We are from China, and because I will work in Seattle for a while, my son has been here for 4 months. Heather and all the teachers in my sons class are very nice! Heather is the best director that I have ever seen. Primitively , because of language barrier, my son always cry when he went to school. Then, Christina will come and talk with my son to comfort him. Heather asked me his favorite toys, and to my surprise, they really bought him special toys. My son never cried since then. I have to say, Heather really has rich experience. This school also has male teachers and they are very nice and full of love. I always see male teachers hold the kids and read stories to them. Although my husband is not in America, my son didnt become timid during these months, he becomes more activity since he can communicate well with his male teachers. I am very appreciate that we can go to Green Lake Preschool. We will miss here a lot!Since I am going to work in Seattle for a period of time, fortunately my son can spend four months here. At the beginning, the child was unwilling to go to kindergarten because of a language barrier and cried every time he went. In fact, I do n’t think it matters, because he does n’t like to go to kindergarten in China. The teacher here comes every time to take the initiative to help, talk to the child, give him toys and so on. One day, the headmaster Heather came over and asked me if I had any toys that I particularly liked. After I said that, they took the whole class of children to buy toys for him. Since then, my children no longer cry when they go to kindergarten, and they especially love to play with children. I think the headmaster is very experienced, and there are male teachers in the class, which is very beneficial to the growth of boys. Male teachers are also very loving, often holding children to tell stories. My son has been more lively for months here. I am very fortunate to have been in kindergarten for a while. I will miss here in the future!
