I was first introduced to Body & Brain in May of 2021. Since then I have embraced the practices that is taught by this center and it has changed my life. I am now able to move stagnant heavy energy within myself to allow for new light energy to flow. The somatic movement that is taught in class really helps the body rid itself of tension and also helps with boosting organ detoxification. I have taken part in workshops hosted by the masters at Body & Brain and my life was changed forever. The practices taught at Body & Brain are incredibly simple yet bring an amazing complexity of change in the physical and energetic body. For everything that Body & Brain offers, this should be something that anyone of any age group in need of healing considers!

I had a treatment with Master JungHee of Body and Brain in Scottsdale. I went in with pain in my knee and back. During the treatment, Master JungHee worked with my stomach area and I felt great relief in my hip. She showed me how to do this to myself with a belly tool. She also worked with my flexibility and to open blockages in my body. I felt great when I left and still feel much better days later. I would certainly return for another because it affected my physical, energy and spiritual body.

I started at Brain & Body Scottsdale about 2 months ago. It has helped me tremendously to reduce stress and practice self-love. Master Terri is very warm, kind and compassionate. She is a true healer and is great at guiding you along your journey to better health and wellness. I also really enjoy Monday evening pillow class. You practice releasing tension in your body through the use of a wooden pillow. I always become so relaxed in this class that I catch myself falling asleep. Perfect way to end a Monday!I would HIGHLY recommend anyone give Brain & Body classes a trial run for a week. You will quickly notice how much positive change it brings into your life!

I came to the center to see if I could find a practice to help achieve better balance and flexibility.What I found was a comprehensive program that helps with all aspects of my well being. This is a place that assists with my total well being, helping me to eliminate stress and improve my joints and overall body function. Most importantly, however, it helps me greatly to calm my mind, deal with stress and just be happy and feel good.Master Sun Gwang in the Scottsdale center is wonderful and supportive. All of the instructors I have seen have been competent, show a strong desire to improve the health and lives of those willing to work at it, and always have a smile on their face.It can be rigorous, but very rewarding. I highly recommend it.

Body & Brain Yoga & Tai Chi has played a major role in my personal development and perception of self. It has become a sort of sanctuary for me, where I can go either virtually or physically to release stagnancy and connect deeper with myself. The practices are simple yet very effective, and you see results and relaxation almost instantly.My time with B&B has shown me just how powerful the mind is, as well was the importance of taking care of oneself. It certainly teaches discipline and dedication (really just making time for one’s self/well-being), and it’s incredibly worth it!My advice:be patient with yourself. As I’ve discovered, that which I find some resistance towards is often the next thing I need in my journey. There have been times where I almost let my excuses pull me from doing a class, but those are the days when I tend to have the most important breakthroughs. + I ALWAYS feel better, more clear and connected after EVERY class - without a doubt. I started a 21 day 5 organ healing with MASTER SUNGWANG! OMG! she has helped my body rid of so much pain and to have my body be whole again...For the first time in 15 yrs I feel like a brand new person in a brand new body. Dont get me wrong I still have more to do but for now SHE is a HUGE BLESSING in my life. GOD has given her a gift that I hope everyone can feel what she has given to me! I live in Northern California and have been with Body & Brain Yoga for almost eight years. I made a trip to Arizona recently and took advantage of my membership to use the center in Scottsdale. The Body & Brain Yoga is a well-known organization and offers classes throughout the U.S. and some other countries worldwide. You can use any of the centers when you become a member, and thats a big plus!There are various types of yoga studios and practices available, however Body & Brain Yoga offers simple and practical exercises that are very effective for the individual to stay in shape physically and mentally.People of all ages, young and old, attend these classes and enjoy them, since the stretches and exercises are simple but very powerful. It depends on the individual to build her/his body with even simple exercises. It has to do with persistency and consistency more than anything else.If you can feel and connect with the energy of the universe, you will enjoy the meditation exercises and achieve calmness and tranquility within yourself. The energy dance exercises will give you the opportunity to express yourself freely and thats one of my favorite exercises. I also enjoy the Tai Chi exercises that are simple and very powerful.At Scottsdale center, expect nothing but the best. Master Sun Gwang has been with the organization for many years and can help you achieve your goal. From improving yourself physically to boosting your energy level to getting emotional support, she is always there with an open heart to help you. You can do research on different Yoga studios, but you will probably not find a place like Body & Brain Yoga, because you can call it home with all the love and attention that you will receive form Master Sun Gwang and other members of this unique and multifaceted organization.As far as COVID19 is concerned, the center is kept very clean and social distancing is observed in the classes. The staff at the Scottsdale Body&BrainCtr are really quite wonderful. There is kindness as they support beginners as well as more experienced members. This attitude is clearly reflected in the harmony of the members. I had variety of weaknesses yet am doing quite well now. In 3 months I lost 15lbs &my knees are so happy!

