We love DC Dance! Let me tell you a little bit about the love we have for our dance studio. DC Dance is unlike any other dance studio. The acclaimed staff instills morals, confidence, perseverance, teamwork, creativity and time management. My daughter has not only gained immense confidence since joining this studio but has also gone on to perform at several venues with her dance company. DC Dance is a non-competition studio; which we absolutely love; and I think you will too!

My daughter started at DC Dance after we attended a few of their performances and were wowed by the professionalism, grace, quality and tasteful numbers. We absolutely love that they are a non competitive studio, and have loved watching our daughter truly blossom into a dancer that holds all of the qualities we admired the most. We love DC Dance so much for so many reasons. Both of my girls have gone through their program and my younger one, who is a true dancer at heart, has absolutely flourished. Ms. Christie and Ms. Trisha bring out the best in the girls, each for different reasons. DC Dance teaches not only the best in dance technique, choreography, etc., but responsibility, self-sufficiency, friendship and overall positivity. If you don’t want a cut-throat, dance mom vibe but a top notch performance based studio (with shows even siblings and dads enjoy) this is the place for you!

My daughters have been dancing at DC Dance AZ since it opened in 2014. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this amazing studio. The students are taught ballet, tap, jazz, theater, art and PERFORM 3-4 times a year. The productions are spectacular from choreography/dancing to costumes. Students learn discipline and independence while dancing. One of their annual performances benefits The Autism Society of Greater Phoenix incorporating dance with philanthropy. DC Dance AZ has become our family. I have had the privilege to work with the Apprentice Company for the past 2 years focusing on technique which is necessary for all forms of dance. We are so lucky to have DC dance AZ in our North Scottsdale neighborhood.

Amazing experience dancing and teaching at this studio! Very professional staff, amazing performances, and overall excellent choreography and costumes. I have been dancing here for over 6 years will continue to dance/teach here for as long as I can! Nothing but love for this place.

After moving 6 years ago, we were looking for a new dance studio for my daughter who was in 1st grade at the time. We looked for a while and finally decided to try out DC Dance AZ. We didnt know much about it, but I decided to give it a shot......and I am so glad I did.Christie, the owner, Tricia, the Artistic Director and the other teachers are so caring and have a love of dance that gets transferred to their students. The productions that they present multiple times a year are always top notch, and have given my daughter the opportunity to become more confident on stage and when performing in front a large audience.My daughter has now been attending this studio for over 5 years and loves going to class more and more each year. She has made many friends over the years as well.I could go on and on about the good things....but to sum it up.....DC DANCE AZ is amazing.

My daughter has been a student at DC Dance since the studio opened. She has grown so much during this time, not just as a dancer but also as a person. DC Dance has not only taught my daughter balance, flexibility strength, but also teamwork, perseverance, and responsibility. We have been a part of the wonderful DC Dance family since the very beginning of August 2014 and we continue to be!! My daughters have really loved their time this studio and have learned so much about dance and even more importantly so much more beyond just dance moves. This is a studio of dance and heart. Trisha, the phenomenal artistic director with endless vision and talent and Christie, the amazing, super friendly studio owner are a dynamic duo who really care about each and every dancer. The dance productions that these students and teachers put on every year are absolutely incredible and I say that as a parent who has been to over 25 Broadway shows. They continue to amaze me each and every time. At DC Dance there are no egos, no competition amongst the girls, its all about quality dance and learning how to be the best person inside and outside the studio walls. I will say that back in 2014, my oldest daughter was about ready to give up dancing for good after being at other studio and by a whim we found DC Dance and they almost in instant brought back my daughters love of dancing again and she has been dancing strong ever since. This studio is one of quality, dedication, professionalism, and going on the journey of growth with your child. DC Dance is family.

DC Dance AZ is the best dance studio in Arizona & we are so lucky to have it in North Scottsdale. The studio is BEAUTIFUL and the teachers are technically trained professionals. The community is positive, warm, and supportive. Their shows that are put on 3 times a year are amazing Broadway inspired spectacles that include drama & professional costumes. This studio is a unique GEM!! There is nothing like it.

