My kids love the after-school art program, and I am beyond impressed with the creations they bring home! Family Art is wonderful and we look forward to trying some of the adult programming soon! Highly, highly recommend!!

We love Carrie Curran Art Studios! My children have done week-long camps and come home with incredible, beautiful artwork. The students are taught in a manner that really lets their creative side come through in ways they couldnt imagine. I am so proud of their work, and so happy there is a studio dedicated to teaching art.

I’ve painted at Carrie’s studio for years. I especially enjoy the “Paint Your Pet” events, as have many of my friends. The instructors are well-trained and helpful. Everyone I’ve ever taken with me is pleased with what they can produce in a three hour class. Highly recommend!

It was a great experience. We took our daughter there as a last family night before she headed back to college for her senior year. An outstanding family memory was created. The instructor was competent and engaging. The other participants were also engaging. A great time was had by all.

Paint your pooch was an amazing experience. The artists were thorough, knowledgeable and made it super fun. I can’t wait until the next one. I also want to get my kid in a class or a camp!

For the past 10 years, my sister has visited from Maryland, and we have enjoyed a paint and sip. Thus, we are experts, having sampled most of the Valley studios. Carrie Currans is the the studio most likely to offer true art instruction, which we highly value.As always, lots of fun. Jessie was an excellent leader/instructor. My daughter had a very good experience painting a pet. She has had much art instruction over her years and often finds art camps or day classes juvenile. Not this one. She came home with sketches that showed expertise and caring instruction and the final project was just so creative! Thank you!

I’ve been to three different studios that do Paint Your Pet and this is by far my favorite place. I love that they do the eyes for you as that is the most important part of the painting.

My husband and I are seniors and were the oldest of participants, but we had a good time and enjoyed being creative. The host/instructor was very nice and helpful.

My friend and I attended the Monet and Mimosas class held at the Hermosa Inn. It was such a lovely escape from the everyday worries that plague us all. While my end product reminded me that Ive been away from painting for far too long, just enjoying the moment and putting a brush on a canvas reminded me how much I miss having a creative outlet. It is a fun event alone or with a friend or group. We sat outside and wore masks so everyone felt safe. The setting is gorgeous and inspiring. Carrie and her assistant were enthusiastic and supportive of all the students.

Daughter and I did the family paint on the patio event. Ive never painted anything and dont have any kind of artistic streak. The teachers were so helpful and patient and made everything easy. I was pretty happy with the results and surprised myself with my talent.

Great class for teenagers. My hard to please daughter loved it and would definitely take another class.

I took a Van Gogh wine painting class with Jessie as the instructor. She was outstanding, so fun and friendly. My painting turned out wonderful and I really enjoyed myself. Will definitely go back!

My neighbors and I attended Monet & Mimosas at the Hermosa Inn taught by Carrie. The location and the refreshments were wonderful. Carrie and her helper, Annie, were great teachers. It was a fun morning which made me want to do it again!

We did this for my daughters birthday. It was a beautiful day so it was nice to be outside. We were the only people there so we had out own private lesson.

I liked the virtual class, mainly because I didn’t feel pressured and could work at my own pace. Teacher was great - she took the time to explain the process thoroughly.

I am happily painting and learning each week in Carries Zoom class .Her explanations are detailed and the demonstrations make it easy to understand and to implement the techniques. She shares tidbits of her infinite wisdom which cannot be discovered in books. This weekly class pushes me to paint more, stretch as I paint and I am more excited then ever to BE a painter.

Having done a variety of virtual classes and camp activities this summer, Carrie Curran Art Studios virtual classes for kids stand out as one of the top experiences. Everything is well organized, well explained and well communicated. The teacher uses the camera effectively to show and narrate everything she/he is doing so even younger kids (below 10) can follow. The projects are interesting and engaging, even on camera.

