The staff is professionally trained and they make strategic use of class time. Music, costumes and choreography is classy, sophisticated and age appropriate. Children are taught life skills in addition to dance. Dancers at this studio are trained from the inside out. When kids travel to dance events outside of the studio, there is a marked and noticeable difference in how well-prepared the kids are. Alice gave my husband and I dance lessons to prepare for our first dance at the wedding. She was so professional and helpful. Our first dance was a hit thanks to her!!

What an incredible studio! Both of my daughters love every class they take. The teachers are professionals, creative, knowledgeable, caring, and strict but nurturing. Martell offers instruction in every genre of dance, building not only skilled and beautiful dancers, but also kind and respectful humans.

My daughter has been dancing for 7 years but has only been at Martell for 2-1/2 years. She had found a new love and confidence for all different types of dance. She takes Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Clogging, Modern and Lyrical and is always so excited for anything new. The staff and dance family at Martell helped my daughter to be confident enough to audition and be accepted into the dance program at Firestone ASA. Shes very happy and loves dance. Everyone at Martell have made us feel very welcome and loved in the short time weve been there. We wouldnt change a thing.

We have danced at Martell since before my daughter could walk- as we started with the mommy and me. 5 years later and a change ownership and we are STILL just as in love!! This studio truly focuses on building confidence through dance and that is so important for young girls! We travel just to go to this studio, it’s that wonderful. My daughters have been dancing at Martell School of Dance for 17 years overall. We were immediately impressed with the different styles of dance and the professionalism of the school & staff! We became part of the Martell family from the start, feeling the dedication and love from Teri, Jennifer, and now Rachel. Although we live about 20-25 minutes from the studio and there are at least five other dance studios within 10 minutes of our home, we have never considered switching studios.

If youre looking for a great dance studio, check out Martell. My daughter has danced for 10 years. She started at a different studio that only cared about ballet and she had other dance interests. We moved to Martell 4 years ago and wish we would have done it much sooner. The teachers are awesome. Not only do they offer great instruction, they truly care about every dancer. It really is a dance family. My daughter now takes ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, clogging, modern, lyrical and acro and participates on student staff, which offers opportunities for the students to demonstrate and help to instruct in classes. If your child loves to dance, I highly recommend Martell.

Good teachers, good kids, however, new management is not the best. If you like ballet, this maybe the place for you. Not much focus on different genres.

Martell offers a wide variety of genres of dance classes from beginner to advanced levels in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acro and Ballroom just to name a few!! My daughter has been dancing at Martell for 9 years and I am continually impressed with the office staff and the faculty. Martell teaches the good old fashion art of dance! These are some of the best dance teachers in town! The dedication, love and support that is given to all students is inspiring!!Martell is under new ownership and a Rachel is doing an amazing job!! This change has been so seamless they haven’t missed a beat!! Martell is tradition. Martell is home. Martell is Family and I’m so proud to be a part of it!!
