I absolutely love this school, I had some amazing educators , I love how they push you until you get it, there always there when you need them. I just finished the Ultrasound program and I must say I had the best teachers around Lisa and Janine and Marianna are the freaking best. Now, the program was changeling but most things in life are and when its something that you love and thrive for you are willing to over come that challenge at any means necessary. And when I say they were there every step of the way to pick us up and encourage us until the very last day. I thank God daily for the opportunity I was given at Meridian, what ever you put in to your education that is what you will get out of it, and that is with any and everything in life.

Meridian Colleges cosmetology program is stellar! The course curriculum equips a student with a thorough and comprehensive education of hair, skin and nails. It provides fundamental course work and hands- on training that prepares students for a career in the beauty industry. The instructors are fantastic people- professional, caring and very committed to the growth of every student. I highly recommend Meridian College!

Really liked attending this college. All the staff is really knowledgeable about their respective fields. Classes are flexible for morning or night. Classes move fast and you are done before you know it. Attending is an excellent way to get in a career focused path. All one has to do is show up and put in effort and the staff will help you get to where you want to go. Great experience.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL FOR cosmetology!! It is expensive A RIDICULOUS PRICE !!!!!Please do not get stuck with student debt for no reason! Go to a better school even if you have to wait to get in for a few months!! this is basically a scam! Hands down one of the best Cosmetology Schools in the area. There are several good ones you cant go wrong with. But whatever you do, DO NOT go to fashion focus academy. Meridian College or Manatee Technical College is really the way to go. Ask for Erin. Tell her Edward sent you. :)

Got my hair dyed there today at the student salon. They have a great instructor and always do a great job. Was my 4th time there. Always a beautiful job.

I have nothing good to say about this school. If you are considering going to this school, take my advice and DONT. From the rude people, to the disorganization, to even the cleanliness of this school, it is an AWFUL experience. If I went into the details of how horrible this school is, this review would be pages long. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this school at all costs. I can affirmatively tell you that whatever program it is that you are interested in, you can find that education elsewhere for better pricing and a better experience.

I absolutely love the Medical Assisting program offered here at Meridian. They surpassed my expectations. All the instructors are great, with answering all questions we had to making sure you understood the subject matter. The career service department is another great service offered here. They help you with how to put together a professional resume. I love my experience here, every single question I had they answered it. Thank you guys so much.

RIDICULOUSLY expensive for low quality education. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Go to a technical school so you won’t have to worry about being in debt for years, you will get a better education. The “convenient” night classes aren’t worth it. I will say though, that staff was very nice. There was really only one teacher there (that I had) that actually cared about quality education. This school is a JOKE, sad. Extremely disappointed in this school.

The sink in the woman’s bathroom has been broken for months with clear tape over it. Even after complaining to the office staff...The custodian does not change the bags for trash. He just dumps the contents into another bag. The trash bag in my current room has been there for 6 weeks. The floors are never vacuumed.The education portion of this school is fair. It needs updated equipment, especially a new compressor as it doesn’t work all the time.It’s the cleanliness that lacks any motivation at all.

Do you like wasting your money? Do you like scams? Do you like to be a part of drama & lies? Then this is the place for you! I have an associates from another college, so I know what actual college courses are like and knew what to expect. This was far from a college. I had many problems with a teacher, went to the dean of the school and nothing was done. Found out the school is not accredited for my program after being told they were. Now I am being scammed to pay $16,000 for a sorry education. Unable to get my money back. The credits you earn here are nontransferable. The list goes on & on. I am ashamed to say I ever stepped foot into this garbage school. Honestly, this one star rating is all too generous.

Miss. Kim notified me of, the cosmetology program when I came in about inquiry of the ultrasound program. I had been looking for a good cosmetology program and I had finally found one. the instructors are good with the education and knowledge of what is to be known in order to pass your state boards. Come down to Meridian if you are interested in furthering your knowledge of hair, nails, and skin. THUMBS UP MERIDIAN!!!