First of all, wow! Im 73 and Im beginning to get my life back. Im getting my agility and flexibility back again and the classes are fantastic and really helpful. Not only with my mobility but also my body overall is doing better. I am able to do things I havent been able to do for almost 20 years. The staff here are so helpful and respectful. I never feel embarrassed or uneasy - it is very comfortable. No one judges you.

Wonderful center where you do yoga, but also and more importantly connect your body with your brain, soul. It’s a lot of energy work that is so essential for a balanced life. Stretching to allow energy to flow and to make your body just feel better, remove blockages both physical and emotional, and become a more balanced person. I love this center and this practice.

Terri was ready for me and waved me in from outside as soon as I was by the entrance (even though I was a little early and it was my first time). She warmly welcomed me and gently guided me through various stages of releasing stress, emotional pain and trauma. She also helped me get back in touch with my body and get me out of my head. I felt very cared for throughout the entire session from a person with an incredibly compassionate heart. The entire time, even though I had no idea what was going on half the time being it my first time, she guided with me through her gentle voice and made me feel at ease. I could really feel she cares a lot and wants people to break negative cycles and become stronger, better versions of themselves. She is extremely kind and you wouldnt regret giving her a try.

I love my experiences with Dahn Yoga. Its just the right type of yoga for me. Its not just about getting healthy with physical exercise, its also about getting healthy in mind and spirit as well. The camaraderie between classmates and the instructor is special and I feel very comfortable there. I enjoy the sharing and tea time after class to share any thoughts or special experiences that I had. Dahn yoga is truly unique and I think is very beneficial for a healthy body and mind. This is a amazing and unique place! It allows you to go at whatever pace you need to receive the benefits you desire. Its challenging if you go full out or if you have an injury such as my shoulder issue you can adjust accordingly and still get result. Its great for rehabilitation of any part of your body. I promise you every muscle you have will be stronger in a short amount of time. The added bonus is your energy will increase! The unique part that you will not get in any other yoga class is experiencing energy meditation and learning how to incorporate the breath. Thats where the brain activation comes in sending healing energy to your entire body. Try it, youll love it!

Going to the Scottsdale Body and Brain center has been the best thing that happened to me. I realized how much my body needed these simple exercises and techniques to feel healthy and motivated. Master Brian is great and guides us according to our needs. I have had a lot of benefit from Master Terri and Master Jang’s teachings. There is something for every starting and searching human being to find something beneficial for own personal, spiritual and physical growth here. I have been going to classes almost daily, and believing that my brain is mine and not the other way. I am particularly fond if Tao Lectures. Can’t wait for Monday evenings to come... I would recommend Body and BrIn to everyone who wants to invest in themselves. Definitely 5-star. Oh, and how about the classes I can follow with Zoom video conferencing from the comfort of my home? I have been a member of Dahn Yoga for about a year and a half now. Dahn yoga is very different from other kinds of yoga, in a good way. They integrate various techniques and add some unique methods to make it a very holistic method to healing oneself. Ive seen people who suffer a variety of serious medical conditions make amazing progress over a few months of consistent practice. The Dahn yoga masters are well trained, attentive and helpful. My experience at Body and Brain in Scottsdale has been a life changing, positive influence that has increased my health and happiness. I began my practice here with the goal of less back pain, better balance and overall improved health. With the assistance of the Master trainers, I am accomplishing my goals and much more in only 6 months. Since studying Dahn Yoga, I have had the opportunity to join classes that have helped me understand myself more deeply and know how to attain my goals. By improving my own health, I plan to reach out to our community in the near future to share this positive experience.As a nurse I had helped so many others with major health issues. Long days working in Hospice left me depleted of energy for myself. Although I greatly miss and loved my occupation, I now feel the positive results of this practice, leaving me with a wonderful awareness of my body , a positive attitude toward helping myself, and energy to enjoy life. I love Dahn Yoga. I joined Dahn Yoga about three months ago. I was looking for a place that could help me get my life back from joint pain and stiffness due to arthritis. I signed up to eliminate my allergies. Not only did it work but I got more than I expected. I found myself improving my physical condition and gaining more energy which allowed me to do more of the things I enjoy. I have been a member with Dahn Yoga for 15 months and I now have a three year membership because of the wonderful life changes it has done for me. I was diagnosed with Lymphoedema in my right leg about three years ago, which causes severe swelling in the entire limb. I wasnt at a good place in my life in terms of health, strength, and my balance was way off. Through meditation, healing and strengthening classes, and Tai Chi, I have gained so much muscle strength in my abdomen and lower body allowing me to do what I thought was impossible. I have become so much stronger and have seen and felt many changes on the right side of my body and leg. Even my Vascular doctor said the vein she ballooned in the groin had become bigger and better in flow!! :) Also, by getting in touch with my unconscious brain everyday, it has given me bliss, peace, less anxiety, courage, and hope during moments of meditation. Great atmosphere, the sweetest people that truly care to help change your life. I have seen so many other members over the past few months go through dramatic changes for the better too, which is encouraging as we are all there to love and support one another! Not to mention my balance and flexibility has improved in helping my condition remain aligned, which means less pain! :)

