We started our son here on a Monday in June. I know daycares are germy, but still. He had never even had the sniffles. By Wednesday of the first week, he had a double ear infection, pink eye & runny nose. It’s the end of October now, and we have had a total of 8 doctor visits since starting, all with pink eye & cold/ear infections diagnoses. This is not an exaggeration, I wish it were. I overheard a teacher being overly forceful & screaming at a child, so I told the director about it. (Don’t work in childcare if you don’t have the patience. Simple.) She said it was addressed, then I heard it happen again the very next week. Luckily, this wasn’t in my son’s room. The “reports” they send home daily are usually incomplete. He has had 4 or 5 incident reports of being hurt. The center shut down for a week bc of COVID, but we still had to pay tuition (I get it, you need money to run the business. Just annoying.) They sent out 5+ reminders about picture day, so we were signed up & prepared, he was dressed up, etc. His picture was not taken & we were not informed until the next day at drop off when he showed up in regular play clothes. Not a huge deal, I can take my own pictures, but it’s the principle of the fact that it wasn’t mentioned until too late. His first birthday wasn’t even acknowledged, which, again, not a huge deal, he’s 1. He won’t remember. But I figured they may do SOMETHING cute or at least wish him Happy Birthday? Nope. We’re constantly missing pacifiers, socks & bottles. He is given back to us daily without his face wiped & covered in crusty food & snot. He has had 7 teachers in 4 months, so now he cries at drop off bc there is no familiarity. They’ve kept him alive! So that’s all I can ask, I guess. We went with BBMA bc we liked the tour & the price was a little higher than other centers in the area. My mindset was you get what you pay for, so I’m willing to pay more for his daily care. We’re now actively looking elsewhere, but with the COVID unemployment rate, it has been difficult to find. Definitely go with someplace else if it’s an option for you.Edited to add: Despite the overall roughness, I will say that Mrs. Kade is absolutely wonderful with the kids. She has the perfect personality for it & my son just loves her. He lights up when he sees her.

My daughter loves BBM. We recently moved from South Florida to GA and Ms. June made the transition so easy. She is an amazing director and really is so sweet with all the kids. Honestly, all the staff have been so great with us. They always welcome our daughter with a happy, positive attitude and offer compassion when she’s having a hard morning, which is so important for kids in a new environment.My 3-year old daughter loves Ms. Annette. We’ve noticed she’s been talking so much more since she’s been here. She’s also learning a ton including letter recognition, learning to write her own name, etc. I love that they have an app that shows you what they ate, share photos of the kids activities and you can even email the teacher or director from the app.

Big Blue Marne Academy is amazing. I contacted them about a tour before deciding if my daughter would go there and they were very responsive. Sam made sure I had a time that was readily available for me. During the tour they followed all COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.The building was very well kept and sanitized. During the tour, Sam answered any questions that we had and helped assured us that our child would be in great hands. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this childcare and can’t wait to watch my daughter’s skills grow!

Theyre great with my three month old. I receive updates about my daughter throughout the day. I love that theres a direct line of communication to the teachers. The entire staff is friendly and helpful.

Such a fantastic place! After moving to Georgia and away from all of our family and friends finding a someone to watch my daughter was no easy task. After having a horrible experience at a different facility we discovered this wonderful place. I was greeted as if I was family and my daughter had been there her whole life. My daughter is always excited to go there and is happy at the end of the day. All of the staff have been incredible answering all of my questions and easing all of my concerns. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone!

We love BBMA. After having a bad experience with a previous child care centers. We love them and I feel luckily to have found them.

We have recently moved to the Acworth area and luckily found this establishment. My children LOVE it here! The teachers in the Pre-K program always seem eager to start the school day and my son is excited about school. He comes home telling me everything he has learned and is excited everyday when we pull up. The communication through the app is wonderful especially since we don’t get one on one time with the teachers because of Covid. My daughter is here as well on the daycare side of things. She is taken care of and again, the communication with the teachers that tend to her are wonderful. She dives for their arms each morning and is eager to go inside and play. This puts my mama heart at ease knowing she spent the majority of her first year of life with me. She plays hard and comes home happy.I can’t say enough about Big Blue Marble Academy in Acworth. June is always available if you have any questions or concerns and I felt heard here. I can describe it as a “family” type approach I feel here and I appreciate that especially when it comes to the care of my children. I highly recommend sending your children here! You won’t be disappointed!

