowing if Id like it or not , other places give you a free classResponse to owner: I would have loved to try it , looked like a great gym, but Im not paying just to try a class I could potentially not even like when other gyms allow you to try the class for free.

As a member of the Jungle Nation. Im so happy that they have opened up a location closer to my home. The classes and instruction are just as awesome as the main downtown location...I just want to thank the Jungle Ownership for opening this location as it will help supplement my current training regiment with more classes.

Been training here for a total of over a year. By far one of the best gyms Ive trained in. Legit strength and conditioning, BJJ, and Muay Thai instructors / professors! This place has a great environment whether youre training to fight in the ring, compete on the mats, get into shape, or just handle yourself on the streets! Definitely come check it out!

I really cant say enough about the staff, coaches and culture at The Jungle. For many, its difficult to try something new. When that something new is martial arts, it can be even more intimidating for a child or even an adult. When you first walk into The Jungle, you feel welcome. Everyone is friendly, helpful and there to learn. The coaching is outstanding and you always learn something new whether it be in Jiu-Jitsu or Mauy Thai. And if fitness is your thing and you dont want to get into the combat sports, Cage Fit is a great alternative to the typical gym experience. 5 stars all the way!

I am a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and former school owner from Pa and recently moved to Lake Mary about 4 months ago. I thought it would be tough moving to this area and finding a new school to train. The Jungle MMA has made it real easy. With great instruction and friendly atmosphere they are the best school around. Proud to be part of the family!

If you’re interested in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, or MMA. This school is the place. The atmosphere here is very inviting and non-judgemental. All skill levels and other martial arts are welcomed, too. The instructor is very humble and explains the techniques in great detail. He is able to answer any questions about jiu-jitsu or MMA you may have. I’m glad my family and I are able to be part of a great school with a great team. GO JUNGLE!!!

Im only 20 years old since i gained weight about a year now i honestly went to planet fitness,LA fitness, even a private gym and i didnt loose weight I needed a Trainer to teach me how to do it right and motivate me to keep going but they can be a lil expensive until a week ago I found out about TheJungle MMA &Fitness honestly i felt in love the first day I went, even though I was so sore the next day couldnt even get up the next morning lol but this gym has more then 1 trainer to help you and is so fun and theirs alot of motivation and never gets boring. Honestly I recommend this to anyone out there thats trying to loose weight and stay fit and if i knew about this place a long time ago i wouldve saved myself time and money and you actually pay less than what you would  pay a trainer at a regular gym.. I Love It 😍🏋🏅🏆
