This school is REALLY good! I have had my daughter here since Kindergarten and my son will be starting this year. The lady that runs the front Miss G (Betsy) is super! She is amazing in that she not only remembers the kids names (all of them), but she knows who their siblings are (by name!). The TEACHERS are wonderful too! About 23 kids per class. They are amazing at making the students feel part of a group of friends...a team. As for bullying, I am sure every school has bullying, but there is a lot of discussion about it here and they specifically discuss how to help other kids if you see it. The core knowledge program has the kids doing Art, Music, & PE rotated daily and has Math, Science, and Reading daily. ALL kinds of activities- chess club, choir, ALL sports,, art, & etc! Great School!

I attended Desert Springs from 1995-2000. This was the most amazing school in my many years of schooling. I am currently a teacher in Arizona and cant tell you how amazing the teachers and educational activities were. I constantly use ideas, skills, and strategies in my own teaching from what was being taught at that school. The teachers are so nice and the administration is hands above other districts and schools. My teaching reflects the values and beliefs of the teachers at that school. My appreciation for learning and love of education began here.

We LOVE this school! Everyone is welcoming and nice! Coming from DTES we left heartbroken and it was just an awful experience there. We came to this school and it was THE BEST THING! My kids have grown so much here! They are all amazing!!
