Excellent class ! I highly, recommend Christina Captain’s class for Acupuncture Point Injection. She is an amazing teacher; truly knows her craft. She offers a variety of techniques, demonstrations and helpful feedback. The class is interactive with lots of hands on practice. I’ve wanted to take this class for years and I’m glad I did with Doc Captain. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up. The best!

Christina is extremely thorough and in-depth, while also able to convey this breadth of information in a thoroughly engaging and structured manner. Dr. Captain’s passion for our profession shines through in all she does, as does her genuine concern for all her students to comfortably grasp and practice the material and techniques. She is generous with her time, knowledge, and, probably most fun, her trove of injectables. I even think this course is useful for LAc’s practicing in a place where AIT is not within our scope of practice, as it furthered my understanding of acupuncture in general and is great knowledge to have in your backpocket.

I just finished the 60 hour Acupuncture Point Injection (API) certification course taught by Dr. Christina Captain. Her knowledge of API and high level of clinical experience gave me the confidence necessary to incorporate API into my practice. She really has an excellent teaching style and kept my interest throughout the course. I also appreciated the emphasis she placed on best practices, especially regarding clean needle technique and other safety measures for patients. I am certainly eager to get started. I encourage all acupuncturists who want to learn and use API to take Dr. Captains course.

We (me and my wife) just had a 60 hour of Acupuncture Injection Therapy training with Dr. Christina Captain. Dr. Captain is the best teacher and tutor in acupuncture that Ive ever had. She is knowlegeable and outspoken, helped us going through all the techniques and details needed when you truely practice the acupuncture injection. I am 100% confidently recommend Dr. Captain if you need this traning. BTW, Sarasota center for Acupuncture & Nutrition clinic is very nicely organized. Its beautiful. I recently completed Dr. Christina Functional Nutrition CE course and was blown away how much valuable resources she shared. The online access was easy and had over 195 demonstrated slides of nutritional supplemental information, recommendations for Florida legalities, and how to share this information for patient advisory needs. Though quite fast paced and with good note taking, I learned how to easily read lab tests and documents. There is plenty of data with easy access to sign-up with amazing high quality testing labs and nutritional co-ops for easy start up.

SIMPLY THE BEST! I completed the Acupuncture Injection Therapy (AIT) course with Dr Captain and there are multiple reasons why I’m so glad I did. Aside from being very personable, prepared and organized, she’s extremely knowledgeable with a down to earth teaching style. No dry, passionless reading from a powerpoint. I walked in a bit hesitant about the needles and on the fence about incorporating AIT into our practice & walked out feeling confident, well-prepared and excited about moving forward with AIT.Aside from having complete access to her vast inventory of injectable substances during the hands-on portions of the training, she was continuously sharing pointers about technique, safety, patient comfort, dosage, what needle sizes to use for various applications and substances etc. – stuff I never would have found online or in a book.Dr. Captain is an open book and truly wants everyone taking the training to succeed. She fielded all kinds of questions and freely offered insights about the substances, practice management, and treatment strategies based on her decades of experience incorporating AIT into her successful practice. She also shared info for various vendors (online as well as human contacts for hard-to-get Chinese herbal injectables) and why she orders various items from certain vendors. She even jumped online to show us how to navigate some not-so-intuitive vendor websites.After completing both weekends of the training, I spoke with some colleagues who took their AIT courses elsewhere. We shared our experiences and it was quickly apparent that Dr. Captain’s training is head & shoulders above the others. You wont regret taking her class!

I took Dr. Christina’s Acupuncture Injection Course and I loved it. She’s extremely knowledgeable and has a down to earth way of teaching. After the course, I’ve had many questions as I started implementing it in my practice and she’s been so helpful in answering them all. Specifically adding the pain injections to my practice has allowed me to help some difficult cases I would not have been as successful with before. I was really scared to start treatments. I’m not scared of needles but when I read the possible side effects. It freaks me out . I’ve had no side effects. You leave feeling like you are walking on a cloud. I should’ve started sooner.

Dr. Captain is truly amazing. Her class was extremely informative and her sense of humor kept everyone engaged. She encourages hands on practice and walks you through every step! It was great to see a lot of different demonstrations of injection therapy. She made me feel comfortable and confident to use this skill in my practice.
