This place is amazing!! Rick Smith (the owner) was very easy to get in touch with for scheduling lessons!! He was also very friendly and thorough during the driving lessons I had with him before I took my road test, which I passed!! I felt extremely confident during the test because of Rick’s instruction. I strongly recommend Middlesex Driving Academy to anyone trying to get a license! You will not regret it!!!

Highly recommended driving school! I passed the road test in my first attempt. All the instructors are very helpful and patient and they don’t yell or shout or scare you while driving. You can also take additional private lessons as needed to focus on specific areas that need improvement like parallel parking. Ms. Ryan and Ms. Belliveau were super awesome in helping me boost my confidence before and on the day of the test.

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and terrific with my son. Great value

I am writing this review with immense pleasure. I am a beginner and was looking for driving schools around and fortunately came across this school and spoke to Mr.Smith. He is my driving instructor. He is a very kind, cool guy and so soft spoken. He will teach you everything you need to be safe and keep others safe once you hit the road. He and the school are so very welcoming and friendly. As I am a working lady and only have weekends, Mr.Smith generously made sure that he squeeze in one hour slot in his busy schedule in the weekends. His parallel parking and three point turn techniques are the best. I highly recommend Mr.Smith and his school.

My time here at Middlesex driving academy was great. All of the instructors were very professional and took the time to instruct me properly and make me successful in my state drivers test. In particular, the owners of the business Mr Smith, really cares about all of his students. His general interests in teaching his students to be successful needs to be pointed out. I am really glad I was a student at Middlesex driving academy.

I worked with Mr. Smith for several months before taking my road test exam. He is very nice and works hard to get you to pass the test. 10/10

MDA was more than we could hope for with our first child preparing for her license. The instructors were so friendly and patient, made my child feel relaxed and confident. Always smiling and happy to see the students. The office staff were also very pleasant and extremely accommodating! We look forward to our second child working with MDA!! Thank you!!

However , Ive had a 15 minutes practice with Mr Rick and after a few weeks i get the Road Test. He was very nice and professional. The examiner is a cool guy, you wont be stressed with him. Our experience was fantastic. Although scheduling was difficult due to COVID we got through classes and the road test in a timely manner. My daughter was well prepared and all the instructors were great.

My daughter just completed her drivers Ed at Middlesex driving academy. She loved all the instructors and thanks to them she passed her road test with flying colors. The communication between the school and the student/parent was commendable, especially during the pandemic. They followed Covid guidelines and did an amazing job. They sent out weekly emails to schedule lessons for the following week. My daughter said the online classes were fun with Rick Smith as the instructor. He made them fun with his sense of humor and great personality. My son recently got his permit and I will be sending him to Middlesex as well. Highly recommend this school for drivers Ed.The only downfall is having to get the student to the school for a lesson. Due to Covid they were not picking up and dropping off the student at school or home which made it a challenge at times getting her there.

DO NOT ENROLL ON DRIVERS ED HERE!!!! All they want is their money , Worst experience ever!! Stay away from this place.

Passing my road test was a breeze with help from Rick! He is a great teacher, calm, patient and a clear communicator. His techniques for parallel parking and three point turn were the easiest to master. Ive failed on parallel parking twice before I learned from Rick, and this time it was so easy! I highly recommend his school.

I did private driving lessons with Rick Smith. He was very patient, understanding and generous. He also scheduled driving lessons with me which fit my schedule the best. I definitely recommend doing driving lessons with him.

Both my brother and I learned how to drive at Middlesex Driving Academy! The staff is very nice and welcoming, and the driving instructors are incredibly patient, as well as extremely well versed and able to fix mistakes right away! Plus, the staff is very ready to accommodate with scheduling and make sure you are fully ready for your road test!

This place is great for people learning to drive and getting their license. Rick is a great patient instructor who is so encouraging. Even during my roadtest the examiner and tge rest of the staff was great. Kind people who could ease somebody with the worst anxiety. Highly recommended!!

All of the instructors here are incredibly nice and supportive. I am going to college out of state and they were extremely accommodating in scheduling my driving hours so that I could complete them before I had to leave.

DO NOT ENROLL ON DRIVERS ED HERE!!!! All they want is their money and could care less about if you pass your road test or not. The 30 hours of classroom time with Mr. Smith did not teach me anything but what was on the menus of local food places because he kept getting distracted from teaching the actual course. If you were considering this dirving school because you thought you would get your license quicker and easier you are mistaken, help yourself and GO TO TRI TOWN or somewhere else definitely dont go here take my word for it.

Rick is super kind and is good with the way he teaches he is as helpful as he can possibly be and does his best to make his classes interesting and fun to the students.

Mr. Smith is absolutely wonderful. Hes gentle, mild mannered and calm and takes the time to take you on all sorts of routs. Was very prepared for the test and passed with flying colors. Would recommend to driving students of all ages. Also - very flexible - Mr. Smith picked me up and was willing to work on weekends. All and all great experience - highly recommend!

I highly recommend this school. It is very competitively priced and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule (I only could do weekends). The instructor (Mr. Smith) is a very funny and mild-mannered person, who gave a great confidence boost before my road test (which I have passed). He also shared a lot of practical tips about driving and about what a road test includes. Will definitely recommend this driving school to all my friends and anyone who is preparing to get their license.

Middlesex Driving Academy and their staff have been the most accommodating, kind, and understanding people that i’ve had the pleasure to work with. Even amongst the Covid-19 Pandemic, MDA has gone out of their way to facilitate and expedite the process of getting my drivers license. Because I was faced with a conflicting circumstance and an upcoming moving process (to a town significantly far from Middlesex Driving Academy), the owner of the driving school, Mr. Rick Smith, and his team, worked very hard to assist me in getting my license as soon as I could. They happily assisted my family and I without hesitation and we are extremely grateful for their generosity. Communication for establishing driving observation and behind-the-wheel hours were always professionally handled and executed. Overall, I would absolutely recommend enrolling at MDA for you or your childs journey to receiving their drivers license!

For wht it is they seem to try there best. If they were better organized and modernized it would have been a smoother experience.

Had to go to a second driving school so I went here and I loved it, mr.smith is so nice and funny and getting driving hours is very easy, got them all done so quick

Awful driving school. They are not flexible with driving hours, and seem to only book lessons for when it is convinient for the instructor. Also did not prepare me for my road test at all.

Driving instructor is very rude. I asked him politely to not use my $150,000 Mercedes to let students practice parallel parking. He proceeded to yell and tell me it wasnt an issue and refused to leave until I pulled out my phone to call the cops. Dont let your kids learn from this clown.

Driving instructor seemed nice in person, but was very rude on the phone with my parent and never returned phone calls when my parent tried to ask questions.

They teach you very well, Mr. Smith is very good. I really enjoyed learning driving here. They help you with the road test.
