I consider it a tremendous blessing to have found Capokids for my little boy. He is timid and a bit self conscious but his confidence has grown leaps and bounds since attending Capokids preschool. All of the staff are truly devoted to provide a safe and fun environment for all the children. They are gentle and do not push the kids too hard. They all enjoy their jobs and there is a positive atmosphere always. Not only does he have VPK approved curriculum taught each morning but he also has yoga and Capoeira incorporated into their day. It is all about building confidence and working together. When our pediatrician asked where he was attending VPK I told her he was at Capokids and she replied, Im not supposed to endorse one school or another but, off the record, they are definitely in the top handful of schools I would send my grandkids. Nuff said.

We found this school when our kid’s previous school shut down due to the pandemic. Capokids is the best thing that happened to us during this tough time. Our kids have been been going here for a year, one in VPK and the other in the after school program. Our oldest son was very timid at first, but I was amazed to see how much he has grown physically, mentally and emotionally and his brother. He doesn’t have to attend OT since he’s been going to Capokids. He has a confidence that he didn’t have before. He thanks God all the time that we found this school and me and daddy for taking him there. We drive all the way from Nokomis, but it is completely worth it, road construction and all. Both him and our youngest learn best with the constant activities they have at this school from playing drums, singing in Portuguese, dancing, cartwheels, hand stands and so on. Our son in VPK went from below expectations in a couple categories at the beginning of the year to exceeding expectations in all areas. They both love their teachers and the friends they have gained there. The teachers are all extremely caring and hands on. They let kids be kids, but they also create an environment that is safe and requires discipline and respect for one another. Ms. Christina is wonderful and Mr. Fogo the director. A true testament to any business or person is how they handle conflict and when I raised a complaint with Mr. Fogo, instead of throwing the book at me and telling me well that’s school policy, he carefully considered our concern and worked with us to best fit the needs of our kids and us. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work here. There are many special ingredients here, and capoeira is a unique experience for our kids who don’t want to be stuck behind a desk all day. Will continue taking our kids here as long as we can.

Capokids has been the best decision I made for my son. I was nervous sending him with the pandemic going on but they have been very careful and professional and the kids have still been allowed to be kids. He has gone all summer and will be attending preschool there as well. He loves everything about it. He comes home tired and wakes up excited for every day. Ill be sending him as long as he can go...UPDATE:My son just finished his first week of preschool. I am loving the fact that he is waking up, excited and anxious to get back to school. His teacher, Ms Christina is phenomenal. She is very patient and its obvious that she truly loves her job.

My son started VPK at CapoKids at the start of the 2019/2020 school year and it was the best decision I could have made for him! He not only got an excellent education but he also got TONS of exercise! He has gone on and continued with the summer camp program. His Capoeira skills are on FIRE! He has learned so much has LOVES all the teachers and assistants. He wants to be a CapoKids teacher one day!! He will be attending after school care for the 2020/2021 school year. Thank you for being the BEST!!!

Capokids is the best place I could have asked for to send my kids. They welcomed us in like we were part of the family from day 1. My kids love going there, with all the fun activities and great teachers. My son starts kindergarten this fall, and he will be returning for the afterschool program. Capo is one of his favorite activities, and he has learned so much mentally, physically, and emotionally. We love Capokids and well probably never leave!!

My 10 year old son has attended Capo Kids for 5 years now and my 6 yr old daughter for one year. Both of my kids have 2 completely different personalities (duh) and yet they both have fun, learn discipline and go on different field trips everyday instead of being stuck in one location all summer! Plus they get worn out by pick up time! I would strongly recommend this camp! 😊

Capokids is the best! My son has been going here for the entire summer for summer camp and we love it! The children are active all day and learn so much! He will also be in the aftercare program for the school year as well! Thanks for all you do!

Ive been doing the after-school program and camps since I was 5 years old. Thats a whopping 19 years! Once I reached middle school I was able to be a counselor in training like many other children who have been in the program since they were young. I believe being and working with this program has shaped the strong, confident, woman I am today.

My both kids started to attend Capokids since 2016 and they still there with Capokids for VPK and afterschool care.We love this place because its truly kids friendly and our kids get to enjoy learning, friendship, and practice Capoeira there. Thanks all the teachers, instructor, and the principal to providing such an amazing environment for kids to grow.We seeing this place improve step by step and keep adding value to the family and kids. I had my son here last summer for a week and found it to be very unprofessional and cold. I didnt feel good leaving my son there. The nap time for my almost 6 year old was ridiculous.

Recommended. My son enjoys when these teachers visit his capo school.

I must say that when I moved here last year from NY, I hadn’t researched where my 2nd grader would go after school. I had other parents tell me about CAPOKIDS and I took their word for it. I’m so THANKFUL that I did listen to them bc my daughter has changed on many levels.Not only is she learning and embracing such a beautiful art and culture, but her own confidence has also been raised.The dedication given by each teacher ( and owners- who btw, are in touch with you whenever you need. Who, btw are front and center at their studios. Who, btw are always listening to any questions/ concerns with a smile) at CAPOKIDS is very much appreciated.It’s a wonderful environment where your child can grow, feel safe, and welcome.I can’t wait for all of my children to attend when they are of school age!You have our family for a long time CAPOKIDS!Thank you for all you do!
