My husband and I could not be happier with how our daughters have been given a safe and trustworthy environment to play and learn at SLC. Due to a change in job/move to closer daycare, our daughters no longer attend SLC (as of 8/9/2021) but we definitely recommend them if you are looking for childcare in the area. Our 3.5 year old attended SLC from the time she was 8 months old. As new parents, the staff at SLC made us feel comfortable in choosing them to take care of our daughter. When it was time, we did not hesitate for our second daughter to join SLC when she was 6 months old. The entire staff was highly attentive to caring for our eldest daughters food sensitivities and our youngest was always laughing and smiling when we picked her up from class. The staff was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had (ex. requests for expense reports for reimbursement). One time our daughter grabbed/ate a snack from a classmate that had gluten (she has a mild sensitivity, not an allergy) and the staff called both of us right away to report what happened. We never had to worry about our girls once they were dropped off, SLCs staff proved over and over that they are trustworthy, kind, and the right choice for our family.

SLC has been such a blessing to my daughter and our family. My daughter attended since she was 2 until 5 and the staff has become our family. I have never felt so comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. They are attentive, nurturing, loving and very experienced. Dana, Alyssa, Caroline and Riché have all shown my daughter so much love like she was their own. Do yourself a favor and have your child attend this incredible preschool. You won’t regret it.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more nurturing staff. My son went here for 2 years and genuinely loved going to school. I felt the teachers were fair with occasional problems that would arise. The staff knew him by name and greeted him when he would arrive in the morning. He learned important and sweet things like praying before he eats and being respectful to his teachers. It was sad to have to say goodbye to everyone as he prepares for kindergarten, but I feel blessed that he was able to spend his early years here. Thank you SLC for taking such good care of my little guy!

This place is amazing. I won’t say it’s perfect as there is no definition of perfection, its just the perspective and changes from person to person as everyones needs and expectations are different but they are definitely accommodating and always ready to listen, improve and try their best. Teachers are loving, patient, energetic and try to understand every child and try to meet her/his personal needs making them feel comfortable, loved and cared even in those hard moments of their mood swings and when those tiny listening ears are not working 😊. They handle the situation gently rather being rude to them or ignoring them... highly recommend this place.

Very good vibe and nice hardworking people. My daughter has been going here for years and we love it! The teachers and the staff at the front desk are very nice and professional. Always upbeat. The owner hires the right people and keeps them motivated. They also dont charge you if you miss a day because the child is sick or you are traveling. This flexibility is very important to us. We love and trust this day care!

My son has been going to Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Center at Raintree since he was 8 months old. It has been a wonderful place for my son. He has learned so much and he loves to give hugs to his friends and his teachers. I have no worries when I drop him off at school and there are days he is having so much fun he doesnt want to leave. The teachers are great with the kids, and the front desk staff is always welcoming and quick to solve any issues. We love this place!

Our family could not be more pleased with the loving care our daughter receives at Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Center. We spent many months trying to find the right place, and thankfully, we didn’t give up before finding this amazing center. What makes them so amazing? It begins the moment we walk through the door and Ms. Theresa greets us with her friendly welcome and beautiful smile. She’s not the only one who is so friendly, every person we see smiles and tells us hello. That is so rare these days! Even the chef, Ms. Susie, knows our daughter’s name by heart and says hello every time we pass the kitchen area. Our daughter adores her teachers; she asks to see them and her “friends” each morning. It’s understandable why she feels this way. Her days are fun-filled with activities, learning, healthy foods, and playtime. Knowing that our daughter is in a safe place where she is loved and cared for is a top priority (as it is for any parent). We are extremely pleased with our experience, and can’t say enough about how much we LOVE Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Center!!

My child has been at Scottsdale Child Care and Learning Center for nearly 4 years! The teachers are amazing and the staff quickly addresses issues or concerns. Every time I have had a question it was promptly responded to by the Director of the facility. Front office staff knows you by name and greets you each morning. They know your child, their behaviors, likes and dislikes. My son loves Mrs. Suzys cooking. The classrooms are covered in art and learning materials. Their kindergarten program is also a 10. Its worth every penny.

I love everything about SCL!!!! I go to work everyday knowing that my son is being cared for by loving, caring individuals. The ladies there are always smiling and happy to greet my son and I everyday. The smile they start with is the same smile at the end of the day! They also spray essential oils throughout the day so it always smells pleasant. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!

