I moved here and heard good things about this school. I went in to see about joining for my boys and saw an instructor yelling at a boy and the kid looked so sad. Maybe that is the best you have around here, but I would never take my children to a place where kids look and were treated that way. I am sure the teach was not getting on to him without reason, but he could not have been more than 7 or 8 (about the age of my youngest boy). The instructor looked younger herself, maybe she was not the main instructor, but definitely a representative of the school. I have been in MMA/MA for a long time, I would avoid a place like this, there are other schools.

My kids started here beginning of last month and are ecstatic to come! The professionalism and grace that Boyces Martial Arts has shown during this pandemic is amazing. They have paid extra attention to every detail and keeping g things clean and up to the guidelines. My kids are so excited to have a place, especially right now that gives them some normalcy during this time of uncertainty!

I would recommend Boyce’s Martial Arts to anyone looking to get their kid into martial arts. My son has been at Boyce’s for a year and half now. He loves going to class and he loves all of his instructors! They are so good with the kids. I’ve seen a huge improvement in his physical endurance, concentration, and confidence. He’s really looking forward to working towards his black belt!

My son has been going to Boyces for a year now and loves it so much. The instructors do so well with teaching the kids confidence and on their Karate skills. My son has learned so much in the past year and loves working towards new belts and the Dragon drills.

My daughter has been attending for nearly a year and she loves it! Her self confidence has soared, she loves the instructors, and they always make sure to add lots of fun into the curriculum. I’m so pleased with the changes I’ve seen in my daughter, we will definitely be continuing at BMA.

My children and I attended this facility and if it werent for medical issues , wed still be going. This place taught self control, discipline, and amazing skills for all of us in a very fun environment . Its truly not just a place that youre considered a customer. You really grow to be a family. My daughter has been at BMA since April 2019 we have enjoyed our time while there and my daughter can’t wait to earn her black belt! The staff is friendly and are quick to resolve concerns.

Ill start by saying BMA is an amazing place. The instructors are incredible and they truly care about each and every child they teach. I have 2 boys, ages 8 and 6 that attend & the confidence it has given my children is amazing. They have helped them believe in themselves more and know they can do anything they set their minds to. My oldest said in a conversation with my dad at martial arts I matter, Im important and they believe in me! As a parent all you want is for your child to believe in themselves and know they can do great things. To have a place where you can take your child and they feel safe, confident, & important. I cant wait to continue our journey with BMA and see all the wonderful changes in my children and the things I know they will accomplish.

My 5-year-old daughter loves her classes! For her age group, Boyces has the perfect balance of high expectations with kid-friendly instruction. Its loud, colorful, high-energy, and FUN. I couldnt be more pleased with our experience.Ive also taken part in some of the adult classes, and you could not meet a nicer, more helpful group of people. But it was definitely challenging! If youre looking for real-world martial arts training, look no further.

Great place for children as well as adults to learn Martial Arts, no matter what level of experience they have. BMA provides a safe, fun, and encouraging learning environment, while at the same time challenging students to work hard and improve their skills. I am starting my second year of instruction, and am getting into the best shape of my life. I highly recommend Boyces Martial Arts.

My son has been attending classes at BMA for almost two years. We had no previous experience with martial arts and this academy has been wonderful. The instructors are well trained and knowledgeable as well as friendly and great with the students. My son has learned discipline and is building his skills not only in martial arts but on becoming a well rounded citizen. There is an emphasis on community, character as well as physical training and abilities. I recommend Boyces Martial Arts to anyone considering this type of training.

I used to go here and I was in their add on their youtube channel from 2011 although I went there around 2008. It is great, I learned a lot and still remember all the material I learned 9 years ago.

We enrolled our 5 year old a month ago in the Martial Arts program. Its hard to read the prior review because I do not see this program in any of that negative light protrayed above. They keep the children moving and change up the activities to keep then interested an excited about the class. I have been to a few other schools where the children stand in line and wait for most of the class. Im not paying for my child to stand around doing nothing.. so kudos to Boyces for truely filling up my childs time and not wasting my money. The contract although inconvient if you want to back out of it... it holds me accountable for my childs attendance... and amps my motivation to keep him involved. From what I can see.. I do not think the students run the classes.. I saw leadership on the shirts of a few students helping out. I believe this is part of the growth and acheivement process not some sort of cheesy child labor.Anyway, on a personal note.. although Boyces may be on the tad more expensive side of the local martial art schools.. i truely believe that you get what you pay for. And so far we are not regretting any decisions we have made to join this school.