Three months ago my body was very stiff and I had a lot of pain in my shoulders. I went to Dahn Yoga to try and help with these problems. Yes! It has helped so much. I can move much better and the pain in my shoulders is almost gone. But more than that, I have gained movement I never thought about having and I love going to class. The staff at Dahn Yoga is very caring and helpful. It is the best thing I have ever done for my health and well being. Thank you Dahn Yoga!

I recently took the Shim Sung workshop offered at Dahn Yoga Scottsdale and I got so much more out of the workshop than I ever imagined. Dahn Yoga is not like any other form of yoga that I have experienced. After this special workshop I have seen many improvements not only in my physical health but also in my everyday life. Some examples of the changes I have seen since taking Shim Sung include: improved relationships, better communication, increased self-confidence, less indecision, greater flexibility and strength, reduced stress, I changed jobs and get so much more enjoyment out of work now, I feel closer to my family, Im able to help others in a way that doesnt drain my energy, I am more diligent and committed to my own well being and growth, I have more patience and forgive quickly and I have noticed that I smile and laugh more now.Everyone should take the Shim Sung workshop! I am certain that you will be surprised at what you learn through this experience. I was skeptical at first and today I can proudly say I have taken the workshop three times and each time was like giving myself a beautiful gift. Six months ago I was suffering from severe knee pain. I could only walk short distances before I would be limping to the nearest chair. I could not sleep at night without pain medication. When I sought medical advice, both my doctor and physical therapist told me that the only solution to my severe knee pain was knee replacement surgery. It was hard to believe that was my only choice. I instead did some research and found Dahn Yoga…a healing yoga. I signed up for a short 90 day program because I was a little skeptical…I had had so many failed treatmentsI attended class 3 to 4 times a week and in the first month I noticed a significant improvement. There was less pain and more flexibility but I wanted to take my pain down even more. Master Brian suggested magnets and a few specific exercises.The results have been amazing!! I continue to take class but I also use magnets that Master Brian suggested in one of my healing sessions. I just use them for 3-4 minutes a day and stretch for another 4-5 minutes or so. If my day is too busy I simply use the magnets. They almost immediately reduce any knee pain that I may be having. I can hardly believe the difference that Dahn Yoga has made in my life! My pain has been reduced by 90% and I believe that soon I will have no pain. If you have not tried yoga or magnet therapy for pain, I highly recommend it. It works for me!

Body & Brain training helped me to live free of my anxiety, which I had depended on medication for before. The dynamic classes touch on everything I need including, physical stretching and strengthening exercises, energy meditation, tai-chi and ki-gong. I was welcomed at the center the second I appeared at the doorstep. Because I am in a pretty weakened condition after fighting cancer and and various complications for 6 months, I was a little nervous about trying Yoga for the first time. It was hard but I was so encouranged by the instructor, Jung nim, I have made amazing progress. I can actually scratch my nose with my big toe..yep!!! The other members of the class are interesting and kind. I enjoy attending class. I try to fit 3 classes per week into my extremely busy schedule. One wonderful side effect to my yoga class is that on the nights I attend, I sleep the deepest and most restful sleep I can remember!! I am so happy that I found this center and ventured in. Come and join us. It is fun!

Body & Brain really changed my life. I was hopelessly lost after suffering through heavy anxiety and depression (anxiety & major depressive disorder, panic disorder, emotional numbness, anhedonia, etc.) in college, both my body and mind was destroyed from bad lifestyle and emotional habits I built and practiced unconsciously throughout all my life. Through the practice in B&B I was able to address my problems for the first time and work to overcome them. It gave me hope that I can find happiness again and that I can help others as well as myself. I joined Body and Brain Yoga and Tai Chi, in 2013, with the intention of only trying a class. That intention became more powerful than I could have ever imagined! Over the course of five years, one class led to several classes, a membership, advanced training, and now employment with Body and Brain.Body and Brain is different from other types of yoga because it is Korean mind/body training. This training includes brain wave vibration, core strengthening, basic stretching, cool energy up(head and chest)/warm energy down (to the abdomen), bowing exercises, tapping, Tai Chi and Ki Gong, Dahn Mu, brain education, wooden pillow, healing life tool, magnet healing, intestinal exercises, and other life and health enhancing exercises and tools that help people balance and maintain balance.How do people maintain “balance” in today’s world? The twenty-first century life is one of too much information and too many demands. Many people are experiencing higher levels of stress and more work expectations than ever before in history. Regardless of medical advances, too many stressors and too many expectations—along with unlimited information-- are creating more and more illness and societal ills. People cannot be “on” 24/7. We are not designed to do that!Body and Brain is a healthy way to rejuvenate and refresh oneself, daily! There is something for everyone and everyone will benefit. My experience with Body & Brain Yoga, Tai Chi In Scottsdale is more than what I expected. Ive practiced yoga and meditation for an extended period. My problem is to keep up with it consistently on daily living. The center manager, Brian guided and helped me to practice consistently and diligently. This location is excellent to learn Tai Chi and Qui Gong, too. Thank you for your support!

