Cannot state how much I loved fencing there. Even though I moved (My father posted here) I still think I cannot express enough how good of a teacher he is.And Simon says will forever be imprinted in my head! Brilliant!

Michael is a wonderful, thoughtful coach that knows how to let the kids learn and have fun. He is stern with his fencers when needed and always tells parents the truth. Both my sons were in his fencing program in Arlington, MA for several years. We would still be with him if we had not moved to NH. When you see him in action, you will know how passionate he is about fencing and teaching fencing to children. I cannot recommend Michaels fencing program strongly enough.

Ive been a part of New England Fencing Alliance for over 11 years now. It wasnt just the fencing that kept me attending, it was the family dynamic and the life-long friendships that I found along the way. This club gave me the opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasures of being a kid, while also teaching me work ethic, among many important lessons in becoming an adult. If you are looking to start fencing, I highly recommend NEFA as a club to start!

My son has been fencing with NEFA for about 4 years and has enjoyed it tremendously. Weve been very happy as hes learned this new sport and gained skills and confidence. He looks forward to continuing to fence with NEFA.

I have had my son enrolled in New England Fencing Alliance for over 3 years. My son started quite young and Coach Michael is a master at balancing both learning the sport of fencing and fun. I can honestly say that this program builds fencing skills, personal growth and character building. I once again have signed up for another several sessions as this has now become a passion for my son and I am amazed at his growth in fencing and as a young man. I very highly recommend this program!

My son has been fencing with NEFA for three years and we are very pleased.I am very happy that the main focus is on learning the sport and having fun and not on just winning.. The group is very supportive without instilling the high-pressure mentality seen in many other fencing groups. This has been a positive experience in just about every respect. My son has learned much about perseverance, comradery, respect for his peers, coaches and equipment, and of course fencing.It also doesnt hurt that it is substantially underpriced compared to other fencing groups in the area.
