Hoover’s has been so good for our busy 5 year old! He has really enjoyed classes and with practice he has made great progress. I love their word of the month, the life lesson they have each class and the instructors enthusiasm to teach even young ones. They teach so many good life skills as well and the half hour classes are perfect for my son. I highly recommend Hoover’s Martial Arts!

Hoover Martial Arts has been part of our family for many years. My husband had the pleasure of taking lessons as a child in the late 80s. Now our 7 year old is testing for his black belt this summer!This program has taught our son integrity, discipline and self confidence. Our son looks forward to going to class and has made some great friends through the years. I have seen kids as young as 4 and 60+ enjoy and thrive in Taekwondo! Additionally, Larry Hoover does a great talk on Making Great Choices to elementary schools in the area. Through his classes and in this talk he manages to teach an important lesson while keeping kids of all ages engaged! I would recommend this program to everyone!

This place and the instructors are top notch! They care so much about the craft and kids, they want them to have fun but also learn to be decent humans at the same time. What an asset to our community and to help with my parenting village. They also do amazing birthday parties.

I have been a regular student and instructor to date since the first day Master Hoover opened his doors in Sioux Falls, SD in 1986. Both of my children have earned up to their 1st and 3rd degree black belts under his direction. Our family has been a part of Master Hoovers martial arts program since 1989. His teaching style customizes to fit all ages. Our children and grandchildren joined for the physical work outs. They gained self confidence, self discipline. At the beginning of each class there was typically a 2 minute discussion with the daily messages from peer pressure and choices to respect for parents, teachers and positive attitude.I joined later as a middle aged man with chronic back spasms. 25 years of stretches and workouts kept these at bay!Much respect for Master Hoover, Mr. B and all the staff for the positive influence on our family.

Master Larry Hoover and Mr. Rory B. are superbly skilled martial artists and top-notch instructors. As a 68 year old I recently earned my black belt in taekwondo after 4 years of hard work on my part and excellent, knowledgeable, and patient guidance from these two gentlemen. We initially started our kids at Hoovers to get them into an activity and see if they would like it. I quickly learned that Master Hoover and his staff teach so much more than just the physical parts of martial arts.