I graduated Meridian College for Dental Assisting in 2014, with my internship ending Oct of 2013. Throughout the years I have kept in touch with Meridian’s career advisor Tracy Fordham. She has been wonderful and always willing to help you years past your graduation. Almost 5 years later, she contacted potential employers for me to help me obtain a new position with a new Office. Within a few days, I started receiving phone calls for interviews! I got hired with a new Dental Office he same day of my interview that Tracy helped me get! She is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this school to anyone! Tracy went above and beyond in helping me even though I graduated years ago. Truly, Tracy is one of the best assets at Meridian College and most valuable resources for students!!

The college is awesome. I loved all the teachers there I met some great people along the way. When it was time for me to go out on my externship Ms. TRACY WAS great with the hole thing walked all of us what was going to happen on our site that she assigned us. And she was supper organized

They pack as many students as they can in the program . And no one succeeds or is successful due to the lack of to many teachers not knowing what is going on. He either PASS or FAILS YOU.THE PLACEMENT DIRECTOR Tracy Fordham, is complete idiot when it comes to placing students. She tells you that she has a site for you. When she doesnt. This school ULTRASOUND program is TERRIBLE.DO YOUR RESEARCH. CALL LOCAL DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING CENTERS AND SEE HOW THEY REVIEW THIS SCHOOL AS WELL.After all local offices wont hire you because of your school than that goes a long way.

When I started my journey to further my education I had quite a few options. After meeting with miss Kim (who’s amazing) I quickly realized that meridian may have been the perfect fit for me. I started off in cosmo, and realized that I was a better fit for the medical program, with no issues they worked with me and helped me get into the program I knew was right for me. Throughout my time at meridian I gained more than education, I gained friends, mentors, connections and professors that were eventually like my family. Meridian was there for me when I went through a very trying time in my life and were nothing less than supportive and understanding. I gained all the knowledge to be fully prepared for my first position in the field. Not to mention, two years later and I am still in close contact with my teachers and the admins at meridian. Ms.Tracey is an amazing resource and to this day is there for me if I need anything or have any questions at all! She truly is a forever resource!! I can’t wait to go back for the DMU program this year! I highly recommend meridian if you’re looking for a great school to further your education!

I graduated July 3,2015 , My experience was challenging, my instructors were phenomenal, very outgoing and great at teaching. Currently working with career services for job placement. Great news, I currently have a positive opportunity that may turn into a permanent position as a Medical Assistant. In addition, I am currently studying for my RMA.

My experience at Meridian College was everything I expected. From the time I walked into Meridian until my last day there was nothing but people who wanted the best for me. The teachers are awesome and really wants you to succeed. Through every trial and tribulation they stuck with me and pushed me to finish. I just finished my Cosmo degree in here. I loved the atmosphere since my first visit, friendly staff and friendly students. My year in here flew by because I enjoyed it so much. Ill absolutely recommend it.

I discovered this morning that someone used my name to write a review. I wanted to make it clear that I have had no issues with this school, or the externship process. The review WITHOUT my picture on it is a fake profile. I have all 3 rotations confirmed, and will be graduating from the ASDMU program March 31, 2018.

This school is TERRIBLE! I don’t know why this school is still keep going! They only care about your money! They ripped students off! The tuition is way TOO EXPENSIVE for education that you get! The facilities is BIG JOKE! Library is a joke! You couldn’t even use computers! Porch is always dirty! Microwaves are disgusting! NO EVENTS for school. I don’t even know why you call this a private school! Public school is way better than this! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Don’t make a bad decision like me! This school is a SCAM! I am a current student here and I want to keep my name private! I’ve chose this school because I’ve thought I will get a good education even though It was too expensive! I’ve thought this will be a good investment for my future but It turned out like a nightmare... A giant NIGHTMARE!! Now, I have alot of loans to pay eventho I’m not graduate yet.. Be CAREFUL with this school! Be careful on the papers that you sign for them, its a scam! They won’t explain everything on the paper so you better read them all! The Administrative staffs weren’t straightforward! They’re all liars! LIES, LIES, LIES! They’re good at it. They’ll tell you promises that would never happen! There’s alot of bad things about this school. Somebody should do something about this.

