We absolutely love The Learning Cottage! Both of our daughters attend the Fusion program. They are so excited to come to school everyday, gymnastics on Friday’s is their favorite. Mrs. Kerri and the rest of the staff is so incredibly nice and make you feel at ease. And did I mention how amazing Ashley and Aimee are?! You’re always greeted with a genuine smile.I highly recommend The Learning Cottage!

My son is 4 years old and has been attending The Learning Cottage for the past year and will be there until he graduates to Kindergarten next year. We absolutely love it. It’s like a family and the very clever Fusion curriculum seems to be the perfect balance for their young minds. In my interpretation of it, it’s a good combo of structured lessons, routine and going at their own pace all rolled into some amazing themes that change weekly and monthly. My son is so enthusiastic and excited about all he is learning there and he adores his teachers. This was not the case where we were before. The teachers and school directors at The Learning Cottage are phenomenal. Every one of them is very professional yet so loving and kind. I leave my cherished little guy there with no worries throughout the day. And that, for me, is priceless. Were just waiting for the the Learning Cottage Elementary school to open up... :)

My child loves this school and so do we! The teachers are very well trained and make learning an exciting experience. They are very focused on helping even young children realize they are a part of a community and showing them how to play their part. Love love love the Learning cottage♥️♥️

As a parent, the Learning Cottage has given my daughter an incredible foundation where she has learned to be a good friend and has fun everyday. She is very well loved each and every day and I wouldn’t want to drop her off anywhere else.As a local kindergarten teacher, I have had students come into my class from the LC. They are very well prepared academically but more than that they have great social skills and treat their friends with kindness and compassion.We love the Learning Cottage!

I love my daughters little home away from home. This school has been a wonderful gift to our family. My daughter has been going there since she was 6 months old and the level of care and personal attention through every step in her development has been wonderful. I really feel like I have fantastic team mates in the education and emotional development of my daughter and I couldnt recommend this school more!

My son has been a part of The Learning Cottage family for a year and a half. I couldnt imagine him being anywhere else. He has been guided by some of the most wonderful and caring teachers who always have the best interest of every child in mind. The interactions between the teachers and students that I have been witness to and what my son tells me when we talk about his day are truly amazing. My son has flourished being in this school both academically and socially. I could go on and on about how thankful I am for teachers that genuinely care about my son, as well as the owners for opening this school. It is definitely not just a preschool, it is a family.

Hands down the best school weve been to with our 4 year old (weve moved around quite a bit!) We are absolutely thrilled with the staff, the curriculum...and our son literally loved going each day. He has already grown so much in the 2 months he has been attending. Best decision weve made since moving to the area!

This school doesnt even have words to explain it. Amazing is an understatement!! Both my children attend and come home happy and full of new things to tell me daily. The level of knowledge my 3 year old has from this school is amazing! This is definitely the place to be. It isnt a daycare it is a school. Early education all the way. Absolutely love the directors and teachers. I feel like family when I walk in. Me. Patty my daughters teacher keeps me up to date on absolutely everything and I can tell she truly loves my daughter and her job...wait no this isnt her job its her passion!!!! My 19 month old son has MS. Lindsey and MS. Carly and I dont even know where to begin. These women have made bringing my son in a breeze. He has severe mommy love and doesnt ever want to leave me. When he sees his teachers he runs for them . I Know these teachers all have a special passion and love for our children. After looking into many places I know we are lucky to have such compassion for kids in our community!! Please take a tour and experience what I have! I wish I could give more stars!!

I researched and visited numerous preschools in the area and I wasnt content until I came across the Learning Cottage. I immediately felt welcome upon walking in for my first tour, as if it were my own home.Their approach, Fusion Early Learning, is an incredible curriculum that engages little ones, encourages creative thinking and problem solving abilities, and helps even the youngest toddler (like my little girl) develop important linguistic skills.I love that my daughter gets lots of time outdoors, learns manners and spends time interacting with her classmates...her social skills have truly blossomed. She also enjoys 2 organic snacks daily. Only all-natural cleaning products are used to wipe down toys/equipment so she isnt exposed to any harmful chemicals.I chose The Learning Cottage because I wanted my daughter to think above and beyond, appreciate and use all of her creative abilities and feel warm, welcome, and loved. Most of all...I love the feeling of home that The Learning Cottage is and totally represents!5 stars all the way.

