I was a student at this school from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. 25 years ago. I am amazed it almost looks the same besides a new building attached. My teachers rode me hard. I thought at the time they just had it out for me. But Because of them I went on from 3rd grade to a school for the gifted. Apparently I turned out to be a child prodigy. And they thought the excessive bullying was holding me back. So they sent me to a school that was k-12 and I was taking high school classes by 4th grade. So I just wanted to say thanks.

FP reopened in Fall 2014. Great new school for the West Seattle community. Im thrilled my kids dont have to bus to Thurgood Marshall Elementary to be in a Highly Capable Cohort classroom.

Shout out to ms Wilkie for being thte best 5th grade teacher ever! Helping me when I sucked at reading and my brother but waking up at like 7 but it was worth it I’m currently a 7th grade but overall this school was the best. MISS YOU MS WILKIE ❤️❤️
