We went here to send some faxes and couldnt figure out how to best work the machines to meet our needs. Gordon and Samantha were SO helpful, and ended up proposing another solution altogether which ending up being a better way to go. Thanks for all the help guys!

Its a great place to learn about all of the wonderful office supplies that you could probably find on Amazon or Ebay for much cheaper. Theyve got mediocre customer service. The printing assistance is nice, but youll need to be patient.Theyve got everything from desks and printers to computers and portable chargers. The selection is amazing, but it seems to me they could dial it down a tad and focus more on customer service quality.The layout is colorful and exciting, but the employees seem to mostly be new, and not super familiar with one thing or another, just hit or miss. Cool place to get office supplies if youre on a pinch.

The store has everything when I need to get a product and people are friendly. The printing department is the big problem. They let me have free copies, but always excuses like they can’t get the right size or machine always breaks. It’s not what it used to be. Even with the same person the job is not done half the time. I sat there for fifteen minutes and nothing done. New people don’t get trained well.

Went to OfficeMax this evening to get set up with a few last minute essentials for my new work-at-home job. Ive been searching for a desk chair and they had a great selection. The manager Katelin helped me get all set up with the right chair. Ergonomic bliss. Ill be Zooming in comfort from day one. Sidebar, there was a customer in there at the same time who was very rude to the staff. Like, come on people. Its COVID times. We are all stressed. Just remember, be kind to the people who are keeping our local businesses afloat during these tough times and give em a break.

The products were alright, good selection of writing pens. Not very big selection of art supplies. The individual pens were mostly dried up. Not a single smile or welcome to the store. Extremely rude.

A gentleman named Chris was extremely helpful and informed on printer products. He was able to give me not only great insight on the product, but also recommendations on other possible products I could utilize. Customer service was great and I will return to office max for all of my future electronic needs.

Went here today to try and purchase and laptop and printer. When entering the store, we werent acknowledged by any of the staff which I understand because they did appear to be working short staffed. Regardless, we went to check out the laptops and found one we really liked but again were not acknowledged by the staff, even though there was someone in that dept helping out another customer. We went to the counter,where 2 staff members were standing there talking with one another , not helping any customers,and asked for help. They explained they were short staffed and once someone became available we would be helped. This was after standing by the computer we were interested in for over 10 minutes waiting and then when we walked away to get help, the associate sold the computer to another customer and it was the last one. Only then we were acknowledged by this particular staff member. Extremely frustrating, especially since we were planning on buying a printer in addition. Due to the poor customer service, we left without spending a dime of the close to $1000 we were prepared to spend and will NOT be returning.

This review is mainly for their print department (though I have no complaints with my experience with the rest of the store) who have been nothing short of amazing to me for the last couple of years. Their customer service is top-notch and I wish I could remember the names of everyone besides Nick (who used to manage the dept.) because they deserve the recognition.Unlike their competitors in town who always want to direct me to the self-service machines the minute I walk through the door and/or seem bothered to help me, the men and women in this print department are always incredibly helpful and accommodating.Id give 5 more stars if I could!

This place is in a great location pretty much in the middle of town albeit in an older building. Customer service is real hit and miss. Every other time I go in I get helped by someone who clearly doesnt know what theyre doing.Alex about setting up an account for my business and the guy had no clue how to do it and tried to have me apply for their card using personal info.Other time, the guy tells me youre getting a discount, yet couldnt explain why the price didnt change.Other times you get people who actually are helpful, just dont expect too much.

I spent part of three days emailing texts and images, printing color copies and creating self-published essays in custom binders with the help of the OfficeMax Copy Center staff.Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly and I received customer service above my expectations. Very nice to shop here and the people are smart and if they dont know something they find out who does....very easy going - displays are all well lit and accurate. I enjoy shopping here and will always look to Office Max for my office supplies. They took something back today (based upon my word of it not working - it did not work right) and that was very cool....got a full refund and purchased another similar item that worked perfectly when I brought it home. Thanks Office Max! Highly recommend!

Alex was very rude and was very put off that I asked him to ask the manager to honor a 20% coupon. He said he called the manager over but claimed he wasn’t coming bc he was on a phone call. He stared me down and it was very uncomfortable 😣

Drove all the way here to find that OFFICE MAX does not carry a USB-C laptop charger. It has to be ordered online?Why???? This is a very common item. But they sure have all the APPLE support products you could ever want.