As a first time working Mom, finding the best place for my son was my number one priority while I was pregnant. The Learning Cottage sure has been a blessing to my family. It is a local, family owned school that really prioritizes the child over anything else. My son had some issues early on with gross motor movement and with their guidance and support we overcame all of his obstacles, and now he is a maniac (in a good way!) He is not yet two and says please and thank you (also in sign language) and comes home with artwork that I could never have thought of myself. He is blossoming into the best and brightest little boy and I know that the LC has contributed to his growth. I am currently pregnant with baby #2 and I am at peace knowing my littlest one will follow the same great path!

Words cannot describe how amazing everyone has been with us. They have treated us like family. My son is so much more happier when I drop him off and pick him up. I have visited a lot of preschools and The Learning Cottage is hands down the most wonderful place and the atmosphere is amazing. Love being part of the learning cottage

Recently enrolled my daughter here after being in a different preschool due to the availability of infant daycare. She loves it! Every day she wants to stay and play. She has made alot of progress in both emotional and academic skills since starting. Her diet and willingness to try new foods has even improved due to their snack time routine. The classroom environment is highly organized while allowing for plenty of free play time and child-led play. Communication with all staff members is excellent. We are lucky to have found this awesome school.

I toured a number of preschools before deciding on The Learning Cottage (after moving here from out of state). I could not be happier, or more grateful for the staff. They are so incredibly caring and nurturing to the children. The school goes above and beyond to ensure a clean, safe, and enriching learning environment, as well as to keep parents involved and in the loop as much as possible. My child is overjoyed to arrive each morning, talks about her friends and teachers nonstop, and is always doing something fun and new upon pick up. She has learned so much since being here and it is amazing to witness that each day. I am so thankful we have found our village at this school.

I can not say enough good things about this place! From the minute we walked through the door the whole family fell in love with it. The feeling continues everyday I drop and pick up my son. It is such a warm, nurturing, encouraging environment! My son is in the Pre-K class and I absolutely love his teachers. The whole staff is amazing!Where to start: It is a clean, welcoming, calming environment. They promote a healthy lifestyle with their organic healthy snacks that has gotten my son out of his comfort zone more than once. They are excellent communicators: monthly news letter, picture updates during the day, open communication with the teachers every day, updates sent home in his folder and on an on. Not to mention we have seen a change in my sons behavior for the better since he has started at The Learning Cottage- he is more loving and patient with his younger brother, he has picked up some great habits, and he has gotten better at using words to express his feelings. I love to hear the excitement he has when he tells me what he has learned and I am always impressed. I love the curriculum and the manner in which they teach it. It is so well run and thought out and we feel lucky that we found it!

After looking at many other preschools in the area I decided on The Learning Cottage for my child. It is a choice I would make many times again if I had the chance. My child learned more than I could ever image because of their excellent curriculum. She was not only more than prepared for kindergarten course work, but she was socially prepared as well. TLC is run by two amazing women who care about the children and families. They are very accommodating and kind and will work with you to address any needs. My child and I both miss the wonderful staff every day.

The Learning Cottage has been the such an amazing experience for my children. They go far beyond a Preschool - the teachers, directors and other families are literally part of our extended family now. We have experienced a variety of different preschools and this one is leaps and bounds above most.I would recommend the Learning Cottage to anyone!

I highly recommend The Learning Cottage to any parent looking for a pre-school for their child. The staff is super friendly and truly care about the kids and their well being. They teach the kids about very important things like respecting the environment. They also care about the health of the children, serving organic and preservative free snacks! I honestly could not be happier with The Learning Cottage. I was so nervous sending my two boys to preschool. It was a tough decision to come to but making the decision to send them to The Learning Cottage was an easy one. I had brought my kids with me for the tour and they loved it the minute we got there. The owners and staff really do such an exceptional job with the kids. My boys have learned so much more than I ever expected them to at a preschool. To this day, I am in awe of what they show and tell me they know. When I drop them off each morning, I have no doubt that they will have an awesome day and that they will be well taken care of and cared for.