We absolutely LOVE Scottsdale Learning Center! We have one daughter that is now in Kindergarten and was completely prepared both emotionally and academically. Our other daughter started as in infant is now almost 2. The staff is nurturing, loving and well organized with daily curriculum. The communication has always been consistent whether from teachers or other staff members. As a working mom, I am so grateful for knowing my children are safe, learning and loved on a daily basis.

My daughter has been going here since she was 1 year old. Every single classroom she was in has been wonderful, the teachers caring and most of all, teaching! My daughter is 4 now and has just been accepted into our districts gifted program. I truly believe she wouldnt be there without all the love, support, and learning she got from the great teachers at SLC Raintree! Im sad to leave this great school, our family appreciates all they have done to help our daughter be prepared. Thank you!!!

The school administration and the teachers are not taking care of the Kid properly, its been 2 weeks now my 3 years old started going to this schoolEvery day from the school they use to call me and say your kid is sad and take your kid back to home post lunch even though there is no emergencies,Actually its teacher and school responsibility to keep the children happy and engage them in some activity,If School administration and teachers are failed to keep the kids happy and taking proper care of the kids then there is no point in putting the kids in this school and ending up in paying close $250 per week, so we decided to move to another schoolI want my kids to be in safe hands

As a parent there is nothing more important to me than making sure my child is not only taken care of, but thriving in every way possible. I started my daughter at SCCLC when she was 8 months old. She is now 14 months old and I can easily say it is one of her favorite places to be! Ms. Hailey and all of her teachers in room 2, along with the incredible office staff, have done a phenomenal job in keeping my child safe, happy, cared for, and most importantly loved. What I am grateful for is the amount of communication there is between me and everyone involved in the well being of my child. I can’t tell you how much we absolutely love SCCLC and how it truly feels like a home away from home for my daughter! Having that kind of peace of mind is more valuable than I can say. We love this place!!

This facility is absolutely horrific. When you walk in, the entire building wreaks of urine, most of the children are usually crying. The rooms are dark and dreary with very little decorations, colors, posters, etc. The toys and equipment are filthy. The staff is EXTREMELY fake and disorganized. I once stood at the desk for 25 minutes for them to figure out how to apply a payment. Yet they will call you 5 times in a day to rudely remind you of your balance due when it’s not even late. My son had an absolutely horrible first daycare experience, which was really tough on us. Thankfully we found a new daycare that is absolutely AMAZING. I would not recommend this facility to ANYONE.

I love Scottsdale Learning Center. My 4 year old daughter was enrolled in a different Pre-K for 5 months and cried every single day. On top of that, she learned absolutely nothing. Within a week of coming to SLC, she was happy to go to school and loved her teachers. Miss Sheyda and Miss Autumn were amazing! They helped my daughter overcome her separation anxiety and helped her to love school. My daughter learned so much at this school and is now ready for Kindergarten at Basis.Every single staff member is caring, helpful and great with children. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter was in this school during 1 year and was a terrible experience for her and for me, she was crying every morning. The teachers are so young, inexperience, no patients and no friendly at all, seems like they are doing their jobs in a bad manner for a minimum wage, for me are like baby sitters no teachers and I was looking that my girl could learn new things not someone to help me with the potty train (by the way they are not good in this part neither). I noticed fingerprints bruises on her arms, she was getting sick every 2 weeks with a weird infections. The lady that is in the front desk in the mornings is so rude and after Christmas vacations she told me that theres a fee to put my girls name on the list again. My girl was getting sick to often and the day that we went to school again the same rude lady told me that is a requirement that my girl attend school 2 days a week minimum so I answered to her thatsfine we are going to do homeschool then. I decided to do homeschool and now my daughter is not getting sick anymore, shes really happy and learning more things. When I notified them that my daughter is not coming back to this school they couldnt find her clothe that was in the cubby. Dont torture your kids in this school I took a terrible decision trying this school for my girl, was a big mistake and your kids deserve better.

When looking for a daycare for our 2 year old son with DS, we actually had our heart set on another daycare, but it had a waiting list. His speech therapist (and close friend) suggested SCC - Raintree as she had enrolled her daughter there. God was certainly looking out for us that day. The staff and curriculum has had an unbelievable effect on our son! He is reaching milestones more quickly and has just completely blossomed in their care. His teachers are absolutely amazing not to mention loving and patient with 100% communication. The other comforting aspect of their program is that they promote consistency. They take the time to understand your childs routines, etc and follow through. He has learned so much from them and continues to thrive in the company of the other children. The entire staff are like family now - Im so glad the other place had a waiting list otherwise we would not have found SCC - Raintree! The saying is true - when God closes a door, he opens a window!

