Zultimate Ballard is a great place to learn and test your skills in the Martial Arts. The Senseis provide beginning through advanced techniques. It is a fun place to train.

Ive tried taking martial arts previously over the years but I have a short attention span so either the classes were too disciplined and boring or they made me feel guilty if I went a week without practicing on my own at home. Z Ultimate is different - they making learning martial arts fun and there is encouragement and celebration rather than guilt! The sanseis manage to have me laughing my way through lessons and enjoying my time with them even though we are learning a disciplined art form. And as a woman I feel so much more confident and safe knowing that I can defend myself if I ever need to. Thank you Z Ultimate!

Cannot overstate the positive experience weve had at Z-Ultimate Ballard. Much more than just a dojo would apply here - the instructors have helped our son develop not only his martial arts skills but his self-respect and discipline outside of the dojo. They invest in him as a person and communicate regularly with us as a family. Sensei Jennifer and her staff are fantastic instructors who both push and care for their students. One of the best experiences weve had in Seattle.

My wife & kids have been attending classes there for 4 years - and we love it. The instructors know what they are doing, especially with the young ones. My children look forward to going - which is saying something. They know how to direct and focus even the youngest of children, doing everything to ensure that they learn respect and patience as well as martial arts.As for adult learners: the senseis are excellent with them as well. I cant say enough about how much we like everything about the dojo. It is fun, convenient, and educational.Its a very welcoming environment, and the material taught is a combo of traditional forms and practical self defense techniques. The fees include group classes as well as a private lesson each week, which is what sets this dojo apart from most.According to my wife: The private lessons are immensely helpful for beginners, for mastering a particularly difficult technique, or for advancing more quickly if you have had prior experience with martial arts. As much as I enjoy and would recommend the adult classes, my kids (ages 7 and 11) love the kids classes as well. I have seen a tremendous improvement in both their physical skills and their behavior since they started, and they are genuinely excited to go to every class. Plus, the location is great - there is a garage for parking, and I can run next door to Trader Joes to pick up groceries while the kids are in class.

This is a fantastic place for you or your kids to learn Kempo in a fun, safe and clean atmosphere. Sensei Jennifer is a fantastic instructor and her staff is always attentive and respectful.
