My experience with Highland has been great. I believe the staff really try to work with the students and their individual needs. Mr. Graham is probably one of the best principals I have come across in a long time. I dont feel you can go wrong with having your child become a Viking.

Fantastic school! The principal really cares about all of his students. The teachers and counselors care too and go out of their way to help the the students be successful.

The school is new with very good teachersThe team for the state competition came 5. At the individual level our kid received 1st at state competition in her category.

Love the middle school, I used to go there the teachers are great and so is the principal

Im only giving 3 stars due to my experience with Ms. Edwards. It does not surprise me that there is a negative review concerning her already. I had to fight until the middle if the school year to transfer my son out of her class, and to another team. She is a horrid human who has no business working with children. She treats the kids terribly, ridicules students who do not comprehend, and refuses to teach them. She has thrown objects, and books at students, called them names, and is very abusive. It took a lot for me to get my son pulled from her, however, after fighting half the year, and a call to the BOE, and speaking to Mr. Graham and counselors, they finally switched his team to Mrs. Heimann, and Mr. Mandall. I am very grateful for these two teachers, and Mr. Graham for finally allowing him to switch. He is progressing more than ever, and these teachers are beyond amazing!!! I truly cannot put into words how thankful i am to have my son in their classes. They make learning fun, they are thorough, patient, and they are the true definition of educators. Aside from.our negative experience with that particular teacher, Id say Highland is a great school with great staff.

The teachers are very rude expecially ms Edward in 6th grad and she teaches us scianc 1nc a month and I have stress I was using a stress toy and my teacher took it. And the student handbook said that all items takin must be reterned by the end of the day and she did not return my item.