Blessed to have found this amazing school! Since starting at The Learning Cottage over a year ago, my son is excited and happy to go each morning, which as a working mother, gives me peace of mind. The learning cottage checks all the boxes of what we were looking for in a childcare facility for our son. all of the staff members are caring and child-centered. we love the themed monthly units and how much our son has learned and grown while there!

The quality of education and care my family enjoys here is unlike anything in the area – and I’ve searched.I’m consistently amazed at the sophistication of the curriculum which cycles through great thinkers, authors, artists and themes as the kids explore the staple subjects such as reading, writing, science, math and art. Net result: your child will grow here in many ways. When your child tells you what they learned today, you’ll be shocked at how they’ve developed beyond expectation in their vocabulary and comprehension of concepts like the water cycle, all while having a good time. When I stop in, I get to see the play, manners, conscientiousness, and self-sufficiency encouraged at all levels of this school. It is fantastic.I feel very fortunate that my children get to experience this excellent school and am confident about how prepared and well-adjusted they’re going to be when they graduate. Very highly recommended.

By far the best early education program in Manatea/Sarasote counties. My two y/o is insisting shes going to be an astronaut... and can accurately describe what an astronaut is and does. The teachers truly love teaching & caring for these kids. They are truly an extension of the family.

If I could give this school hundred stars, I would!➡️Learning Cottage Awesome facts⬅️-The School runs like a well oiled machine!-Safety is a Top priority! You can’t even enter the school without knowing the door code. Teachers are constantly communicating on walkie talkies.-Holy Moly clean! The school uses all Young Living products. When necessary a sterilization team will come after hours to clean the school. My son went a whole year without a sick visit to the doctor.-Academics on Point! With the LC’s fusion program my son has the tools to be ready for Kindergarten, both socially and academically.-Parent Committee! Trust me, I’m not The PTO kinda mom, but I wanted to be a part of this awesome community of people. It also gave me the opportunity to meet other moms at the school and be in the loop with what the school was working on.-Peace, love and Kindness! Is the school’s motto and it shows in everything they do. Whether your child has sensory issues or just plain sad to see their parents leave, a teacher is always available to make the child feel safe and loved. ♥️

After being disappointed in Zacharys last school we learned about the Learning Cottage! We met with Aimee and were so excited about the idea and curriculum that we enrolled our son in school part time that day! He loved it, made friends and the environment was exactly what he needed! When he was ready to start VPK we enrolled him full time. Sadly it proved to be a bit much for him to handle. However, Mrs. Aimee, Mrs. Ashley and all his teachers were wonderful and worked with us until he started thriving again! Zachary loved going to school, loved his teachers and friends and hardly wanted to go home when it was time! The Learning Cottage is a wonderful place where children can learn and grow with wonderful morals, values and ideas! I highly recommend this school to anyone, when Zachary graduated we were sad that he could not continue Kindergarten there! We will miss The Learning Cottage but are very grateful for the time we spent there!

My daughter attended here until yesterday. I raised a few questions not angrily they actually reached out to me and in their response became highly aggressive. Simple answers would have solved any issue. At that time I said I was in traffic and would call back rather than to escalate. I received an email notifying me that my familys values were different from theirs and they only wanted children in their school with similar values as theirs. I have heard similar stories from two other families in the last few weeks. Horrible communication, discrimination, and lack of concern about uprooting a child from her environment. These people clearly do not care about the children.

Horrible communication with parents. Removed my child from school without prior warning over difference of values. Was not concerned with how my child would adjust to being uprooted. They are more concerned with daily emails of voting them the best rather than the children themselves. Beware!!!!

The Learning Cottage provides an outstanding curriculum and nurturing setting. We are thrilled to have our daughter enrolled here.

A pleasure knowing that were leaving our granddaughter in the best care possible.

My son was there for almost 4 months. The last 2 months, we were not notified that another child there was bullying him. Our son started to say things to his dad like, I am going to kick you in the @#$$ When we asked where he got that from, he said one of the kids names that go to this school. Our son also started to become fearful and said other kids were afraid of this bully as well. When I addressed this with the facility the director was very nasty and pretty much called my child a wimp. Way to run a preschool!
