I was brand new to the massage world when I found SSMT, and boy am I happy this was my introduction to Massage Therapy! I graduated from their day classes in 2018, after only 8 months of schooling (800 hours), and I have now been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist for a year and counting. I give credit to SSMT every day for that fact! Without SSMT I wouldnt be able to work in an industry that I can people AND make a decent living without sacrificing my happiness. The teachers are all very professional while also being down-to-Earth, and the curriculum gave me the foundation to enter this field of work seamlessly. I feel so thankful and blessed that I was lead to this school, and even more so that they allowed me to join in their family. I know I have a safe space I can return to if I need guidance or just a friendly face to talk to, and that means a lot.On top of it all: the student massages are PHENOMENAL, and at a crazy good price, so if you need bodywork but arent able to pay what others are charging check out the student clinic!TRUST THE PROCESS- it wasnt until my first day of classes that I heard this saying, and now I hear it/see it/read it everywhere.THANK YOU, SSMT.

Why do yall charge $15,000 when other local schools are charging $3,500?

SSMT is THE best school to learn massage. Everyone is exceptionally great! The instructors have an abundance of knowledge and are so willing to share. I feel completely prepared to start my massage practice.

Ssmt help me in more ways than I could ever think of. This place is not just a school, but also a home and everyone is family. Everyone wants to see you and help you succeed. I came to the school to get a head start in the medical field, and they gave me more than what I bargained for. From the practical use of the knowledge that I needed in the classroom, to bring able to help change peoples lives. Every bit of it was so worth it and every time I come back to the school its like a homecoming and learning something new each time. Two years after graduation I am still connected to my instructors and they have helped me grow my own practice. This place is phenomenal and would recommend it to anyone trying to improve their life and improve others.

To say that SSMT changed my life is an understatement. The 11 months I was there as a part time student was the most healing year of my life mentally and physically.The teachers are great and really go the extra mile. They always find a way to reach you in your style of learning, while at the same time showing you new ways to approach learning.The classes you take help you in having a successful practice. All classes come together in a beautiful way.This is my second year as a Massage Therapist. This is a passion and a skill, and SSMT has helped me make both. I graduated from SSMT about six months ago. It was, by far, the greatest thing Ive ever done for myself. How many jobs can you say youve had where you Truly get to help people feel better? Autumn, Susan, Joe, Jessica, Chris, Joni, Jim Caine, Katie Jones, they were all incredible. Sharing their knowledge for us all to absorb. Fantastic school. I couldnt imagine being anywhere else in my life then exactly where I am.

I attended the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in 2014 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. From the minute I walked in the staff was helpful and friendly. They all share a common goal which is to help the students succeed. I am a person who asks a lot of questions they never go unanswered here. I went in to this program knowing very little about human anatomy and pathology. It was challenging at times but my instructors and the administrators were always there to help and clarify. I am so grateful for everything I learned and all the opportunity it has awarded me. I still get massage in the student clinic AND I practice licensed massage in their professional graduate clinic. For the first time in my life I am making a good living doing something I love. I absolutely would (and have) recommend SSMT to a friend.

As with most students, you not only learn clinical skills. But a weather of heath and personal wellness. I graduated in 2005. Ive have praticed 3 different states. A personal note , steph was still pregnant when I attended.

This school absolutely cares about the fate of the students; I myself have had several teachers offer to be a referral for me after they experienced my massage. I know several male therapists who have had no trouble getting work after graduating. If you pay any attention in ethics class you will be able to recognize and avoid untoward situations. It is mentioned several times in school. Yes, a business wants your money to continue operating, but this school is run by those with combined centuries of experience and a real love for facilitating healing, both for the client and therapist. Dont listen to the person below who clearly heard what he wanted to hear and got burned. Sources: graduate this month.

Its been a little over a year since I graduated SSMT, and Im so thankful for it. Not only was it an amazing experience, but I now work at the most gorgeous spa... I love it my job and I love my co-workers. I couldnxt hve accomplished it without the wonderful staff at SSMT. I enjoy coming by occasionally to say hi and book myself a massage at the student clinic ♡

When I lived in Sarasota this school screwed over my friend. He doesnt have the backbone to speak up about it so I gave them a poor review.