Words can not express how grateful I am to have come across Dahn yoga. I have only been practicing for 4 months now, but it has completely changed my life. Having suffered from depression, anxiety and panic attacks for over half my life, I was skeptical I would ever be able to conquer these issues. I have practiced other types of yoga and as a massage therapist I have been exposed to many different types of energy healing including Reiki, shiatsu, polarity therapy and more, but nothing has made me feel as strong, self-confident and able to love myself as Dahn yoga. Its such a great combination of mental/emotional and physical exercise! I learned how to use Life Particles to heal myself and others. Also with the help of Master Jung and several workshops offered through the Dahn yoga center, I have learned many breathing and meditation techniques as well as mind/body exercises, which, surprising to me, resulted in almost completely eradicating my mental ailments. Not to mention I am healthier and more flexible than I have ever been! I am so lucky to have had the chance to meet the wonderful members of this center. I am on a track to become a physical therapist, and will definitely be using this for myself and others in a healing capacity one day. Im only 29 but I hope to practice Dahn yoga the rest of my life! I highly recommend it :)

I am so thankful to have been guided to Dahn yoga, it has changed my life! I first became aware of Dahn when I was in Chicago preparing to move to AZ. I was in a bookstore and Ilchee Lis book, Call to Sedona, basically jumped off the shelf at me! Read the book and was mesmerized! Months later made it to AZ, went to Sedona and saw the book again and went, oh yea I should check this out and when I got home went to a local store I frequent and there was a brochure for Dahn yoga at the check out. Within a couple days I was a member of Dahn yoga! It has changed me for the better at every level of my being, mentally, physically, emotionally! I am stronger, more grounded and flexible, am more calm and peaceful inside, just in general a greater sense of well being. On top of all that I have met so many wonderful people at Dahn yoga and appreciate the connections and the time we have sharing our experiences its an extremely supportive environment!! I recommend it to everyone!

Come experience it for yourself!!!I was guided to Dahn Yoga about 4 months ago, it is life changing! I was just looking to get back into yoga for a workout knowing I had enjoyed it in the past but what I found has been most wonderful!! I am so thankful I was led here. To me it is an amazing way to connect to yourself, heal, relieve stress, strengthen, get flexible and find your happiness. I have been on a spiritual journey for the past 2+ years (kicked into high gear by the sudden loss of my mother). I have done reiki, energy healing, counseling, classes, books etc. etc. but nothing made me feel better and more connected to myself in every way. Dahn yoga encompassesh it all! I can feel my body releasing stress and getting stronger and more flexible! My emotional and mental state has improved so much and I feel more connected to life. I am very blessed to have found Dahn yoga; the instructors and members are so supportive and caring. Dahn yoga has changed my life. Before I started, I was unhappy and overweight. It wasnt until my unhappiness was starting to affect my job and my relationships with my friends and family that I knew I had to do something about it.I started Dahn and began to see a change in my outlook. I was happier and didnt let the stress of work affect my day. My family and friends also noticed the change too. They began to tell me that I was smiling and laughing more. Not only that, within a few months I had lost 30lbs!All of the teachers are amazing and the members are very welcoming. Im so happy I found Dahn Yoga when I did!

I always arrive the 1st monday of the month for the best wooden pillow class so many different uses so much pain which follows with gain the masters have great energy and always benefit from each sessioncoming to scottsdale center is great for your health and energy and you always want to come back I have been doing dahn yoga over 6 years and cant wait for more gets more exciting and the stress melts away

I have been a member of Dahn Yoga for 9 months now. I had never taken yoga before. At first, I joined because physically I felt very tired at this midpoint of my life. Through the classes I learned to be a hardy individual who doesnt give up - we learn to cultivate and use our mind-body energy in our class training & in workshops. I enjoy the yoga, meditation, tai chi, & brain wave vibration classes very much. I look forward to shaking out all my weekly stresses on brain wave vibration Fridays! In addition, I have had a number of accupressure healing sessions with Master Jung. I have since lost over 35 pounds (a miracle in mid-life), and received alot of support from her when a family member was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She has helped me so much, I cant even imagine what my life would be like at this point if I hadnt joined Dahn Yoga!
