My daughter first started attending in k4 2 years ago and now I have all my 3 children there (Grades 7, 1 and k4). They LOVE IT!!! The staff members are very friendly and the curriculum is great. My kids are actually excited to learn their bible verses and I couldnt be more pleased. I am very thankful to have found this school!

This is a Christian school by name only. I truly am not certain who checks into a schools qualification to be labeled Christian - but this school definitely needs to be re-evaluated.Our child was told if they need to fall asleep at night not to read a book that will interest them but to grab the Bible because it is boring. Are you kidding me. Pretty shallow relationship with Christ if that is the teachers view and belief of the Word of God.Bible class in elementary consist of the teacher doing a devotional with the class. They use A Beka which is an amazing curriculum and the teacher does their own devotional not consistently I might add.The leadership was approached several time about issues - they were dismissed and no change was made. The students and teacher alike used Gods name in vain and the kids were told to shut up. You are not allowed to visit the classrooms on a drop in basis - the teachers need to be prepared and waiting for your visit. Im sorry, dropping in is my right as a parent to make sure things are being done in a orderly fashion. Our childs teacher was one of the most unprepared individuals I have EVER encountered. I dont believe this teacher will return next year - the class was told I cant wait for this school year to be over...because you all are ridiculous! How awful!!! Never did get to see this teachers qualifications or certificate for teaching. Food for thought ... make sure you get to see that if you dare put your child here.I would encourage anyone looking at this school to reconsider your choice. For $425 a month are child is not only behind but very discouraged about school. Oh, and dont pay the $125 field trip fee ... our childs class didnt go on but one field trip and it didnt cost $125! Terribly disappointed in this school - a charter school or public school would serve you better. Christ was NOT glorified here on any level. This was a babysitting service at best. Zero stars would have been more appropriate. Our child will not be back.

Both of my sons graduated from Liberty Christian School. LCS provided for them a good Christian education with a solid academic foundation. They both went on to graduate from college and are productive citizens of society with a heart for God. I highly recommend the school to any parent who wants their student to experience a wonderful Christian environment with high academic standards.

Words just cannot totally express how I feel about Liberty Christian School. Traditional family values with good discipline and a wonderful curriculum. Caring, thoughtful, loving teachers and administration. A laid back, family atmosphere where Jesus, God, courtesy, honor, respect and integrity mean something.I can hardly believe my children are writing fluently in cursive in 1st and 2nd grade! So touching to see that as part of their classes...and phonics too. Brings tears of joy to my eyes!Finding this school was like finding a hidden treasure. We have toured, tested for and visited so many other schools in search of the right fit. We have attended different schools along the way, also. FINALLY, the search is over. Knowing my children can attend through 12th grade is also very comforting. My children even just had the privilege of riding on their school float in the local Christmas parade last weekend. And our float was voted #1! Melts my heart.Oh...and their art, music and sports programs are fantastic too...among the many other subjects and offerings. Every opportunity is presented to create successful, well rounded students. If this stirs something in you...please...for your childrens sake...call the school and check it out. This school could very well be the answer to your fervent prayers too. It is a breath of fresh air and very heavy weights lifted for my family. :)

Our experience at this school was far more than disappointing. 1st review ever for me and I dont like that it has to be a not so great one. Just please research, research, research your child’s teacher and school thoroughly before hand.I choose this school because of the positive reviews and smaller classes with hopes that this would be the last school my daughter would attend before college.I was taken back with the teacher being a 1st year teacher although I still had faith thinking along the lines of because she was new she would then do everything by the book. Upon arriving at open house my daughter and I noticed there were Clips for classroom behavior in which I thought was childish. The bathroom procedure was discussed as there was no bathroom in the classroom therefore it was understood that there would be set times to use the restroom. There were 2 times when my daughter mentioned she was not allowed to go the bathroom and the 2nd time I addressed it with the teacher. The conversation between the teacher and I went well although there were a lot of she does this, she did that, she does this and that concerning my daughters’ behavior. I couldn’t understand why was it now being brought to my attention as all lines of communication with myself were open per the app the teacher recommended Classtree, email, notes and or phone call. The teacher agreed that there will then be an alternative to the bathroom if a student must go during lesson and outside of the scheduled bathroom time; more laps in the yard as there was not an alternative before. I thought GREAT, my child is in dance this would build her endurance if anything. I apologized to the teacher for my daughters’ behavior in addition to having my child write an apology letter. My last draw is now today as I have not allowed my daughter to participate in a field trip. It was explained to the teacher through the Classtree app that I wasn’t going to allow my child to participate in an activity outside of school if I could not trust her behavior inside of school. My daughter than told me the very week of the field trip that she was supposed to stay home if she was not attending. I then addressed the teacher and asked if this was true; teachers’ response (I am so sorry it took long for me to get back to you! It’s been a busy day! Yes, if a student is not going on the field trip he or she has to stay home) I then responded and asked was there some type of notification, letter sent home or phone call that I had missed? I received no response. The day of the field trip I arrived to the school and spoke with the1st adult I seen whom was the 4th grade teacher, whom also advised me that this was policy was true although she had called her parents to advise them that they would not attend school if they weren’t participating in the field trip and that my daughters’ teacher was new in which I didn’t think that was any type of excuse for lack of proper communication. I then spoke with Mrs./Ms. Simpson whom told me that it was ASSUMED if a child does not go on a field trip then they are expected to stay home. I explained we were coming from Public school as this was all new and asked if it was written down somewhere that I missed? She explained no, I asked then was it on the permission slip; she explained no. Mrs./Ms. Simpson apologized. My daughters’ teacher then walked up and I asked if she was supposed to call me or email me or how exactly was I supposed to know; teacher responded she told my child. At this point I was absolutely pissed and explained to the teacher that it would be best to contact the parent in the future. This was a horrible first year private Christian school experience ever and this will sadly be our first and last year attending. How could you promote and encourage a child to not attend school in the world were living in this day.

This is the second year that my kids are lucky enough to attend LCS. Coming from a very rough environment with home schooling, this was truly a blessing for them. I was beyond happy when I was able to get the SUFS schloarships for both my kids (grades 10 and 8). They absolutely love the school and I do too! The teachers are family oriented and Christian based and they truly care for each my kids like one of their own. The smaller class sizes means my kids get more one on one with the teachers. They are learning Christian songs and bible versus and we are praying more together as a family. This school has allowed my kids to thrive and blossom. It has truly been a huge blessing in our lives when we definitely needed it the most. These kids truly look out for one another. If they are sick, they are prayed for. If they are absent, they are missed. People notice when youre not there. Last year when 2 of the teachers left, the kids made banners and all the kids and teachers signed. These teachers left knowing they were loved and missed. I cant imagine large public schools doing anything like this. This school is and was the blessing we needed and God provided the way for us to be here. I could not imagine any other school environment for my kids to be learning in and thriving in. Both kids love their school and look forward to going everyday. I love LCS and am thrilled my kids are part of this wonderful school.

My son comes from SCPS having some difficulties with his learning habits and concentration. LCS has been an answer to our prayers. Not only I feel that he is on a safe environment but also knowing that he is been taught in a christian method or view gives me peace of mind. His grades have improve from Ds to A or Bs without any help from home! Im very proud of my son and very happy with LCS...big THANK YOU!!!
