Why are you allowing us rapid testing to profit in your parking lot? Does the ymca get a cut? Company is charging 100$ for a covid test thats free at cvs. Shame on you ymca.

Staff is very courteous and friendly. The whole environment is family friendly and makes everyone feel welcome. Their kids play area is AWESOME and the childcare ladies are so sweet and interactive. Excellent, brand new equipment that you never have to wait for and a nice pool and basketball court. My favorite though is the variety of classes. There’s always something to choose from every day of the week!

Clean modern facility that is both a fitness club and community home for people that are looking to belong to an organization that really cares about its members. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this Scottsdale YMCA! Excellent staff with great attitudes, David and Damian in particular are always so helpful! The kids area is awesome, has a slide, Wii, tons of toys and awesome staff that greet my children by name with a big smile every time! Their gym has just been remodeled and has a great lay out. My absolute favorite thing is their yoga classes and teachers! Jan who teaches power and pulse yoga is amazing! She often incorporates a quick word about why we are doing a movement and how it helps our bodies, while still keeping the class fluid. I also very much enjoyed the yoga4all class on Friday taught by Angela. As she speaks throughout the class, its almost like a mini therapy session for the mind and body. These instructors are very well educated and have a very nice flow in their classes. I love this YMCA!

Today my daughter who is 6 started her first day of camp. For the last two weeks, I have been talking to Danielle Gilmore. As a parent I wanted to know what was involved in the camp and wanted to know my daughter would be taken care of. Danielle assured me several times of my daughters safety and such putting excessive emphasis on swimming. I had mentioned to her that my daughter was not a strong swimmer. Danielle assured she would be tested and someone would be there to help and watch her.I received a call an hour after swimming time that my daughter was pushed under water by two girls. I was told that these girls were then sent home and were not allowed to return for two days. MY DAUGHTER WAS PUSHED AND HELD UNDER WATER! How did this happen if she took a test and was going to be watched?AS I became irate on the phone, I asked my mom to pic her up as I was at work. My mom got to the club where they SEARCHED for my daughter (they didnt know where she was) for THIRTY minutes. They then had NO paperwork on her. NO PAPERWORK! That I sent over and signed in the am when I dropped her off. My mother waited as your staff fumbled around not knowing what was going on. She was then told by a staff member that the girls WERE returning to the camp and just coudnt swim. We then proceeded to talk to my daughter who told us there were NO adults in the water during swimming. THEY WERE PLAYING CARDS! She also was given NO swim test and was told to sit on the side why OTHER kids took the test. They then told her to jump in! After they held her under she came up crying, scared and the girls continued to call her a cry baby and other names. And a staff was NO WHERE around. I even emailed Danielle at 820 am because I had a bad feeling even when I dropped my daughter off. It was very unorganized. I emailed Danielle TWICE. NO response and it is not 5pm. I was told she was in the office too.

Front Desk Staff, Training Staff, Weight Room, Water Aerobics, and Child Care are absolutely top shelf at this facility. Great Racquetball Courts, solid aerobics room, well cared for Basketball Gym, and great facility maintenance make for a positive experience. This is a place that you come to that leaves you feeling better about life when you go back out into the world.

Do not bring your kids here for AKC care. The “teachers” are severely uneducated, do not engage the children, allow aggressive behaviors between children and offer no direction at all. One teacher even started handing my 2 year old her phone as a distraction! When we did swimming lessons, she dunked my toddler underwater and she has had a severe phobia ever since and won’t swim, plus a high turn over in teachers just spells disaster. They show no empathy towards kids getting hurt and just let them cry when they get an injury. BEWARE FOR YOUR KIDS SAFETY!

I have been playing basketball here on Sundays for over 5 years. In all that time only one staff member has made me feel welcome here. About 4 months ago I was attached by another basketball player, to the point the police were called because he wouldnt leave. I was surprised by this behavior at the YMCA. I was more disappointed to find out that the guy in question wasnt even a member. I go back yesterday to see a couple of the fellas and to my disappointment the same guy is still there, doing the same nonsense. He still isnt a member, I think I will try Planet Fitness , makes me sad.

I have to say how disappointed I am with this YMCA. My son has played summer basketball here for the last 4 summers and Ive never had a problem before this last Saturday. Adrian at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful. I will not be coming back here and cancelled my membership.

This place is great, always found the front desk staff helpful as well as roving trainers. Also, they pro-rate fees and have an extensive lineup of classes.

It is a center for relaxation, spacious, clean and with easy access and ample parking. The instructors are qualified, objective and always ready to clarify doubts and help us to improve ourselves. The reception staff are friendly, smiling when welcoming. It is a community where energy flows positively.
