Ive never been in this newer building but I went to the original Gainesboro that was in the old school building for most of my elementary years and it was by far the best elementary school experience I had as a child and still have very fond memories. In fact, the only writing award Ive ever gotten I got there for my paper being the best in why I love Gainesboro elementary. I dont know who the new principal is now but Ive ran in to the old principal in local stores a few times years later when I was older and also ran into my very first bus driver as well. Ill always be sad about the old building but its understandable why they made a new one. Probably was my most favorite educational experience of my life. Everything about the original school was great except that it was an old building. I had the best Kindergarten teacher as well.
