I was there in 78 79 walt otigaurd was the owner at that time paul shaffer,paul pancrats rita.pancrats were some of the consolers that I remember mr b was head of the barn I thought it was a great place then and still do today had school onsite some went to in town school some didnt lol had chores to do I was in the barn as much as I could be went to state and local fairs showed horses and sheep 8 horse hitches thru parades and arenas had a pretty good experience there still think about it would like to stop in sometime when life isnt so busy lol thanks to all Dale 😁

I really like this place. Staff really helped my son. He discharged from here and now he joined the Marines. Great program.

This place saved my life! I was a bad drug addict and was involved in gang violence for a long time and department of corrections sent me to mccrosans. I was in a bad state of mind and blamed other people for my actions. After a year I have learned so much from the place and my life has changed around. I’m joining the marine corps in 2 months and the idea of that would of never crossed my mind a year ago and I’m grateful.

It helped out a lot. Was there for a while, but it was also worth it. One of the many things that I learned through state required groups was that the only person that I could change was me, but I had to want to change.

I have worked at McCrossan Boys Ranch for 15 years now. It is amazing the number of life changes I have seen over those years. I am truly thankful that a place like this exists to help boys in need. They really do provide New Hope for a Better Life.

I had a family member that went there for nearly 2 years and actually left with worse behaviors than he went there for in the first place. Thankfully he was transferred. The supervision is lacking, as there are things that happened to him on several occasions with several other boys there that shouldve never happened had the kids been strictly supervised 24 hours a day. We found out about these incidents after he left. The unit he was housed in was old, dingy and smelled musty. I would recommend looking into other homes if you have the choice.

This place is a wonderful location for adolescent boys.