I did the Medical Assisting program and absolutely loved it! all the instructors were beyond helpful. I got offered a position at my externship site. I came right back to Meridian for the Diagnostic Sonographer course. My husband is even attending school as well for Medical Assisting here now as well. Couldnt have picked a better school!!

Being an ultrasound tech is a good career path. Though this school is HIGHLY UNEDUCATED & UNQAULIFIED! The placement coordinator has no sites, she tells students they are going out and they keep getting pushed back! They only require 20 hours a week for a 3 month long externship! Your DMU classes are just 7 months long! Very few people who have completed the program are currently working in the field. Honestly I’m surprised anytime I read any positive reviews and am shocked there has not been any legal repercussions particularly concerning the Ultrasound program. After having completed the program I feel totally ripped off and scammed. I wish someone would do something about this place. Terrible!

Today we attended Smiles and Styles back to school event. OMG so much food! The kids enjoyed getting their teeth cleaned and fresh hair styles/haircuts. This is a great event sponsored by Meridian College annually. Thank you Tracy Fordham for caring and sending our kids back to school with clean teeth and fresh styles and lets not forget backpacks with school supplies and the hottest gadget surprise... the spinner! I’m currently enrolled at Meridian College for an Ultrasound program. I started my ultrasound externship In January 2018, it was both exciting and scary at the same time. This was the time when you get a taste of what it’s like to work in the field and apply what you have learned in school to real patients. The externship will also give you a chance to make connections with professionals in the field that you can potentially use as references for future job opportunities. The externship acts as the foundation on which to build your career. Thank you Meridian College for this opportunity.

Starting meridian college was one of the best decisions I made. The schedule fit perfectly with my busy lifestyle as a mom and wife. I was able to still spend time with my family as well as gain an education. The class sizes are small so I felt like I was important and mattered rather than just a number. The teachers were amazing. Mr.Ortega was awesome at educating and uplifting each and every student and telling us to never give up. Mrs. Sutliff was great at giving us tough love and really getting us to learn the material. I really felt like the whole staff at Meridian cared about our education and would do anything to help us along the way. Tracy works very hard at getting us placed at a job once we are finished with our externship and giving us advice that we will need when we do enter the workplace. I can now say that all their and my hard work has paid off. I was offered a position as an MA at the externship site I attended. I will be working in the field at a great Orthopedics and sports medicine facility.. If you are trying to decide which school to attend to further your education and to gain a great life long career, Meridian should be your only choice!

At first I wasnt sure I made the right choice with going to Meridian but after having the most understanding and knowledgeable teachers and taking a look on the past year with finishing the medical assistant program . I totally made the right choice , not even one month after graduation I was offered a fulltime position, due to the excellence on my externship . Thank you Meridian for all you have done .

Going to Meridian College was one of the best decisions I ever made. I always wanted to be a medical assistant, after 4 years of CNA work I needed something better something that I would be happy and enjoy doing. From day one the teachers and the staff helped me always by pushing me to do my best. It wasnt easy, things happened in my life and they understood even by me moving back to Chicago they worked with me 1200 miles away helping me get a externship spot(Thank you Tracy). After my completion, I got offered a full time position on my last day as a extern!!! I am so thankful for everyone that helped me along the way.... hard work definitely pays off!!!

THEY SAY THEY ARE HERE TO HELP AND I FOUND OUT THEY WANTED ME TO COME IN TO THE SCHOOL TO TALK ME OUT OF DELETING MY REVIEW. WONDER WHAT THEY ARE SO AFRAID OF.

I absolutely loved everything about my experiece with Meridian College. Not only are the entire staff incredible but they all truly love their jobs and all go above and beyond their job description. The classes are small so its more intense one on one with the instructor(who by the way was more like a mother to us all and truly ccared and showed us every day how she loved us all) And the BEST part about going to a place like Meridian is that they have a career instructor named Tracey Forham who on multiple occasions has gone out of her way to not only build my resume but to also take it upon herself to calling her personal connections for me to get me more interviews when the first job didnt work out as well as I had planned!! So I just want to say THANK U THANK U THANK U for all your greatness and outstanding service!!!!