My son, his friends in AZ and cousins in NY thoroughly enjoyed the Watercolor Classes these past 2 weeks on Zoom. I participated along with my son and found it quite enjoyable. This was a thoughtful and amazing gift from our sons Pediatric Dentist, Dr Libby @ Desert Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. I thought the teachers combined basic water color techniques, fun while giving the students freedom of expression on both projects. They answered lots of questions from students and demonstrated the responses for everyone to see, which was great dialogue. The amazing part to me was that each students painting were so different and creative even though they all received the same instruction. We are a homeschooling family, so once the dust clears from the current shelter in place, we would consider continuing classes with Carrie Curran Art Studio. We were also pleased to find out that her studio is right in our neighborhood!I would recommend Carrie Curran Art Studio to friends.

Phenomenal experience! Above and beyond expectations. Instruction was clear and Done at an easy pace. Environment cannot be beat. Great way to escape the busyness of life and focus time and attention on creation for a bit instead.

I loved the introduction class to sketching and painting with acrylics. I learned so much about the supplies we are using and why they were chosen. I feel very excited to start the classes next week. Carrie and Haley made us feel very comfortable to ask questions and “ Just have fun”.

Really enjoyed the watercolor class. And it worked really well through a Zoom call.

Such a great way to reach out to little art lovers with their digital zoom classes during this time! Our 6 year old had a great time and keeps asking to do more! She needed some help with the sketch part of the classes, but loved to make things her own!

My daughter LOVES these online Art classes! They teach so many art mediums in these classes- and they work with clay too! A great way to learn while staying safe. The instructors are fantastic too, and so patient! 😊

This was my sixth visit to the studio, I always bring 5 friends and every time has been fantastic. I will return with more friends.

The set-up was great . . . good social distacing, masks much of the time, and took temps as we arrived.The class was fun and the picture was cool when we finished . . . . only sort of an issue, was as we got near the end the picture details happened tooooo quickly (time management could have been better.All-in-all, the class was Great and well do it again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I have been enjoying these virtual watercolor classes for about six weeks. They are easy to follow and we have been surprised how much we enjoy them!We’ve noticed how much technique we have already learned and plan to continue. Amazing Instruction for the Virtual CLasses. My 9 yr old is learning so many skills. This is a fantastic experience we never expected. We were lost for summer programmes during this pandemic and this has been a favorite for the last couple of years. Adding virtual classes and extremely stringent and safe in -person classes has been a blessing. The virtual class is nothing like watching videos to create art, the teachers are engaging, answer so many questions, keep each child engaged and they have a great setup so the kids can see each part and follow. SO HAPPY!!

Carrie Curran Art Studios is awesome. They show you in detail how to work with water colors: mixing, applying, you name it. The instructors are so friendly and easy to work with. If you are unable to complete your masterpiece in the time alloted, they have a link for a few days to help you.

I’m grateful that my sons dentist group partnered with Carrie Curran Art Studios to deliver a fun painting class. It kept my child interested and busy for about an hour and a half. He enjoyed it so much that he can’t wait for the next one. Thank you

Had a blast

My 6 year old is looking forward to attending the gift making workshop in December. She attended last year and she made wonderful artwork for each one of her family members and they were even wrapped! She was so proud to do that as a 6 year old without mom and dads help. We booked both sessions so she could create even more gifts since they were such a hit last year!

My husband and I had a great time painting our dogs’ portraits. Carrie and her assistant did a great job teaching and encouraging us and did everything they could to make sure we were happy with our portraits. The atmosphere in the studio was very conducive to a happy painting experience.

This summer is my sons fourth summer attending the art camp here, and it is always a great experience for him. The instructors are skilled and patient. All the materials are provided to permit him to explore a variety of different media. He always comes home proud of what hes created.

My daughter struggled a little with the water color lesson (she has dyslexia) but loved sculpture! Overall she really enjoyed herself.

My firm recently held a summer clerk event at Carries studio. Out of the many events we do throughout the summer, I have never received as much positive feedback from the attendees as I did for this painting class. Carrie and Dawn were fantastic teachers, always willing to help, and put up with 20 lawyers for three hours. We couldnt have had a better experience. I would highly recommend Carrie and her team for group events, individual classes, or anything in between. It is fun, entertaining, and you will have an awesome piece of art to show off to your friends. We will definitely be back!

This was a great class and their technique was great. Maybe less time on the drawing portion and more time spent on the watercolour portion.

Very nice and friendly place. I learned a lot about mixing colors and doing basics of still life and landscape. I recommend this place.
