I taught a Young Entrepreneurs class here and the kids were great. They were all respectful and a fun bunch. The school is old but very nice. The resources the students have are huge. They do need some more funding for tech and materials though.

Genuinely the worst school Ive ever had the displeasure of going to. The orchestra at Eckstein is the only thing keeping that broken down mess of a school gold. If you want your child to be in a safe and caring environment, this is not the school for you. No one there cares which makes an extremely depressing environment.

This school is the epitome of anxiety. so much is going on and no one can do anyting to stop it. its chaos and people are scared. help the children here because they dont know what theyve gotten themselves into by going here. it was cause even the happiest of kids to be diagnosed with depression. while trying to think of the pros of the school, there are none that i can think of. its a bad place here.

Most teachers are really great! The band program seems really good as well but the school itself needs renovations like CRAZY

I went to school here for 2 years. Its like any typical middle school but, with more fights. I have a younger brother and from my experience I dont feel comfortable with him going. The teachers are okay. I had Mr. Mayo for math and Im now taking advanced math courses. Other subjects like language arts and social studies are bad areas for me. The teachers DID NOT help at all.

The community is very tight knit, and the teachers push students to their very best and beyond. Teachers truly care about their students and the music and arts programs are phenomenal, Eckstein has breeded exceptional students.

I’m an 8th grader at Eckstein and Eckstein is a pretty old school! Everything is breaking. what I’ve learned is that are some REALLY oblivious teachers teaching there. One time a couple of Kids took off the metal part of the air vent and climbed through it and others throw toilet paper wads at the ceiling in the girls bathroom. During school last year a girl climbed out of one of the windows onto an unstable surface just to get a used water bottle.. none of the teachers saw.SAVE THIS SCHOOL!!!! We need to fix it

This school has wonderful teachers and an amazing music program. It is a great school.

My daughter attends Eckstein, she enjoys the teachets and staff. I will say the school does need remodeling or to be rebuilt. Its a very old school, I do review her home work and assignments. Requirements average standards. Being able to understand that its not only the schools responsibility but us as parents to educate outside of class increases the childs level of excellence in academics.

I mean it’s okay? It’s not the greatest school ever and it’s not the worst. The roof smells really bad, and the teachers mostly care for the students. Some classes although have a lot of flaws and are not fun to be in. Overall, my 6th grade experience was pretty good, it’s a good school for making new friends if you find the right ones. But it’s also full of influencers, good and bad ones. The bullying level is pretty high especially for 6th grades and oh the drama level has exceeded the scale. It’s honestly up to the parents to decide whether or not they want their children to go to a school like eckstein. Just know that good and bad things can and will come out of their experience. One thing I will say is Eckstein is a great school in acceptance there isn’t one person or group of people who is discriminated against by the staff for their sexual orientation, race, religion, etc. Although, the students can be different in terms of what they accept or believe in, the school is very encouraging to everyone. There has been a few incidences with depression and sexist substitutes, there aren’t that many and eckstein is pretty good in dealing with them. -Lauren 2018

I have only been in the building for caucusing. The school building was old but seemed reasonably well maintained.

Eckstein is a really fun school I mean its a little old but the teachers are pretty cool

Its a pretty Good school tbh. There are a few not so great teachers, but most are pretty ok. The problem I have with it though is that the building is really old and worn out.

I couldnt find a way to give this school a lower review so one star I guess. Everyone here is addicted to drugs and depressed and the teachers are ok, but the kids are wack and eat the walls sometimes.

Eckestein middle school is horrible i went there and the kids are so mean the teachers are not good at there jobs the new principal all she does is text on her phone the school has no space for kids we have to study outside! Hamilton international middle school is so much better the learning is better the teachers really love the students kids are friendly its in more safe neighborhood it is clean i just love hamilton my mom has changed me to Hamilton and so far i love it eckstein is horrible

I grew up in this area of Seattle, WA. I loved it here until we had to move to Edmonds, WA. Edmonds High was just as good. But I do miss my home town in the Lakewood area of Seattle.

Eckstien is fine the building is a little worn out not great or bad. Although they have an amazing orchestra program
