My husband and I had decided to move our youngest child to a preschool closer to home verses work. It was a lengthy process to find any schools that had openings that met our standards.Due to high demand for childcare in the area, we thought it was near impossible to find a place. Luckily, we heard through the grapevine that Greenlake preschool had recently opened a second location near Woodland Park. Thank goodness for word of mouth and fellow neighbors who are educators. This place is wonderful.My child is happy and the staff is great. I feel confident they only hire the best and aim for high teacher retention through competitive benefits. They strive to keep the children engaged and happy. The facility is new, clean, and very well maintained. They provide the children with nutritious meals and snacks. They keep to schedules and have their days planned out so you know what is always taking place in the classroom.Thanks Woodland Hall!

Prior to my son starting in September, we had no experience with any daycare/Preschool so I honestly did not know what to expect. Now three months later I have seen the care, support and love my son and other kids have recieved here and we feel so fortunate for having them in our community. All of the teachers are GREAT! The building is new, has character and is warm. I love picking up my sweet boy everyday - seeing how happy he is always laughing and excited to return the next day. Highly recommend!

My daughter attended this preschool for the past year. She was in the town room and she absolutely loved it. She made many great friends, and the teachers gave her nothing but love and kindness. When she first started, she was very quiet and shy, and didnt want to speak up during circle time or to let someone know she had to use the restroom. Her teachers helped her get out of her comfort zone and is now very talkative with everyone. She learned how to write out her full name, can recognize and write numbers and the letters of the alphabet. My daughter is very picky and she said the food that was served was very yummy.The center is located in the Ballard area, and a few blocks away from the zoo. The area is a nice and quiet, and we didnt have any problems. The teachers are sweet and caring, and do look out for the children. (Guess what, theyre children, so its normal for them to get a scratch or scrap when running around or playing) If you want your kids having fun and learning while youre at work, then this is the place.

Beautiful preschool. The staff is very friendly. The classrooms are big and well organized and they have a wonderful playground. A great addition to the West Woodland neighborhood.
