Ive been a tutor for SLC for a few years now. The tutor training was fun and extremely informative. It prepared me very well, and now that I have students, Ive found that I love tutoring and have made good friendships through it. The students are amazing! I do know that there are more students who want tutors than there are tutors, so I can see how that might be frustrating, but SLC is doing all it can to manage the backlog, so if youre waiting for a tutor, please hang in there. If youre thinking about tutoring, give it a whirl. Its really fun and rewarding!