Needed help finding an item. No one available on the floor. Had to wait in line at the checkout to get help. Mid-day weekday, so probably skeleton crew. Nice store but wish I didnt waste so much time waiting.

Maybe because the chain isnt doing as well as Staples, but they have a smaller amount of selections for items. Good for last minute needs, but not if youre looking for a very specific item. Theyre happy to order stuff for you, but it kind of defeats the purpose of going to a physical store.

I have done several print jobs with them and every single one has had some sort of significant issue. We always get it resolved, but it takes some aggressive negotiation to make it happen.In addition, as I have stood in line at the print department, waiting to be taken care of, I have seen several other customer having problems with their orders as well.If you have a critical project of any kind, I would not use them at all.The rest of the store is fine...

Any store that has such a horrible return policy has no idea how to create customer loyalty.Dont shop here if you dont plan on immediately returning something that you dont plan to keep. Apparently, they have a 14-day return policy on items they consider to be furniture -- which includes many items that are NOT furniture. So, when you go to return an unopened, new item (even 15-days after purchase) all youll get is a store gift card for the amount.To me, thats just a sleazy way to keep your money... and all theyve really done is ensure that we wont shop there anymore.

Walked around for 45 minutes without being asked once if I needed help. Then two people behind me in line walked right in front of me to checkout and they didnt say anything. No offer to help me carry the 300$ printer, the same size as me or a cart or anything. Really super customer service, considering I just spent hundreds of dollars in your store....

Yet another sad and pathetic office supply store IMHO. I went into the store last night to find an Office Depot® Brand 70 printer cartridge. I asked the guy at the front counter who was dark complected and dark hair. He pointed in the direction of the store to find the cartridges. I still could not find them so he ran over very fast to help me find them. He could not find the one I wanted. I also looked and could not see the Office Depot® Brand 70 printer cartridge.Another employee came who was lighter complected with longer light brown colored hair. He constantly kept asking me are you sure it is not an online order item. I said no, that I checked online and office depot carries them in stock. He looked online with his phone and said they did have it and it was only available by an online order. He said he could order one for me. I told him that I could order just as fast as he could. I asked what about the other Office Depot store in Ft.Collins Colorado on Harmony. He looked it up and said the other store in Ft,Collins does NOT carry them it either. He said it was ONLINE ORDER ONLY several times. This person was very rude, very short, very arrogant, and he was constantly claiming it was ONLINE ORDER ONLY!I called the other store after I walked out to my car. I gave them my printer name and model number Lexmark Z22. They looked it up and found that the Office Depot® Brand 70 printer cartridge was the correct one and they did in fact have one in stock. I said great and went over to that that store to get one. When I got there the other store not only had the Office Depot® Brand 70 printer cartridge in stock but they also had an original Lexmark cartridge in stack so I purchased both the Lexmark and the Office Depot cartridges.Office Max gets one star for the dark haired dark complected employee who ran over to help me find the cartridges.MINUS 1, Office Max gets MINUS one star for the arrogant light brown haired lighter complected employee employee with a bad attitude.MINUS 2, Office Max gets MINUS one star for the light brown haired lighter complected employee giving me the wrong information.MINUS 3, Office Max gets MINUS one star for the light brown haired lighter complected employee claiming ONLINE ORDER ONLY.MINUS 4, Office Max gets MINUS one star for plain rudeness by the light brown haired lighter complected employee.IMHO I would say go somewhere else for your office needs.BAD OFFICE MAX!!!

So far this has been the worst commercial transaction I have ever been involved with. I ordered, online, a NEW EPSON ECHO TANK, which I paid for.What I got was a two-year-old display model. One which did not come in its original packaging, which did not come with a power cord or a cable to connect it to my computer. It didnt even come with the ink with which it would be able to print.OfficeMax, instead of quickly handling this mess, customer support brought Epson into the mix. Epson pointed out that they couldnt do anything because the printer I received was no longer under warranty, it was over two years old.This was highly unethical and unprofessional and has given me serious concerns about ever doing business with OfficeMax or Office Depot.

They all look like a thuggish bunch of bouncers. Visible tattoos in black clothing with their arms crossed staring at you as you come in. One in particular smells like tobacco smoke. The lady workers seem to be fine but the rest were just lousy. My money is not appreciated here..

I bought weddong onvites to print at home. Well that did not work out. Office max came to the rescue. They took the time to make sure they could print them on the raised paper. They had them printed and ready well agead of schedule. I will use them again.