DC Dance AZ is a one of a kind gorgeous dance studio with classically trained teachers, that offer ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, drama, and so many more amazing classes. My Daughter has been dancing at DC Dance AZ since she was in Kindergarten. She is now going into 7th Grade and is still dancing here and loves every teacher, and dance friend so much we call our this our DC Dance Family! She has learned so much aesthetically which had inspired her to be more confident and has more appreciation for this beautiful art form. We love that this studio is not competitive dance but rather classically trained. The owner is so professional and kind and has treated us like family! The teachers are phenomenal! Trisha, one of my daughter’s favorite teachers has an astonishing professional background in dance and is an amazing choreographer and role model. She choreographs each show as a full Broadway inspired production with elaborate costumes. There are 3 recitals a year, and an annual fundraiser for The Autism Society of Greater Phoenix. DC Dance AZ holds a very special place in our hearts and I highly recommend this one of a kind gem here in North Scottsdale!

DC Dance is such a fantastic studio. The performances provide the students with life long skills that go well beyond dance and the performing arts. I truly appreciate that the costumes, while incredibly beautiful, are always age appropriate and modest. The studio has navigated the current pandemic with the utmost care, concern, and out of the box thinking. We will always be grateful for the lifelong memories that our daughter is creating at DC Dance.

We have been with DC Dance AZ for several years! The instructors and all of those involved are wonderful people who want the best for your dancer. My daughter has been dancing at this studio for 5 1/2 years. I wanted her to have more coordination and grace than I have! Best decision I ever made. Not only has she blossomed into a beautiful dancer under the amazing teachers and curriculum but she has also made best friends. As an only child she has more siblings now than we could have ever imagined! These girls support each other in everything they do. To top it off I have formed friendships with the other parents. It is truly a family.The instructors carefully develop each student. Carefully plan the curriculum to give them a total dance education. The recitals are more a production than a recital. Every show I am more amazed by the growth of the dancers, the costumes, the choreography. The instructors were all professionally trained and have numerous accolades among them all.One of my favorite aspects of this studio is the charitable component. The instructors teach the students to raise money for a cause. They support them, educate them and cheer them on. The studio supports The Autism Society of Greater Phoneix. During the months of January and February the students come together to raise money for this great cause. They get creative and have fun. All while learning firsthand how important it is to give back.If you are looking for an extra-curricular home for your child to grow on every level. This is the place.

My daughter has been dancing at DCDA for around 4.5 years and I cannot say enough about how amazing this studio is! The teachers are incredibly caring but truly focused on teaching the best dance fundamentals and building confidence in the students. The shows are unlike any recital I have ever attended and we get excited for every show to come. Beyond the amazing instruction, the community at the studio truly is special, built around the values of the studio to do your best but respect and appreciate everyone. It is the best well rounded dance program, I am so thankful for this studio and what it has provided my daughter.

My daughter has been dancing at this studio for 5.5 years. It’s a positive, warm, caring community & it has become her second home. This studio does not do competition dancing instead focuses on teaching classical, traditional dance technique. The studio produces incredible Broadway inspired shows that are NOTHING like a traditional recital. The shows incorporate drama and acting as well as gorgeous costuming & incredible choreography. Our friends and family are blown away when they come to see these shows which are performed at major theaters in the valley such as Scottsdale Performing Arts Center & Chandler Center for the Arts. My daughter has advanced in jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap & flamenco & learned to love and appreciate all these types of dance. The studio also always has age appropriate choreography & costuming which is important to me. We love DC Dance AZ and are so lucky to have this unique studio in Scottsdale.

DC Dance is an amazing dance studio! After my oldest daughter joined and fell in love with her experience, her younger sister couldnt wait to join her. Both of my girls absolutely love their teachers, the friendships they have made, and all of the fun they have dancing and performing in this studios PHENOMENAL productions!!!