This is a extremely well ran facility. My wife, myself, and most importantly our kids love it. Staff are constantly loving on the children here. Our children come home almost everyday reciting something new they have learned that week. We are so glad we have our children here! Also, Mrs. June, the director, is the best!

Me. Sam and June are super friendly! They were able to help make the transition back to work a little easier knowing that my boys are safe and in good hands.

BBM is wonderful, their staff are the sweetest. We transferred here just at the start of the pandemic & they were still welcoming. They have taken special care of my CCHD child with accommodating her special needs for feedings and developmental delays. My Pre-K child loves all their activities during camps and LOVES Ms. Whitney. The Director Ms. June is wonderful she’s been understanding and compassionate during some tough times for our family & so wonderful to all the kids and families. We have never been happier with a childcare facility! We will be using BBM for years to come! Thank you for everything you do for you families!

We love BBM!! We have been very impressed with the staff as well as the school itself! Ms. June has been a pleasure to work with and really helped my child transition from being kept at home to a school setting! He has also loved both Ms. Corinne and Ms. Whitney!! We would recommend BBM to anyone!

Ms. Bri has been great and we couldnt be happier. As a new family to the area and new parents, we feel extremely comfortable dropping our little one off everyday. We’ve had the BEST experience with Mrs. Whitney! She’s had both of my children in class and we couldn’t feel luckier! Mrs. Sandra is amazing too! It’s such a good feeling to feel comfortable leaving your children in a place where the teachers love your kids like their own!! We LOVE BBM!!!!

The Patience and acceptance of the director and teacher at this school speaks volume. Our Children our no longer dread going to school each day. Thank you for the love and dedication you poor into kids everyday.

My daughter has had a great experience thus far. We started with this daycare in August 2019. Her social skills and vocab. have increased a great deal.

I want to start off by saying, I don’t ever really take the time to do reviews but felt I should because finding a place that you know your child is safe and comfortable, is huge!! We absolutely love this place. My son started here right after turning one. We were reluctant about taking our little one to a child care facility during the pandemic but, myself and his father both work so we pretty much had no choice. We were both super nervous! Ms June put our minds at ease, she gladly answered all of our 1000 questions and was very genuine and welcoming. It smells so good inside, which is a big thing for me because I’ve been into some, where that “daycare” smell hits you in the face the second the door opens. The ladies do an amazing job, and have implemented a number of protocols to keep everyone healthy & safe, such as temperature screening for each child before their allowed to enter the building, the entire staff wears masks, They don’t allow anyone who does not attend the academy to enter, to prevent the possibility of passing anything to the teachers or children. (A teacher greets you out front for drop off and pick up) They have done outstanding! We were very impressed with the way they’ve handled everything through such a crazy, and constantly changing situation (COVID). My little one is shy, and does not attach to people easy at all, after the first week we would pull up to the academy and his face lights up and he gets super excited, just about jumps out of my arms to go to the BBMA ladies! I love I can drop him off knowing he wants to be there, and is enjoying his time. He is learning so much, he came home a couple of months ago saying, thank you.. and using it the right way!! They have a Spanish teacher that works with all the children. He is thriving and learning more and more everyday. We are SO thankful we found BBMA. I hope this helps others who want to make sure they are choosing the right place. Good luck!

I transferred my daughter to Big Blue Marble’s Ga Pre-K program after I wasn’t happy at her original school. I’m so happy we made this switch. My daughter loves going to school each day.

The management and staff have gone out of their way to accommodate our boy when he was having a rough morning. It really makes a world of difference for drop off knowing that he is in good hands.

My 15 month old is new to Big Blue Marble and we are very happy with the transition. The staff is friendly and kind, and the real-time app updates are awesome!

Love love love this school. You can feel the love the teachers have for each kid. I almost wish I could have another kid bc I sure will miss this place once my Prek kid goes to kindergarten.

Great School, Awesome teachers and the Best Directors Sundra and Brittany are really the glue and made me feel comfortable with transitioning to leaving my daughter with them as she started school for he first time.