I will start with this....When we first came to Scottsdale Learning Center we were very happy with the previous Director (she has since left)Two horrible incidents that have occurred at this school and finalized our time with SLC.The first:One of the teachers got a MRSA infection. She was forced to continue to work with this very dangerous infection, and to top it off, the director did not disclose any information about it! I luckily found out before my son risked exposure and questioned the director about these duplicitous practices, and she assured that she apologized and said she would make sure that they posted a note. I never saw a note.Because I am someone who tends to take people at their word, I allowed another chance to this location (when I should have gone with my gut).which leads me to my second horrible incident...The second:I dropped my son off today, I have disliked this teacher since an earlier altercation. Many of the teachers at this facility are young and (in my opinion) lack the life experience to provide the patient, calm, nurturing, love and care that many young children need to feel secure.I dropped my son, and went to speak with another teacher at the school. His teacher was unaware that I was still at the school. After I left the classroom, I heard and witnessed my son crying and sitting in circle-time but I could not see why he was upset, since I was still at the school, if I thought it was something I could help address I figured that I would. So I went to the front to ask the director to change the cameras to his room....I witnessed this teacher yank my child off the floor in an aggressive manner and begin to aggressively admonish and jar him while pointing into his face as he sobbed. The director felt very uncomfortable and felt the need to break the silence and ask do you know what happened? I continued to watch...The teacher began to place him back down on the floor...before my child could reach sitting position he let out another distressed yell to which she yanked him back off the floor causing his body to be jolted back into her grasp where she began pointing in his face and screaming at him to the point of sheer fear and distress. I stormed down the hall to go save my son from the bullying he was experience from this teacher, while the director chased after me. As I entered the classroom and grabbed my son he said mama! Im okay which my toddler uses to let me know that he was hurt/injured but that he was okay. The teacher snarled at me, He wasnt listening while the director began questioning what had happened. After I wrote this review, the school responded with blatant lies about their practices and referred to the two-year old classroom as challenging. They also referred to their staff as early-childhood educators and this staff member happens to be 19 and many of their other staff are only 16 years old. (these are all facts that you can have checked out)After this incident, I received an apologetic voicemail from the Director, and she wanted to let me know how she handled the staff members inappropriate behavior and offered to switch my childs classroom if I would be comfortable after the situation. But then their response to my previous review was not only smug, but justifying and advocating for their teachers to mistreat children if they deemed it necessary to set boundaries.Their response was very charged and aggressive. They blamed my two-year old for being inconsolable and suggested that the response was appropriate instead of providing my child with love. For all of you parents out there, I hope you never have to experience something like this with your child.

I remember bringing my son here when he was 2. Lasted 2 days. I want people too know, the teachers seem to young and unexperienced. I said my son was acting a little odd already, and when i got him, he had a super high fever and i took him too the doctors, found out he had croup cough. The teacher told me he seemed fine too her.(note when i picked him up snot and dry snot was all over his face) i also found finger print bruises on his legs. When i grabbed his stuff and took him out of this terrbile place just after too days....i saw a kid biting another child, as the teacher (as this facility likes to call them) ignored them. I would not trust this place, my son now goes too somewhere wsy better, where the teachers arent 16-19 years old and have patience

I truly believe this is the best preschool that you will find in Scottsdale. I toured several in the area before I decided on SLC last fall and none of them even came close to comparing to SLC in my opinion. I have a 3 year old son that attends this center and every morning when I drop him off, I feel so good knowing that he is in good hands. His teacher (Mrs. Jill) in room #14 is absolutely amazing and she takes such good care of all of her kiddos and always has something fun and creative going on with them. My son absolutely adores her. Taking care of 3 year olds all day long is not an easy task and she has so much energy and enthusiasm for her job that it really gives me peace of mind knowing that my son is in such a great environment. All of the teachers that my son has been around are wonderful. They are all very patient and are so great with the kids. My son has learned so much this past year and his communication skills have improved so much that I couldnt ask for a better preschool for him to be in. The front desk staff, especially Theresa and Julie are also incredible and are always patient, friendly and professional. The center is also very clean and smells nice. I love that you only have to pay for the days that your kid(s) attend. They are so accommodating for families with changing or fluctuating schedules. All in all, an incredible place and I HIGHLY recommend it! ;)
